Player Notes
Oct 21 1:43am ET

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery was held to two catches for 38 yards on five targets in Week 7 versus the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Spin: Jeffrey was officially targeted only once in the first half, although he had two others wiped away by penalty. This game marked the first time he played an entire game this season and failed to hit double figures in PPR scoring, but the once-feared downfield threat is averaging career-low 9.7 yards per catch so far. Owners should strongly consider sitting him in Week 8 as he will likely face shadow coverage from Buffalo Bills stud cornerback Tre'Davious White.

From TheHuddle

Oct 21 12:20am ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery made just two catches in Week 7, coming up with 38 yards. He tied for the team lead with five targets, but much like the rest of the Eagles offense, he wasn't able to do much. Jeffery was running as the team's WR1 with DeSean Jackson (abdomen) still on the sideline. The Eagles desperately need Jackson's seam-stretching ability and could have him back for Week 8. Unfortunately, they'll have another tough matchup against a strong Bills Defense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 16 12:40pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery should have another solid performance in Week 7 despite a tough matchup. DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is questionable at best for Sunday and would likely be limited even if he were able to play, making Jeffery once again the top target in the passing game. The Cowboys defend well against the pass, but the Eagles will have to move the ball and Jeffery will likely be the one to do it. He's been solid this season although he hasn't shown a ton of upside. He's settled in as an every-week WR2.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 8:50pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery caught 10 passes in Week 6, gaining 76 yards and scoring a touchdown. Jeffery was faded in many rankings this week as he was taking on the Minnesota Vikings secondary, but he picked up several quick short passes and came down with a three-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Jeffery should be able to maintain his value as a WR2/3 even when DeSean Jackson (abdomen) returns to the starting lineup.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 5:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery caught 10 passes for 76 yards and one touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He was targeted 12 times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Jeffery has caught three touchdowns in his four games this season and appears to be a favorite target for Carson Wentz. He will continue to be a focal point in the passing game and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 4:30pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles' WR Alshon Jeffery had 10 receptions for 76 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's loss in Minnesota.

Oct 9 11:40am ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has a difficult matchup on tap in Week 6. Hitting the road to face a tough Minnesota Vikings Defense, Jeffery is on the WR2/3 border this week. Usually a solid WR2 with some upside, the tough matchup knocks him down a bit. If DeSean Jackson (abdomen) were to return, Jeffery could see a bit more room running intermediate routes, but if Jackson is out and Jeffery operates as the team's WR1, he'd likely be followed around by Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 8:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery posted six receptions for 52 yards on a team-high eight targets in Week 5 against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Spin: It was Jeffery's first game out of three outings this season where he didn't find the end zone, but his catch total and yardage total were highs. It's a start. He remains more of a WR4 or flex fantasy option in leagues with 12 or more teams heading into Week 6 at Minnesota.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 5:50pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery led the Eagles with six catches in Week 5, gaining 52 yards. The Eagles didn't need to throw much, with quarterback Carson Wentz completing just 17 passes. Jeffery did well with the balls thrown to him, and he should have bigger games when the Eagles actually need to make throws on the offensive side. He's a WR2 in most matchups.

From RotoBaller

Oct 2 1:00pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has a good matchup against the New York Jets in Week 5. Jeffery scored a touchdown against a strong Green Bay Packers Defense in Week 4, and now he gets a much softer secondary to fight against in Week 5. In a game the Eagles are favored by almost two touchdowns, the only risk with Jeffery is that the Eagles will abandon the passing game in order to run out the clock early. Jeffery will be a solid WR2 with upside.

From RotoBaller

Sep 27 1:03am ET

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery caught three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Fantasy Spin: Jeffery was targeted a team-high nine times but a combination of tight coverage from Kevin King and off-target throws from Carson Wentz resulted in just three catches. He'll now get a little extra time to get healthy and has weekly WR3 value with some upside.

From TheHuddle

Sep 27 12:20am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Alshon Jeffery scored a touchdown in Week 4. Jeffery missed Week 3 with a calf injury and didn't look fully healthy in this one, but he made three catches, gaining 38 yards. His touchdown came on a six-yard end zone pass from Carson Wentz in the second quarter. With plenty of time to rest before the next Eagles game, Jeffery should be a strong WR2 choice for Week 5.

From RotoBaller

Sep 25 2:23pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles CB Ronald Darby (hamstring), WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) and DT Timmy Jernigan (foot) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25, and have been ruled out for Week 4. RB Corey Clement (shoulder) fully participated in practice but is listed as questionable. WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside (heel), DE Derek Barnett (ankle), OT Andre Dillard (knee), LB Nathan Gerry (calf, knee), LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee), WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) and QB Nate Sudfeld (wrist) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Sep 25 1:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) was removed from the injury report Wednesday, Sept. 25, and is good to go for Week 4.

Fantasy Spin: Jeffery will be a high-end WR3 against the Green Bay Packers Thursday night. DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is out, and Jeffery should be a highlighted target.

From TheHuddle

Sep 25 1:10pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) practiced in full the last two days and has been taken off the final injury report for Thursday night's game against the Packers. Wideout DeSean Jackson (abdomen) missed practice all week and has been ruled out. Jeffery missed Week 3 but will return in a tough matchup against the improved Green Bay defense. He's a little bit more of a risk coming off his injury against a strong defense, making him more of a WR3. Expect three-receiver sets of Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Mack Hollins, with rookie J.J. Arcega-Whiteside likely seeing his snaps limited compared to last week. D-Jax isn't a lock to return for Week 5.

From RotoBaller

Sep 25 11:40am ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) is expected to play on Thursday Night Football in Week 4 and should be a solid option in fantasy lineups. Jeffery missed the second half in Week 2 and was inactive in Week 3, but he was able to practice in full on Tuesday and Wednesday and should be all systems go for Thursday's matchup against the Green Bay Packers. With wide receiver DeSean Jackson (abdomen) expected to miss another game, Jeffery could be one of the prime targets in the end zone for quarterback Carson Wentz. There's some risk involved due to the possibility of re-injury and the ugliness of Thursday Night Football, but Jeffery should be a solid WR2 with touchdown upside.

From RotoBaller

Sep 24 5:13pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles CB Ronald Darby (hamstring), WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) and DT Timmy Jernigan (foot) did not practice Tuesday, Sept. 24. RB Corey Clement (shoulder) and DE Derek Barnett (ankle) were limited. WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside (heel), OT Andre Dillard (knee), LB Nathan Gerry (calf, knee), TE Dallas Goedert (calf), WR Alshon Jeffery (calf), LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee) and QB Nate Sudfeld (wrist) fully participated in practice.

From TheHuddle

Sep 24 4:03pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) fully participated in the team's walkthrough Tuesday, Sept. 24.

From TheHuddle

Sep 24 1:53pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (calf) is expected to play Thursday, Sept. 26, in Week 4.

Fantasy Spin: Jeffery could be in line for a solid workload with DeSean Jackson (groin) likely out. He's a solid WR3 proposition against the Green Bay Packers.

From TheHuddle

Sep 23 11:50pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is optimistic that wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (calf) will be ready for Week 4 on Thursday against the Packers. Jeffery hurt his left calf in the first quarter in Week 2 and sat out the loss on Sunday to the Lions, but he was limited in practice on Monday. DeSean Jackson (groin) is also expected to miss Week 4, but it's looking like Jeffery is closer to a return. With both D-Jax and Jeffery out for most of the last two games, the Eagles have gone with Nelson Agholor, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and Mack Hollins in three-receiver sets. If Jeffery returns this Thursday, he should be returned to starting lineups in most leagues. He could wind up being a game-time decision, however.
