Keenum was the top backup for the Texans most of last season and started two games. He had one touchdown to three interceptions and failed to top 15 fantasy points in either game. He was not a help to fantasy teams. Keenum does well as an NFL backup, though. Keenum has two seasons with 3,500-plus passing yards and 20-plus touchdowns. Keenum moves around the pocket pretty well and has a good arm. He had some accuracy issues earlier in his career but really made strides in that area in recent seasons. He plays very well outside of the pocket and throws a much-improved deep ball. He forces some throws, though, and doesn't do a great job of taking care of the ball.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Keenum can be worth some spot starts when he is starting. He has some big-game ability and success when starting.

From TheHuddle
Houston Texans QB Case Keenum made his second straight start in Week 16 against the Cleveland Browns, but he completed just 11-of-17 passes for 62 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans QB Case Keenum is expected to start Week 16's game against the Cleveland Browns, as a result of QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) having been ruled out.
Fantasy Spin: Stroud will miss his second consecutive game because he has not yet cleared concussion protocol. Keenum led the Texans to an overtime win versus Tennessee in Week 15, throwing for 229 yards and a touchdown, but is not a recommended fantasy option.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans quarterback Case Keenum has been confirmed as the Week 16 starter with C.J. Stroud (concussion) unable to play, according to KPRC's Aaron Wilson. Keenum drew the start over fellow backup Davis Mills last weekend, and while that decision seemed somewhat surprising, it paid off. The veteran led the Texans to an overtime victory, completing 23 passes for 229 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. This week, he'll rank as a fantasy QB3 against the Cleveland Browns' strong defense.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans quarterback Case Keenum is expected to start against the Cleveland Browns in Week 16. Starting quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) is still in the concussion protocol and is reportedly unlikely to play in Week 16. That puts Keenum in line to take on his former team at home in Houston. Keenum started in place of Stroud in Week 15 and completed 23 of his 36 passes for 229 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in an overtime win over the Tennessee Titans. Keenum will not be a recommended fantasy option heading into the semifinal round of the fantasy playoffs.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans quarterback Case Keenum did just enough in the team's 19-16 overtime win against the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. Keenum filled in for the injured C.J. Stroud (concussion) on Sunday and completed 23-of-36 passes for 229 yards and one touchdown with one interception. The veteran's lone touchdown came late in the fourth quarter when he connected with wide receiver Noah Brown for a three-yard score to tie up the game. It remains to be seen if Stroud will clear concussion protocols before next week's game. If he can't, Keenum could be in line for another start against the Cleveland Browns in Week 16.

From TheHuddle
Houston Texans QB Case Keenum is expected to start against the Tennessee Titans in Week 15, according to sources Saturday, Dec. 16.
Fantasy Spin: With C.J. Stroud (concussion) ruled out, Keenum will get the start over Davis Mills. Keenum shouldn't be considered for fantasy purposes but he has enough experience to make Noah Brown a desperation flex option.
