Player Notes
Dec 14 11:10am ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd is a risky option on Sunday when he takes on the Patriots top-ranked pass defense, which is allowing only 25 PPR points a game to receivers. Boyd usually sees the lions share of the Bengals' targets; however, he was out-targeted by Alex Erickson last week, and the two were only one target apart in Week 12 against Pittsburgh. With Boyd likely seeing Stephon Gilmore in coverage, it wouldn't be shocking to see Andy Dalton turn to Erickson and John Ross for targets. Boyd could see a bump in volume during garbage time, but you likely don't want to rely on that with fantasy seasons on the line, which makes Boyd more of a low-end WR3 or WR4 in this matchup.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 5:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd caught five of his six targets for 75 yards during the loss to Cleveland on Sunday. While he was still semi-productive from a fantasy standpoint, he was relegated to a lesser role by Joe Mixon, who had 23 carries for 146 yards and a touchdown. The 25-year-old had a touchdown in each of his last two games coming into Week 14 but failed to find the end zone in this one, and though he always has a shot to score, his outlook is less favorable than usual against a tough Patriots Defense in Week 15.

From RotoBaller

Dec 8 5:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd posted five receptions for 75 yards on six targets in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Spin: Boyd saw his two-game scoring streak end, but it was another five-catch game. He has five grabs in three consecutive games, and at least five receptions in six of his past seven to make his PPR owners smile. He'll face the New England Patriots in Week 15.

From TheHuddle

Dec 7 8:20am ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd has been on a roll as of late and will look to stay on course against Cleveland on Sunday. Boyd racked up 10 catches on 19 targets over his previous two outings, while also adding 160 yards and two touchdowns. John Ross (chest) will be back in the picture after missing some time, but Boyd is still an acceptable option in most fantasy leagues in Week 14, especially if you have nowhere else to turn.

From RotoBaller

Dec 1 7:03pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd ended up with five receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown across 10 targets in Week 13 against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Spin: Boyd followed up his 101-yard, TD effort against the Pittsburgh Steelers with his second trip to the end zone in as many weeks. He is worth a look as a WR4 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 14 at Cleveland.

From TheHuddle

Dec 1 6:00pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd had his second touchdown in as many weeks during the win over the Jets on Sunday, scoring on a 17-yard pass from the returning Andy Dalton late in the first quarter. The 25-year-old saw 10 looks from Dalton in Week 13 and has now received 19 targets over the last two games, while also totaling 10 catches for 160 yards during that span. After recording just one reception for no gain against the Raiders in Week 11, Boyd has returned to form as of late and will attempt to stay on course against the Browns in Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 9:03pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd ended up with five catches, a game-high 101 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fantasy Spin: Boyd had his first 100-yard game since Oct. 6, which was also his last game with a touchdown. He has had some decent fantasy lines with A.J. Green sidelined this season, but his production has been rather inconsistent. Treat him more as a WR3 or flex fantasy play heading into Week 13 against the New York Jets.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 8:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd caught five of nine targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Steelers Sunday. Boyd was vocal this week about his usage and was rewarded with nine targets and his most fantasy points since Week 5. Boyd won't have a ton of scoring opportunities playing in a bad Bengals offense, but he does have a good matchup vs a banged-up Jets secondary next week and should be started in most leagues.

From RotoBaller

Nov 23 6:40am ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd recently voiced his frustration regarding his lack of targets during the Week 11 loss to the Oakland Raiders, a game in which he recorded just one catch for no gain. After meeting with Zac Taylor, the first-year head coach acknowledged that the 25-year-old needed to be more involved moving forward. Without a doubt, Boyd will get extra attention from quarterback Ryan Finley against Pittsburgh on Sunday, but with the rookie struggling with accuracy, Boyd may not be able to fully capitalize on the balls thrown his way, making him a borderline-start in all formats.

From RotoBaller

Nov 21 2:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers Auden Tate (concussion) and Stanley Morgan Jr. missed their second straight practice this week on Thursday. With A.J. Green (ankle) likely to miss another game, Cincy's receiving corps is in dire straights. Expect Tyler Boyd and Alex Erickson to be the top two receivers, but they won't have much fantasy appeal with rookie Ryan Finley looking bad under center the last two games. Rookie Damion Willis would be the No. 3 wideout if both Tate and Morgan are unable to play. This is obviously a situation to avoid at all costs.

From RotoBaller

Nov 18 1:53am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd caught one of his three targets but finished with no yards receiving in Week 11 versus the Oakland Raiders. However, he did add one rush for 10 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Whatever ceiling Boyd was lowered considerably the moment Andy Dalton was benched in favor of Ryan Finley during the team's Week 9 bye. It won't always be this bad for him - he had six receptions for 62 yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10 - but it's also clear he is no longer a must-start. He'll be a dicey WR3 at best in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

From TheHuddle

Nov 17 9:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd was a complete non-factor in Week 11 against the Raiders. He had just one catch in the game but he failed to gain any yards on it. His only positive yardage came on a 10-yard rush, his only rushing attempt in the game. Bengals quarterback Ryan Finley completed only 13 passes in the game, so it's no surprise that Boyd wasn't able to come through with a decent game. Boyd had been mostly consistent all year until this game, so hopefully he can bounce back against the Steelers in Week 12.

From RotoBaller

Nov 16 10:10am ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd continued to receive plenty of attention in Week 10 despite the change at quarterback. The 24-year-old has at least seven targets in each of his last five games, while also logging at least 10 looks in five games this season. With the Raiders allowing some shoddy numbers to opposing wideouts over the last few weeks, look for Boyd, along with Joe Mixon, to be the main contributors offensively in Week 11.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 6:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd recorded six catches for 62 yards during the loss to the Ravens in Week 10. Though it wasn't his best performance, it was an encouraging sign that he received the most targets (eight) from rookie quarterback Ryan Finley, who finished with 167 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Finley relied mostly on the participation of running back Joe Mixon, who had 30 carries on the day, but Boyd should still be involved to a lesser degree moving forward, especially with A.J. Green (ankle) out indefinitely.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 4:43pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd finished with six receptions for 62 yards on eight targets in Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Spin: Boyd has registered three or more catches in all nine of his games this season and he has 55 or more yards in each of the past three. He isn't someone to rely upon regularly for fantasy purposes in standard leagues, but he has been a decent enough WR4 or flex play in PPR play. The Bengals hit the road to face the Raiders in Week 11.

From TheHuddle

Nov 9 2:30am ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd will continue to be the No. 1 option for a team that will still be without A.J. Green (ankle) moving forward. Though Boyd will continue to fight for targets with Auden Tate and Alex Erickson, he received plenty of attention from quarterback Andy Dalton before the team's Week 9 bye. With Ryan Finley now at the helm, the 24-year-old is obviously a risky play against the Ravens, with more being revealed regarding his role at the conclusion of the Week 10 showdown against Baltimore. Nonetheless, he is worth a start, but mostly in deeper PPR formats.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 6:03pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd posted six grabs for 65 yards on nine targets in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Rams in London.

Fantasy Spin: Boyd has recorded at least three receptions in every game this season, and he has 55 or more yards in six of his eight outings. He has been a decent WR3 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues of 12 or more teams, with lesser value in standard play. The Bengals are off in Week 9.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 5:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd had 65 yards on six catches during the loss to the Rams in Week 8. Once again, Boyd yielded production to Alex Erickson, who finished the day with 97 yards on six catches. After catching 10 passes for 123 yards and a score against the Cardinals, the 23-year-old has fizzled as of late, combining for just 130 yards and no scores over the last three contests. With A.J. Green (ankle) expected back after the bye, the sell-high window after his Week 5 performance may have slammed shut for good.

From RotoBaller

Oct 25 10:50am ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd will look to get back on track against the Rams on Sunday. Though he played 71 snaps against the Jaguars in Week 7, while getting 14 targets from quarterback Andy Dalton, the 24-year-old managed to pull in just five catches for 55 yards. The upside is there for Boyd in Week 8, however, so if you are in need of someone to get you through the bye or to come in for injury relief, he is your guy, especially with A.J. Green (ankle) out of the lineup.

From RotoBaller

Oct 21 12:20pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd finished with five receptions for 55 yards against Jacksonville on Sunday. With 14 targets on the day, which was tied with Alex Erickson, who hauled in eight catches for 137 yards, Boyd wasn't able to get anything going against a Jaguars Defense that was all over quarterback Andy Dalton. A.J. Green (ankle) is expected to return within the next week or so, and while it may decrease Boyd's looks, Green's presence back in the lineup may open things up for 24-year-old moving forward.
