Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) completed 36 of his 50 passes for 446 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-32 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 10.

Fantasy Spin: The Chiefs didn't pick up the win, but Mahomes left no doubt that he will continue to put up elite fantasy numbers despite a knee injury that cost him a couple of games.

Nov 10 8:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes returned in Week 10 after missing two games and didn't miss a beat. Mahomes completed 36 of 50 passing attempts for 446 yards and three touchdowns without an interception in the loss to the Titans. He scored on the first offensive drive of the game and later hit Mecole Hardman for a 63-yard touchdown. Mahomes doesn't look bothered at all from his dislocated kneecap that forced him to miss the two games prior to this. Sadly, the Chiefs weren't able to secure the win, but Mahomes will be an elite QB1 for next week against the Chargers.

Nov 9 6:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) has missed the last two games, but will be back on the field for Week 10 against the Titans. Mahomes has thrown for 2,180 passing yards with 15 touchdowns and one interception this season. He's been a fantastic fantasy quarterback and that should continue against Tennessee. Fantasy owners can go ahead and plug Mahomes in as an elite QB1 for Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 4:23pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes will return to the lineup after a two-game absence but should receive his normal workload this week. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 2:33pm ET

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) said Friday, Nov. 8, he is comfortable in returning to action in Week 10 and believes he can do what he needs to. 'I'm in a great spot,' Mahomes said. Earlier, Chiefs coach Andy Reid declared Mahomes the starter 'unless something happens' between now and kickoff Sunday in Tennessee.

Fantasy Spin: There's always a re-injury risk for a player just returning, but you have to trust that Reid and the Chiefs' medical staff believe it's minimal in bringing back such a valuable commodity this quickly. Unless you also have Lamar Jackson, don't hesitate in starting Mahomes.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 2:23pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) will return as the team's starter Sunday, Nov. 10, against the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Spin: As was becoming clear, Mahomes is ahead of his timetable and his knee injury caused him to miss only two starts. He slots right back in as an elite QB1 and his return also elevates the rest of the K.C. offense, especially those further down the pecking order such as WRs Sammy Watkins and Mecole Hardman.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 5:53pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) remained a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

Fantasy Spin: While Mahomes hasn't been officially named the starter for the Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans, keeping him on the bench at this point would seem extra cautionary. That wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, but his return would certainly be welcomed by fantasy managers.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 9:43pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Matt Moore continues to split first-team reps with QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) in practice, and he could start in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans if Mahomes is deemed not ready.

Fantasy Spin: Moore didn't do much in a win against the Denver Broncos, he fell to the Green Bay Packers but had a solid statistical day, and he threw for 275 yards and a touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings. He is more of a QB2 in most fantasy leagues if he makes another start.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 9:43pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) will continue to split first-team reps with QB Matt Moore in practice this week, and it's possible he could return in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans. 'It's going to be day to day,' head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday, Nov. 6. 'He didn't take a ton of reps last week. We'll try to increase him a little bit and see how it works out.'

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes might be practicing this week, but the Chiefs are taking it slowly with him and it is anything but a certainty that he'll be the starter against the Titans. Fantasy owners might want to keep him reserved until he can officially return and play a full game without any setbacks.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 6:00pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) was listed as a full practice participant on Wednesday. Mahomes has been out since dislocating his kneecap on Oct. 17 against the Broncos, but he's fully expected to make his return in Week 10 against the Titans, barring a setback this week. The 24-year-old 2018 MVP is a must-start at the QB position anytime he's active, and his presence under center will be a big boost to the likes of Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Damien Williams and LeSean McCoy. Matt Moore, who performed admirably in two games without Mahomes, will head back to the bench.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 5:53pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes appears to be on track to play this week, but fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if he suffers any setbacks. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues if he plays.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 1:33pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) doesn't have a date set for his potential return, according to head coach Andy Reid Monday, Nov. 4. Reid added Mahomes looked better in practice last week.

Fantasy Spin: The Chiefs have billed Mahomes as having a possibility of returning each of the last two weeks before ultimately ruling him out and naming Matt Moore as starter. They pulled off a 26-23 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9 and continue to lead the AFC West. Fantasy managers should be fine with the Chiefs taking it slow with Mahomes rather than risking his long-term health.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 12:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) and defensive end Frank Clark (neck) are both inactive for Week 9 against the Vikings. Mahomes was a game-time decision, but the Chiefs are playing it safe with their star quarterback. There's a good chance he returns in Week 10 to face the Titans. When he's back, Mahomes will be a surefire high-end QB1 and will raise the ceiling of all of his offensive weapons. Matt Moore will make his second straight start, but he's more of a low-end QB2. Clark's absence is good news for Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, who has been on a roll of late. Cornerback Kendall Fuller (thumb) is also inactive, but defensive tackle Chris Jones (groin) will return to action in this one.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 11:53am ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) has been declared inactive for the team's Week 9 game.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 11:33am ET

The Kansas City Chiefs have declared LB Alex Okafor, QB Patrick Mahomes, CB Kendall Fuller, OT Eric Fisher, OT Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, DE Frank Clark and RB Darwin Thompson inactive for Week 9.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 9:50am ET

Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) will miss another game on Sunday when the Chiefs face the Minnesota Vikings, which means that Matt Moore will earn another start for the Chiefs. Moore threw for 267 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Week 8, so his presence isn't a death sentence for the Chiefs, but the Vikings have a solid defense, so while you're still starting Chiefs position players, you might want to avoid actually starting Moore. Mahomes will likely be back in Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Nov 2 5:30pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) has a chance to play in Week 9 against the Vikings, according to sources. Mahomes took second-team repetitions in limited practices all week, but he'll be a game-time decision. The 2018 MVP will be a must-start if he's active despite a tough matchup against the Vikings, and his presence under center would boost the upside for the likes of Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Mecole Hardman, LeSean McCoy and Travis Kelce. If Mahomes doesn't get the green light, Matt Moore would be a low-end QB2 in his second straight start.

From RotoBaller

Nov 2 5:23pm ET

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) has a chance of playing Sunday, Nov. 3, against the Minnesota Vikings, sources told ESPN's Ed Werder Saturday, Nov. 2.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes will need to be in fantasy lineups if active but managers shouldn't be expecting his typical performance. It would be easier for fantasy managers if he was simply ruled out, but they'll have to take the risk of a subpar outing.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 2:13pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) will test his injured knee Sunday, Nov. 3, in pre-game warmups but is expected to miss a second straight start as Matt Moore gets the call. Newly-activated QB Chad Henne (ankle) could serve as the backup.

Fantasy Spin: Count on the Chiefs to keep playing it safe with Mahomes, who even if he misses Week 9, still has a chance to beat his original absence timeline.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 7:43pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 1, and is listed as questionable for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes will be a game-time decision this week, so fantasy players will need to monitor the situation over the next few days. He would be facing a solid Minnesota Vikings defense if he plays but should still be a starting option in all leagues if active.
