Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson (hip) has progressed in his rehab without setbacks since suffering a hip injury in October, according to a league source. Doctors have ruled out surgery once and for all for Wilson and has raised hope that he will be able to get back on the field this spring. The belief is that Wilson will be ready for the start of the offseason program in April. Wilson ranked third on the team in touchdowns (four receiving and one passing) despite missing nine games, and his yards-per-catch average (15.0) led the team. Although Miami's quarterback situation is up in the air, Wilson should have a prominent place in the team's offense next year regardless.

Jan 23 2:13am ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (hip) is on schedule with his recovery from an October hip injury that landed him on IR and could be at full speed when the team's offseason workout program begins in April.

Fantasy Spin: After four largely nondescript seasons in Kansas City, Wilson flashed some playmaking ability before getting injured against the Lions. There are far too many variables in Miami for an accurate read on Wilson's fantasy prospects for 2019, but he did enough last year to warrant your attention.

Oct 24 3:23pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (hip) was officially placed on the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Fantasy Spin: As has been stated previously, Danny Amendola, Jakeem Grant and DeVante Parker are the main beneficiaries of Wilson's misfortune. Amendola is the most consistent threat and deserves flex consideration.

Oct 23 7:00pm ET

While Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson (hip) won't need surgery, he's still likely to be placed on Injured Reserve to give him time to recover, according to a source. He won't be eligible to return for eight weeks, so fantasy owners that added him last week off waivers will need to dump him already. Kenny Stills is also out for Thursday against the Texans, so Miami will go with Danny Amendola, Jakeem Grant and Devante Parker in three-wide sets. Amendola is the most attractive fantasy option in PPR leagues and could serve as a WR3 as a bye-week filler.

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (hip) won't need surgery on his injured hip, but he is expected to be placed on the Reserve/Injured list.

Fantasy Spin: This is a sizable loss for the Dolphins who are now shallow at wide receiver. Jakeem Grant, Danny Amendola and DeVante Parker will benefit this week with both Wilson and Kenny Stils out. Amendola is the most reliable Miami receiver, but Grant has the most big-play ability.

Oct 22 5:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins TE A.J. Derby (foot), DE Charles Harris (calf), WR Kenny Stills (groin) and WR Albert Wilson (hip) did not participate in practice Monday, Oct. 22. TE Mike Gesicki (shoulder), FS T.J. McDonald (ankle, knee) and QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) were limited during practice. LB Stephone Anthony (quadriceps), LB Jerome Baker (knee), OG Jesse Davis (elbow), SS Reshad Jones (shoulder), CB Bobby McCain (knee), DT Vincent Taylor (foot) and DE Cameron Wake (knee) fully participated in practice.

Oct 22 4:13pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (hip) has a 'high probability' of going on the Reserve/Injured list, according to head coach Adam Gase. Wilson suffered a labrum injury in Week 7 and will visit a specialist, as noted earlier.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has been a bright spot for the Dolphins this year. Kenny Stills is also dealing with an ailment, so Danny Amendola, DeVante Parker and Jakeem Grant all benefit in the immediate future. Parker can't be trusted, but the other two can be considered as a flex.

Oct 22 2:50pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson (hip) will visit with a hip specialist to get a timeline on his injured labrum that was deemed significant, according to a source. Wilson will miss the Week 8 game on Thursday against the Texans and is out indefinitely. He could wind up missing the rest of the season, so he can be dropped if you added him off the waiver wire last week. With Kenny Stills also likely to miss Thursday's game, Danny Amendola, Jakeem Grant and Devante Parker should be the team's wideouts. Amendola will be the hot waiver pickup of the week.

Oct 22 2:03pm ET

Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson is scheduled to visit a hip specialist to get a timeline on the labrum injury he suffered in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions. The expectation is Wilson will miss multiple games, but his prognosis for the remainder of the season has yet to be determined. Wilson's agent earlier suggested his client suffered a 'significant' injury versus the Lions.

Oct 22 12:20pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson (hip) suffered a hip injury in Week 7 that could keep him out for the rest of the season, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. The best case scenario is that he would miss a few weeks," Rosenhaus said. Wilson will undergo more tests on Monday. It's a blow to Miami's passing offense, as Wilson had come alive in Week 6, catching a season-high six passes on nine targets for 155 yards and two touchdowns. With Kenny Stills also injured, the team will likely be down to Danny Amendola, Jakeem Grant and Devante Parker this Thursday against the Texans. Amendola will be a hot waiver pickup this week. Rookie tight end Mike Gesicki might start seeing more targets as well.

Oct 22 1:23am ET

Updating previous reports, Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (hip) will likely miss at least a few weeks and could be done for the season with what Wilson's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, branded a 'significant' injury.

Fantasy Spin: Well, that escalated quickly. Wilson had been a pleasant surprise for the Dolphins and was coming off arguably the best game of his career in Week 6. Wait for a more official update from the Dolphins before taking any action, but if it's gonna be long term there's no reason to carry Wilson on your roster. As for the next man up, you'd have to think it'd mean more action for Danny Amendola and maybe Adam Gase will break the glass on DeVante Parker.

Oct 21 5:00pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson suffered a hip injury in Miami's 32-21 loss to Detroit in Week 7. Wilson left during the second quarter and never returned. The extent of the injury hasn't been revealed at this time, but considering Miami plays on Thursday Night Football in Week 8 Wilson's status should be in serious doubt. He caught three passes for 32 yards before departing.

Oct 21 3:13pm ET

Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (leg) will not return to the Week 7 game because his leg injury.

Fantasy Spin: The Dolphins play their next on Thursday Night Football, so Wilson may not have enough time to recover in time to play in Week 8. Kenny Stills, DeVante Parker and Danny Amendola could all receive extra targets with Wilson sidelined but none of them are great fantasy options.

Oct 21 2:10pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson (leg) is questionable to return after exiting Miami's Week 7 game against the Lions. Descriptions of the injury have been rather vague, with reporters hinting it might be a knee injury. Wilson had three catches for 32 yards before leaving. If he is forced to miss time Danny Amendola or Jakeem Grant could step up in his absence.

Oct 21 2:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson (leg) suffered a leg injury during the Week 7 game and is considered questionable to return.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has been one of the top playmakers for the Dolphins over the last few weeks, so owners will need to keep an eye out for any update.

Oct 18 4:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson will look to build off of his excellent Week 6 performance in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions. Other than Week 3, Wilson has seen a steady increase in targets and receptions over the course of the season. Wilson will also be catching passes from Brock Osweiler again this week as Ryan Tannehill remains out. Wilson and Osweiler seemed to be on the exact same page in Week 6 and will likely continue to be in Week 7. The Dolphins do have a deep receiving core which makes it difficult to say that Wilson will have another stand-out fantasy week but there is reason to believe that a solid week will happen. Wilson is a great option at WR2/3.

From RotoBaller

Oct 16 1:00pm ET

Dolphins' WR Albert Wilson scored an astounding 33.50 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 6 win against the Bears. Wilson caught six passes for 155 yards with two touchdowns.

Oct 14 7:23pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Albert Wilson finished with six receptions for 155 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson is the first Dolphins player with at least 150 receiving yards and two receiving scores since a game since Irving Fryar did it in the 1994 regular season opener while catching passes from Dan Marino. He'll be a hot addition off of the waiver wire heading into Week 7 against the Detroit Lions if he is still available in your fantasy league.

Oct 14 5:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson had a huge day in Miami's 31-28 overtime win over Chicago in Week 6. He caught six passes on nine targets for 155 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed once for -5 yards. Wilson was deadly with the ball in his hands, breaking tackles and juking defenders for much of his yardage. He and Brock Osweiler appeared to be on the same page, and if Osweiler starts again that would be great for Wilson. Even if Tannehill resumes the starting role the Dolphins may make it a priority to get Wilson the ball more after this performance.

From RotoBaller

Oct 14 5:30pm ET

Dolphins' WR Albert Wilson had 6 receptions for 155 yards with two touchdowns for an outstanding 25.8 yards per catch in Sunday's win against the Bears.
