Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling posted one reception for six yards on his only target in Week 16 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Spin: Valdes-Scantling was a very useful fantasy option in the middle of the season, but he has just three grabs for 17 yards on 12 targets across the past seven outings. At this point he isn't even worth a look in the deepest leagues for Week 17, and even fantasy owners will want to be careful using him in postseason fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 1 5:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling was targeted two times during the Week 13 game against the New York Giants but finished with zero receptions.

Fantasy Spin: Valdes-Scantling has been held without a catch in three of his last four games and has only been targeted eight times in those four games. He can be avoided in most fantasy leagues moving forward.

From TheHuddle

Nov 25 12:40am ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught one of three targets for seven yards. The 25-year-old caught a deep ball from Rodgers in the end zone, though he was well out of bounds. That was the closest Valdes-Scantling has come to scoring a touchdown since his Week 7 explosion against the Oakland Raiders. Next week's matchup against the 26th-ranked pass defense of the New York Giants might be just what the doctor ordered for Valdes-Scantling.

From RotoBaller

Nov 23 11:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is tied for second in the NFL with five catches of 40-plus yards this season, but he has one reception in the last three games combined and has two catches or less in six straight games.

Fantasy Spin: With his big-play potential, Valdes-Scantling is always one pass away from helping out fantasy owners, but with three targets or less in six straight games, he is an all-or-nothing flex option against San Francisco in Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 10:20am ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling can't be trusted for fantasy purposes right now ahead of a Week 12 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers' number-one pass defense. In Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers, the 25-year-old was held without a catch and played a season-low 17 percent of the snaps. Valdes-Scantling put up 6-99-1 and 2-133-1 receiving lines this year, but those games feel very far away at the moment. He should be on fantasy benches until he gives us a reason to trust him again.

From RotoBaller

Nov 11 1:20pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison were both unproductive in their team's Week 10 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Valdes-Scantling didn't register a catch for the second straight week. Meanwhile, Allison caught all three targets for a paltry six yards. For perspective, fellow receiver Davante Adams had more receiving yards in Week 10 than these two combined for the last three weeks. They both cannot be trusted for fantasy purposes anymore, at least until they prove otherwise. Hopefully, they'll shape up during their Week 11 bye because they'll face the San Francisco 49ers' league-best pass defense in Week 12.

From RotoBaller

Nov 11 3:33am ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling did not have a reception in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Spin: MVS was MIA in Week 10, getting shut out while the other four active wideouts each caught at least two passes. Perhaps the conditions weren't conducive to Valdes-Scantling's skill set, but whatever the reason it's another step in the wrong direction for the player that began the season as Green Bay's No. 2 receiver. At this point you should strongly consider cutting him loose.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 6:33pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Fantasy Spin: Valdes-Scantling has been targeted only nine times over the last four games and has been held to under 50 yards in three of those games. He has played well at times this season but could be benched if fantasy players have better options available.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 4:43pm ET

Green Bay Packers TE Robert Tonyan (hip) did not practice Friday, Nov. 8, and is listed as doubtful for Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers. S Adrian Amos was upgraded to a limited practice Friday, while CB Jaire Alexander (groin) was added to the injury report Friday following a limited practice; both players are listed as questionable. WR Davante Adams (toe) and OT Bryan Bulaga (rest) were limited in practice all week but do not appear on the injury report. TE Jimmy Graham (rest) and CB Tramon Williams (rest) were limited for a second straight day Friday but also does not appear on the injury report. TE Marcedes Lewis (rest) was upgraded to a limited practice Friday and has also been cleared to play. LB Oren Burks (chest), DL Kenny Clark (shin), RB Aaron Jones (shoulder), CB Kevin King (groin), WR Jake Kumerow (shoulder), LB Blake Martinez (hand), S Will Redmond (elbow), QB Aaron Rodgers (knee), LB Preston Smith (hand) and WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 5:33pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle/knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

Fantasy Spin: MVS went without a catch in the Week 9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He hasn't had more than two catches in a game since Week 4 and should be left on fantasy benches with WR Davante Adams back in the lineup.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 2:30pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) was limited in practice yesterday. The 25-year-old was also limited early on last week but ultimately was able to play. Unfortunately, Valdes-Scantling failed to record a catch against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9. He's seen only nine targets in his last four games. Valdes-Scantling could go out there and put up big numbers against the Carolina Panthers' ninth-ranked pass defense. It's more likely that he has another quiet game. It's hard to recommend any players on this offense besides Davante Adams, Aaron Jones and, Jamaal Williams.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 6:53pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Fantasy Spin: Valdes-Scantling was held off the stat sheet last week and has been targeted only four times over the last two games. He probably will see less targets with Davante Adams back in the lineup and can be benched if fantasy players have better options.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 6:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receivers Davante Adams (toe) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle/knee) were both limited participants in Wednesday's snowy practice. Adams returned last week after missing four games with the turf toe injury and immediately saw 11 targets. The Pro Bowl receiver said the toe is still sore though there's been "no setbacks." At this point, it's just a precautionary measure-and Adams will have two days to upgrade to a full participant. Valdes-Scantling was limited last week as well with the ankle and knee injuries but was still able to suit up in Week 9. He'll also look to be a full participant by the end of the week. Adams is a WR1 in Week 10. Valdes-Scantling is just a boom-or-bust WR4.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 10:30pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a quiet day against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9. The 25-year-old was targeted twice but failed to haul in any passes as his team's offense struggled as a whole. Valdes-Scantling saw just two targets for the second consecutive game and has been a bust the last two weeks. It will be hard for him to find consistent targets with star wideout Davante Adams back in the fold. Valdes-Scantling will compete with Geronimo Allison and Allen Lazard for looks behind Adams, making him a risky boom-or-bust option moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 10:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling failed to catch either of his targets in a 26-11 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: He has been held to just two catches or less in five straight games, and after showing some potential early in the year, Valdes-Scantling can no longer be trusted as a fantasy starter in any capacity.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 4:43pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 1, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Valdes-Scantling probably will lose some targets in the passing game when Davante Adams returns but should still have a solid role. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 6:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle/knee) remained limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 31.

Fantasy Spin: MVS caught one of just two targets for four yards last week against the Kansas City Chiefs in his least effective game of the season. Fantasy managers should want to see him get in a proper practice session before trusting him off of the dud.

From TheHuddle

Oct 30 8:23pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Fantasy Spin: Valdes-Scantling is coming off a disappointing Week 8 performance and has been targeted only seven times over the last three games. He will still have a role in the passing game when Davante Adams returns but may only be a No. 3 receiver or flex option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 28 2:13am ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling caught one pass for four yards in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Spin: MVS was targeted once downfield, but that was it as Aaron Rodgers attacked the Chiefs with his running backs on Sunday night. Like a lot of deep threats, Valdes-Scantling's value figures to fluctuate greatly from one game to the next.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 8:43pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 25, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Valdes-Scantling will continue to serve as the team's No. 1 receiver while Davante Adams is out of the lineup. He has been a solid option all season and can continue to be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in fantasy leagues.
