Edelman was suspended the first four games of the season but was the top receiver in the offense once he returned to the lineup. He had 74 receptions for 850 yards and six touchdowns. If he plays a full season, Edelman has 99 receptions for 1,133 yards and eight touchdowns. Edelman was 21st overall in fantasy receiver scoring despite missing four games. He had two 100-yard games and at least five receptions nine games. Edelman was a consistent force in the Patriots pass-heavy offense. He should continue his high-volume role this year. Edelman has 90-plus receptions three of five seasons and two 1,000-yard seasons during that stretch. Edelman is a small target, but has good speed and hands. He does well on crossing routes and makings plays after the catch. Tom Brady trusts him in the passing game and throws his way often, especially when he needs to move the chains. Fantasy Outlook: Edelman just gets it done on a weekly basis. He might not score many touchdowns but his reception and yardage totals make him a top-20 fantasy receiver. He will get around 90 receptions for 1,000 yards and six or so scores.
The 62 230-pound Harry has become the most likely candidate to lead this years rookie class in most major categories at the wide receiver position. He captured 213 receptions while accruing 2,889 yards and 22 touchdowns during his three seasons at Arizona State., which includes the output that he delivered in 2018 (73 receptions/1,088 yards/9 touchdowns/14.9 YPC). Harry has demonstrated his prowess for confiscating contested throws, and this ability to track passes that are launched in his vicinity combine with his size and competitive approach to provide a highly favorable blend of attributes. He also became the beneficiary of an opportunity to become an immediate contributor for a New England offense that is largely devoid of both dependable and dynamic receiving weapons, as Julian Edelman is the only Patriot receiver who is cemented into an integral role for the team. Harry can quickly emerge as productive presence for both the New England offense and the fantasy owners who select him. This justifies his current standing as the first overall selection in many rookie drafts. He should also exceed the current expectations of his eighth round ADP in redraft leagues.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 18.
Fantasy Spin: Edelman will be able to play this week and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.
New England Patriots WR Josh Gordon (knee, ankle), TE Matt LaCosse (knee) and TE Ryan Izzo (concussion) did not practice Friday, Oct. 18. RB Rex Burkhead (foot), S Patrick Chung (heel, chest), WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) and WR Julian Edelman (chest) were limited.
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman (chest) was limited during the Patriots practice on Thursday. It appears to simply be a maintenance day for the veteran after taking a couple of big shots last week. Edelman is preparing to go up against a Jets Defense for MNF that is allowing the 13th most fantasy points to receivers this season. Edelman caught seven passes for 62 yards and one touchdown against the Jets in Week 3 and should be on the WR1 map in Week 7 if he plays.
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 17.
Fantasy Spin: Edelman has been on the injury report for several weeks but has not missed any games and is on track to play again in Week 7. He is a must-start option in every fantasy league.
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) had nine receptions for 113 yards during the team's win over the New York Giants on Thursday, Oct. 10.
Fantasy Spin: After averaging 57 yards receiving per game in September, Edelman has picked things up over the past two weeks, topping 100 yards in each game and being targeted 24 times, including 15 Thursday night. With Josh Gordon bowing out with a knee injury, Edelman was the last man standing outside, and he could be seeing a lot of targets going forward, especially if Gordon and/or Phillip Dorsett are sidelined.
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman caught nine passes for 113 yards in the Patriots 35-14 win over the Giants in Week 6. The veteran was targeted 15 times and now has 110-plus receiving yards in back-to-back games. Despite having only two touchdowns thus far this season, Edelman's production in the passing game is running like clockwork. He will be a solid WR2 option next Monday night against the Jets, especially if Josh Gordon (knee) and Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) are out.
Patriots' WR Julian Edelman had 9 receptions for 113 yards but no touchdowns in Thursday's win against the Giants. It was Edelman's 2nd consecutive 100+ yard receiving game. He has averaged 9 catches with 112 receiving yards in those games.
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 9, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.
Fantasy Spin: Edelman will be able to play despite being questionable and will continue to be the main option in the passing game for Tom Brady. He should be at least a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues and could be a No. 1 receiver in some leagues because of the matchup.
New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) did not practice for a second straight day Tuesday, Oct. 8. RB Rex Burkhead (foot), S Patrick Chung (heel), DB Nate Ebner (groin), WR Julian Edelman (chest), WR Josh Gordon (knee) and LB Shilique Calhoun (ankle) were limited.
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman (chest) was limited at practice but is expected to play this Thursday against the Giants. Edelman has been dealing with a myriad of injuries since training camp but continues to suit up and play for the 5-0 Patriots. Edelman will have a prime matchup against a Giants Defense that is allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing receivers, including eight receiving touchdowns. The Giants have also allowed four 100-yard receiving games to opposing pass-catchers and Edelman is coming off his best game of the season. All signs point to Edelman playing on Thursday and will be a solid WR2 option in Week 6.
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) was limited during practice Monday, Oct. 7. The Patriots did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.
Fantasy Spin: Edelman is in no danger of missing the Week 6 game and will continue to be the focal point in the passing game. He should be considered a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues.
New England Patriots wide receiver caught eight passes for 110 yards with one touchdown in the teams 33-7 blowout win over the Redskins. Edelman dominated from the slot position, punctuated by catching a 6-yard pass from Tom Brady for the Patriots first touchdown of the game. The Patriots will face the Giants this coming Thursday and Edelman will head into Week 6 with 29 receptions for 336 yards and two touchdowns on the season.
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman registered eight receptions for a season-high 110 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Week 5 against the Washington Redskins.
Fantasy Spin: Edelman was the go-to receiver in the lopsided victory against the overmatched Redskins. He has at least four receptions in all four games this season, but this was easily his best performance. He remains a good low-end WR3 in PPR leagues, with lesser value in other formats heading into Week 6 against the New York Giants on Thursday.
Patriots' WR Julian Edelman had 8 receptions for 110 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's win in Washington.
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) will play in Week 5's game against the New England Patriots, according to a league source.
Fantasy Spin: Edelman was listed as questionable on the injury report after being a limited practice participant throughout the week. He has a favorable matchup this week and makes a solid WR2 option in all fantasy formats.
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman (chest) will play against Washington. Edelman has been dealing with the ailment for a few weeks after getting injured during the team's Week 3 matchup against the Jets but was still able to suit up against the Bills in Week 4, finishing the day with four receptions for 30 yards. The veteran will likely get his catches in early as the Pats are expected to win big as a result of a horrendous Redskins Defense, but he still remains a must-start in Week 5, nonetheless.
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman should have an active first half, at least, against a porous Redskins Defense in Week 5. Washington is allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing receivers this season, including nine or more fantasy points to eight different receivers. Edelman's production has been a slight disappointment for fantasy owners with 21 receptions for 226 yards and only one touchdown. But he could thrive against a Redskins team that could be down multiple touchdowns by halftime. Edelman will have low-end WR2 value against the Redskins.
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 4, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.
Fantasy Spin: Edelman should not be in any danger of missing the Week 5 game even though he is questionable. He should have a favorable matchup this week and can be at least a No. 2 receiver in fantasy leagues.
New England Patriots RB Rex Burkhead (foot), S Patrick Chung (heel), DB Nate Ebner (groin), WR Julian Edelman (chest) and LB Dont'a Hightower (shoulder) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable for Week 5 versus the Washington Redskins. DL Michael Bennett (shoulder) fully participated in practice all week, while WR Josh Gordon (knee) was upgraded to full practice Friday, Oct. 4; both players no longer appear on the injury report. WR Gunner Olszewski (hamstring) was not given a practice designation for a second straight day Friday but was also removed from the injury report.
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (chest) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 3.
Fantasy Spin: Edelman has been a reliable fantasy receiver for years and should be a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues this week.
