Nov 10 7:03pm ET

The Minnesota Vikings have declared WR Adam Thielen, SS Andrew Sendejo, DL Linval Joseph, CB Trae Waynes, OL Olisaemeka Udoh, C Brett Jones and OG Dru Samia inactive for Week 10.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 6:10pm ET

After removing himself from the Vikings' Week 9 matchup, Thielen's status for this week was cloudy at best. He has officially been ruled out after not practicing on Friday. The hamstring injury that has bothered Thielen since Week 7 has not yet cleared up, and his status moving forward will remain murky until we begin to see positive practice reports. With the Vikings' Week 12 bye coming up, don't be surprised if the team plays things carefully and holds him out in Week 11. In his absence, Stefon Diggs will step in as the unquestioned number one receiver for Kirk Cousins on Sunday night against the Cowboys, who allow the sixth-fewest passing yards per game.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 3:43pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring), DT Linval Joseph (knee) and S Andrew Sendejo (groin) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 8, and have been ruled out for Week 10. CB Trae Waynes (ankle) missed practice and is listed as questionable. DE Stephen Weatherly (groin) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. FB C.J. Ham (ankle), DE Ifeadi Odenigbo (shoulder), DT Shamar Stephen (knee), LB Eric Kendricks (hip) and CB Mike Hughes (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 8 1:53pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) on Friday, Nov. 8, was ruled out of the team's Week 10 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Spin: As expected and at least Thielen owners know ahead of time instead of starting him last week only to see the wideout depart after a few plays. Overall, it will go down as essentially the third straight absence for Thielen, meaning more looks for WRs Bisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell and likely even TEs Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith Jr.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 1:00pm ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) watched practice off to the side for the second straight day on Thursday. Thielen is not expected to play on Sunday night against the Cowboys after he aggravated his hamstring in the Week 9 loss to the Chiefs. There's also a chance the Vikings hold Thielen out next week against the Broncos with their Week 12 bye on the horizon. With Thielen out, Stefon Diggs will be the undisputed top target. He should have more than just one catch like he did last week, but Dallas will likely double team him in the absence of Thielen. Diggs is on the WR1/2 radar for the expected volume alone. Olabisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell will round out three-receiver sets.

From RotoBaller

Nov 7 12:43pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) did not participate in the team's practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

Fantasy Spin: Thielen left the Vikings' Week 9 game early without a catch after re-aggravating his hammy and has missed both of the team's practices this week. If he can't show any progress Friday, it'll be time to move him to the bench and lock another wide receiver into your Week 10 lineup.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 6:13pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 6.

Fantasy Spin: The Vikings said they will not rush Thielen back from the injury, so there is a decent chance that he will miss the Week 10 game. Fantasy players can monitor the situation over the next few days but should have other options available in case he is ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 4:10pm ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) is not practicing on Wednesday. Thielen isn't dealing with a long-term injury -- he could return as soon as Week 11 -- but he's not expected to play on Sunday night against the Cowboys after tweaking his hammy early in the Week 9 loss to the Chiefs. With a bye coming in Week 12, it's entirely possible the Vikes play it safe and hold Thielen out in Week 11 against the Broncos, too. Stefon Diggs will have WR1 upside as long as Thielen is out, while Olabisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell will see increased roles in three-wide sets. Tight ends Kyle Rudolph and rookie Irv Smith Jr. will also be more involved in the passing game against Dallas.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 12:33pm ET

Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) isn't believed to have a long-term injury, according to head coach Mike Zimmer. Zimmer also said Thielen wasn't brought back too soon, and the hamstring just grabbed on him in the game.

Fantasy Spin: Thielen has a rough matchup against the Dallas Cowboys this week. If he's fit to play, he'll be a WR2 in fantasy.

From TheHuddle

Nov 6 11:50am ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen's (hamstring) injury is not considered a "long-term" ailment, according to head coach Mike Zimmer. Zimmer said that Thielen was "not rushed back too soon" when he returned in Week 9, only to feel his hamstring grab on the first series of the game. Fantasy owners need to prepare to be without Thielen this Sunday night against the Cowboys, but he could return in Week 11 before the team's Week 12 bye. The Chiefs held Stefon Diggs to just one catch after Thielen left last week, but Diggs has legitimate WR1 upside with Thielen expected to miss another game. Olabisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell should play in three-receiver sets.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 3:50pm ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen's (hamstring) strained hamstring is no worse after he aggravated it in Week 9 against the Chiefs, but sources say he's unlikely to play in Week 10 on Sunday night against the Cowboys. The Vikings bye is two weeks away and they often tend to err on the side of caution. Thielen played just a handful of snaps last Sunday before being ruled out, which was a tough pill to swallow for owners that started him. It's looking like you'll have to plan to be without him again this Sunday and possibly in Week 11 as well. Stefon Diggs should bounce back from his one-catch performance last week and has WR1 upside, while Olabisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell should round out three-receiver sets if Thielen is indeed out.

From RotoBaller

Nov 5 2:53pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) is unlikely to play against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: The Vikings were expected to take a conservative approach with Thielen, so the news isn't surprising. Although he's coming off a one-catch dud against the Chiefs in Week 9, Stefon Diggs should offer WR1 upside with Thielen sidelined.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 3:30pm ET

Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer won't speculate on when wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) will return. "Whenever the doctor says he's ready to play, he's ready," Zimmer said. Thielen was active in Week 9 against the Chiefs but was targeted just once before aggravating his hamstring injury and sitting out the rest of the game. As a result, he'll be questionable for Sunday night in Week 10 against the Cowboys, and he'll be an extremely risky fantasy commodity for that one after burning his owners in Week 9. Stefon Diggs, Olabisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell worked in three-receiver sets with Thielen sidelined. Diggs was shut down against KC but will have WR1 upside if Thielen misses anymore time. Johnson is the better waiver target over Treadwell, but it's hard to trust either receiver for consistent production if Thielen misses anymore time.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 3:23pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) doesn't have a set return date, according to head coach Mike Zimmer Monday, Nov. 4. 'Whenever the doctor says he's ready to play, he's ready,' Zimmer said.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy managers may need to prepare for Thielen to miss a minimum of one game. The Week 11 Sunday Night Football spot against the Dallas Cowboys provides a little extra time for his recovery, but he played just seven snaps and saw one target last week. WRs Bisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell could be in line for larger roles opposite Stefon Diggs.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 2:03pm ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) left the Week 9 game early because of a hamstring injury and is considered questionable to return.

Fantasy Spin: Thielen was questionable for the game because of a hamstring injury, so he may have aggravated the injury. Fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation to see if he will be able to return. He is a must-start option when he is healthy.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 1:50pm ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) has re-aggravated his injury and is questionable to return in Week 9's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Thielen only lasted a few possessions before being pulled and didn't catch his only target on a bad throw from Kirk Cousins. It looks like Thielen's day is finished - expect an update regarding his injury situation following today's game.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 11:53am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) is active for Week 9's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 11:50am ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) is active for Week 9's contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. Thielen was a limited participant in practice this week and was fully expected to return from his one-game absence. Roll Thielen out as a low-end WR1 in an advantageous matchup, though he's a risky play in daily formats due to the nature of the injury he's coming back from.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 8:53am ET

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) remains optimistic that he will play in Week 9's game versus the Kansas City Chiefs but he will participate in pregame workouts so that the team can be sure that he is not at risk of re-injuring his hamstring, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: If Thielen is active today, he should be viewed as a high-end WR2. However, fantasy owners should have a Plan B available in case he is ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 12:10am ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) is expected to play on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. An active Thielen is obviously a must-start in fantasy leagues, even with there likely being some concern about the hamstring. The Chiefs have done a fine job this year limiting fantasy points to opposing receivers, but Thielen's share of the Vikings offense is simply too great to just ignore him, even in a less than stellar matchup. This also means that Olabisi Johnson is unplayable in all formats now.
