San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne signed his one-year tender on Monday. Bourne had 30 receptions on 44 targets for 358 yards and a career-high five touchdowns in 16 games (zero starts) for the team in 2019. There is plenty of opportunity for Bourne and others to start in three-receiver sets in 2020 behind Deebo Samuel. With nine touchdowns in his last two seasons with the Niners, the 24-year-old has proven to be a nice red-zone presence for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, but it remains to be seen if he can become a consistent starting option. There will be plenty of competition at the receiver position in San Fran, and they're also likely to address the position in the draft.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne captured two of four targets for 42 yards in the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. Bourne surprisingly led all Niners receivers in yards, coming up big in the third quarter with a 26-yard catch to setup a touchdown. The third-year Bourne proved he was a reliable-if-unspectacular weapon this season, recording six touchdowns including the playoffs. With veteran wideout Emmanuel Sanders an unrestricted free agent, Bourne could enter next season as the teams No. 2 receiver. Unless that transpires, he shouldnt garner much fantasy buzz.
San Francisco 49ers wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders and Kendrick Bourne may play a larger factor in the Super Bowl than they have to-date these playoffs. Pitted against an electric Kansas City Chiefs offense, the Niners may need a more balanced attack than the 27 pass attempts theyve totaled during their 2020 playoff run. Sanders has been a trusty chain-mover during his time in San Francisco, while Bourne has emerged as a legitimate red-zone threat this season. The price for both players in DFS and prop bets should be substantially lower than popular rookie Deebo Samuel, giving them a legitimate shot to best their projections with a couple big plays apiece.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is worth a gamble for Sundays NFC Championship against the Green Bay Packers. Bourne scored the only receiving touchdown for the Niners in the Divisional Round, adding to his 2019 resume as a legitimate red-zone threat. The third-year pro has just 33 catches this year, including the playoffs, but collected six scores. Despite his risks as a zero-floor fantasy option, Bourne has emerged as a trustworthy target in clutch situations.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne nabbed three of five targets for 40 yards and a touchdown in the Divisional Round victory against the Minnesota Vikings. The underrated Bourne proved his worth again, cradling a three-yard pass for a spike to open the scoring in the first quarter. He also converted an impressive first down later in the frame. Bourne isnt flashy, but his six touchdowns this season proves that the Niners trust him in clutch situations. Hell be a dart-throw WR4 option in the NFC Championship game next Sunday.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is a tough sell in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams. After collecting five spikes in his previous six games, Bourne regressed with just a single catch for 11 yards in Week 15. With second year wideout Dante Pettis back in the mix, Bournes fantasy value is no longer viable. Bourne is a trusted player in the Niners offense but is merely a touchdown-dependent, zero-floor WR5.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne has emerged lately as a red zone threat. The third-year pro has collected five spikes in his last six games, operating as the teams primary third receiver. With Marquise Goodwin (foot, knee) on injured reserve, Bournes 50 percent snap share should remain steady in Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons, even with sophomore disappointment Dante Pettis (knee) back in the mix. While his touchdown prowess is tough to ignore, Bourne hasnt eclipsed four catches or 45 yards during his scoring run, rendering him a volatile WR5.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne snatched three of four targets for 18 yards and two touchdowns in Week 14 against the New Orleans Saints. Bourne once again operated as the Niners third receiver and red zone weapon, converting a pair of six-yard touchdown grabs. With five scores in his last six contests, the reliable Bourne has the trust of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo but his light volume translates into risky fantasy value. Hell be a touchdown-dependent WR5 in Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne led the Niners in receiving with 42 yards and three catches in Week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens. In a rainy contest, the trustworthy but unspectacular Bourne made his typical impact on the margins despite being the fourth-best option in the passing game. The output marked just his third contest surpassing 40 yards this season and outside of the deepest leagues or a DFS dart-throw, Bourne isnt worth chasing on the waiver wire.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne caught both his targets for 27 yards in his team's 37-8 defeat of the Green Bay Packers. The 24-year-old notably didn't find the end zone after scoring in each of his last three games. Bourne has topped 50 receiving yards once this year and seems firmly stuck behind Deebo Samuel and Emmanuel Sanders for targets. He's best left on the waiver wire ahead of a Week 13 battle with the tough Baltimore Ravens.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne netted four of six targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals. Bourne was the clear No. 2 option behind rookie Deebo Samuel but played ahead of a hobbled Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) and Marquise Goodwin. His third score of the season came from two yards out in the fourth quarter. Bourne continues to see regular snaps as hes firmly surpassed Dante Pettis (zero targets) on the depth chart. He could merit a deep-league waiver claim but will just be a low-floor WR5 in Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne caught four of eight targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks. Bourne was rewarded with a 10-yard touchdown in the first quarter and received extra playing time throughout with wideout Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) exiting early. The third-year pro now has touchdowns in consecutive games but doesnt have the volume or pedigree to be a sustainable fantasy asset. Even if Sanders misses time, Bournes not someone to chase on the waiver wire.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne netted his only target for a 7-yard touchdown in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals. Typically a rotational receiver, Bourne earned a handful of extra snaps on Thursday with Marquise Goodwin a healthy scratch and cashed with his first score of the season. Bourne is up to 11 grabs for 158 yards this year but still miles from fantasy relevance.
