The Philadelphia Eagles have declared OT Lane Johnson, DL Shareef Miller, OG Sua Opeta, DE Derek Barnett, QB Nate Sudfeld, RB Jordan Howard and WR Nelson Agholor inactive for Week 15.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard (shoulder) and wide receiver Nelson Agholor (knee) have been ruled out for Week 15 against the Washington Redskins. Howard was limited all week and is probably closer to a return than Agholor, who logged three DNPs this week. With Howard out, Miles Sanders and Boston Scott will lead the backfield against Washington's 27th-ranked run defense. Already thin at wide receiver, the Eagles will start JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Greg Ward, and Robert Davis. The real winners are tight ends Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert, who will both see more targets against Washington- they've allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to tight ends.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) on Saturday, Dec. 14, was downgraded from questionable to out for Week 15.
Fantasy Spin: New week, same story as Howard is still not cleared for contact and will miss his fifth straight game. In his stead, rookie Miles Sanders (RB2) and Boston Scott (deeper-league flex) will head the Philly backfield once again.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 13, and is listed as questionable for Week 15.
Fantasy Spin: Howard probably will be a game-time decision, so fantasy players will need to check the inactive list for his status. He has missed the last few weeks and probably would only receive a handful of carries if he plays. He can be avoided in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles OT Lane Johnson (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 15 versus the Washington Redskins. WR Nelson Agholor (knee) and DE Derek Barnett (ankle) were also unable to practice all week but are listed as questionable. RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited in practice all week, while CB Ronald Darby (hip) was added to the injury report after being limited in practice Friday, Dec. 13; both players are listed as questionable. CB Jalen Mills (elbow) and LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (concussion) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard (shoulder) is unlikely to play in Week 15 against the Redskins, as there's been no change in his status. Howard has been out since Nov. 3 against the Bears and just hasn't made any progress. He's unlikely to be shut down outright with the Eagles still fighting for a division title, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect much from him to close out the season. Rookie Miles Sanders has handled double-digit carries the last four weeks with Howard sidelined, and you shouldn't expect that to change in a nice matchup against the Redskins this Sunday. Alshon Jeffery (foot) is on Injured Reserve and Nelson Agholor seems unlikely to play against Washington, so Sanders will be used heavily. He has RB2 upside in the fantasy semifinals.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 12.
Fantasy Spin: Howard may be a game-time decision this week since he has not been cleared for contact at this point. Fantasy players may want to use healthier options in their lineups and can keep Howard on the bench.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor (knee), DE Derek Barnett (ankle) and OT Lane Johnson (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 12. RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) and CB Jalen Mills (elbow) were limited. LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (concussion) practiced in full.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard (shoulder) returned to practice with the team on Thursday. He is currently questionable for Week 15 against the Redskins. If he's able to go this week, he could be a sneaky good start against a Redskins Defense allowing almost 135 rushing yards per game. Miles Sanders and Boston Scott have been shouldering the load while Howard has been out the past four games. If Howard returns, he'd likely be one of the team's primary rushers, with Sanders seeing more action in the passing game and Scott being relegated to single-digit touches. Keep an eye on Howard's status through the next few days.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Fantasy Spin: Howard still has not been cleared for contact, so his status for Week 15 is uncertain. Fantasy players should know more later in the week but will need other options available in case Howard misses another game.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. Howard has been close to playing for weeks it seems, but he has yet to be cleared and hasn't seen the field since Nov. 3 against the Bears. If he does return in Week 15 against the Redskins, he could have his workload monitored and limited because of the long layoff, making him more of a risky RB2/3. Rookie Miles Sanders has been the workhorse in Philly's backfield with Howard sidelined, and he'll maintain RB2 upside in a solid matchup this Sunday if Howard misses another game.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) has been declared inactive for the team's Week 14 game.
From TheHuddle
The Philadelphia Eagles have declared DL Shareef Miller, DE Derek Barnett, OG Sua Opeta, RB Jordan Howard, OG Nate Herbig, WR Nelson Agholor and LB Kamu Grugier-Hill inactive for Week 14.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) is not expected to play in the Week 14 game, according to a source.
Fantasy Spin: Miles Sanders should receive most of the work at running back with Howard missing another game and can be a No. 2 running back or flex option in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard won't play on Monday Night Football due to a shoulder injury. This was expected, as Howard still has not been cleared for contact since originally suffering the injury. Miles Sanders will be on the field a whole lot more than most Eagles running backs have been this season, with Jay Ajayi and Boston Scott backing him up.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited in practice Saturday, Dec. 7, and is considered questionable for the game Monday, Dec. 9, against the New York Giants.
Fantasy Spin: Howard hasn't played since Week 9 with rookie RB Miles Sanders handling the bulk of the backfield work in his absence. Sanders has struggled to take advantage of the opportunity and is best used as a flex play.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) had still not been cleared for contact as of Saturday, Dec. 7, and is not expected to play in Week 14, in the estimation of a team beat reporter.
Fantasy Spin: This has turned into a rougher-than-expected injury for Howard, who hasn't played since Week 9. In the meantime, that means more of Jay Ajayi and, in particular, Miles Sanders, who's a solid RB2 play again this week.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 6.
Fantasy Spin: Howard has been a limited participant over the last few weeks but still has not been cleared for contact. The Eagles do not play until Monday Night Football, so fantasy players probably should bench Howard this week because there would be limited options available if he was ruled out.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles WR Nelson Agholor (knee), DE Derek Barnett (ankle) and LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (concussion) were unable to practice for a second straight day on Friday, Dec. 6. RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited for a second straight day.
From TheHuddle
Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 5.
Fantasy Spin: Howard still has not been cleared for contact, which makes his status for Week 14 uncertain. Fantasy players should know more in the next few days but can bench Howard this week even if he is able to play.
