Player Notes
Dec 6 7:33pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (knee, thumb) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold has been productive over the last few weeks and posted decent numbers in his last game against the Miami Dolphins. He can be a starter in two-quarterback leagues but can be avoided in standard leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 6 5:23pm ET

New York Jets CB Brian Poole (concussion) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins. S Jamal Adams (ankle), OT Chuma Edoga (knee), S Matthias Farley (rib, ankle) and CB Arthur Maulet (calf) did not take part in practice all week and are listed as doubtful. RB Le'Veon Bell did not practice for a second straight day on Friday, Dec. 6, and is listed as questionable. CB Maurice Canady (quad, illness), TE Ryan Griffin (illness), DL Steve McLendon (knee, hip), LB Paul Worrilow (quad), DL Henry Anderson (shoulder), OT Kelvin Beachum (ankles) and WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) were limited Friday and are also listed as questionable, OG Alex Lewis (elbow), WR Jamison Crowder (knee), QB Sam Darnold (knee, thumb) and QB David Fales (elbow) logged a full practice Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Dec 5 7:23pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (knee, thumb) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 5.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold has been playing well over the last several weeks and threw for 260 yards against the Miami Dolphins earlier this season. He could be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but can be avoided in standard leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 5 10:00am ET

New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold had a miserable game in Cincinnati last Sunday, but will be in the streaming quarterback mix again in Week 14 with a home date against Miami. Darnold was roughed up by the Bengals taking several big hits and was seen limping during the last drive, but he practiced in full on Wednesday and will be good to go Sunday. The Jets offense looked lost last week but before that they scored 34 points in three straight games with Darnold looking much better than he did in his first few games back from illness. Darnold isn't the sexiest option to start in the fantasy playoffs, but he's been playing much better, he only has two turnovers in his last five games, and the Dolphins give up the third-most points to opposing QBs on the season.

From RotoBaller

Dec 4 4:33pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (knee/thumb) practiced in full Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold seemed to be heading toward a strong finish to his sophomore season before he completed just 28 of 48 pass attempts for 239 yards and no touchdowns in the Week 13 loss to the previously winless Cincinnati Bengals. He should have more success against the Miami Dolphins this week and can be used as a low-tier QB1.

From TheHuddle

Dec 2 4:43pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (ribs, knee) is dealing with bruised ribs and knee soreness, but neither injury is considered serious.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold could miss some practice time this week but should be ready to play in Week 14. He will be facing an improving Miami Dolphins defense this week but can still be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 1 8:50pm ET

New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold (foot) was seen limping near the end of the Week 13 loss to the Bengals, but he downplayed his injury. Head coach Adam Gase said, "He just took some shots on the last drive. He kind of got torqued a little bit, but he should be all right." Darnold looked lost behind a terrible offensive line against a previously winless Bengals team. He finished the day 24-for-48 with 239 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions. Darnold does have another nice matchup with the Dolphins on deck for Week 14, but you can't consider him anything more than a low-ceiling QB2 after his stinker against Cincinnati. Check his practice status next week, but it sounds as though Darnold won't miss any time.

From RotoBaller

Dec 1 5:33pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold completed 28-of-48 passes for 239 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in a Week 13 loss against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold had a career-high four touchdown passes at Washington two weeks ago, and seven TD passes with just one interception and two rushing scores over his past three, but he didn't have it today. He'll look to rebound against the visiting Miami Dolphins in Week 15.

From TheHuddle

Dec 1 5:30pm ET

New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold completed just 28 of 48 passes for 239 scoreless yards in a brutal loss to the Bengals Sunday. Darnold didn't turn the ball over for the second straight game, but that's where the positives end on a day the Jets offense put up just six points. Darnold was under duress all afternoon, taking four sacks and being hit several other times playing behind a leaky offensive line. It's understandable if fantasy managers lose faith in Darnold after this game, but the Jets do get Miami at home next week making Darnold a tempting streamer in a great matchup.

From RotoBaller

Nov 30 11:43pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold faces the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13, and the Bengals are allowing the fourth-highest QBR to opponents.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold has taken advantage of favorable matchups the last couple of weeks, and the Jets have scored 34 points in each of their last three games. He should be able to put up another solid line against a porous Cincinnati defense, making him a great streaming option for fantasy owners.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 5:33pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (knee, thumb) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 29, and is not on the injury report for Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold has thrown six touchdowns and one interception over the last two weeks and will have another favorable matchup this week. He should be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but may only be a starting option in very deep standard leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 4:33pm ET

New York Jets OT Chuma Edoga (knee), LB C.J. Mosley (groin) and LB Paul Worrilow (quad) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 13 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. DL Henry Anderson (shoulder), OT Kelvin Beachum (ankles), S Matthias Farley (quad), OG Alex Lewis (elbow), DT Steve McLendon (neck), CB Darryl Roberts (calf) and WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. LB Brandon Copeland (hip, thumb), LB Tarell Basham (knee), WR Braxton Berrios (hamstring, hip), QB Sam Darnold (knee, thumb), QB David Fales (elbow), LB Jordan Jenkins (ankle) and CB Arthur Maulet (calf) practiced in full Friday, Nov. 29, and have been removed from the injury report,

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 2:30pm ET

New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold has been lights out for fantasy owners over the past three weeks and has another favorable matchup this week when the Jets visit the Bengals. Darnold missed three games with mono earlier in the season and struggled in some tough matchups upon his return. Over the last three weeks, however, he's showed the skills that made him a top-three pick in the NFL Draft. Since Week 10, Darnold has completed over 65 percent of his passes for 838 yards and a 7:1 touchdown to interception ratio. He's also added two rushing touchdowns for good measure. Start Darnold with confidence in a great matchup this week against the winless Bengals.

From RotoBaller

Nov 28 5:33pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (knee, thumb) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 28.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold has been playing better over the last few weeks and should have success against the Cincinnati Bengals. He should be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but can be avoided in most standard leagues if fantasy players have better options available.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 3:03pm ET

From TheHuddle

Nov 27 6:03pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (knee, thumb) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold has been playing better over the last few weeks and will have another favorable matchup this week. He should be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but may not be a starting option in standard leagues with the bye weeks over.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 6:20pm ET

New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold completed 20 of 29 passes for 315 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Raiders Sunday. He added 16 yards on four carries and a rushing touchdown. Darnold didn't throw an interception in the game making this the second time in the last three games Darnold hasn't thrown a pick after having nine interceptions in his previous four games. Darnold has been playing much better lately completing 63.3 percent of his passes or better in five straight games and the Jets have two favorable matchups in the next two weeks. He's worth an add as a streaming quarterback for the next two matchups against Cincinnati and Miami.

From RotoBaller

Nov 24 5:13pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold completed 20-of-29 passes for 315 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 12 against the Oakland Raiders and he ran for 16 yards and a touchdown.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold has put up QB1-type numbers over the past two weekends, and he could have another big game against the winless Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 4:53pm ET

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (thumb) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 12.

Fantasy Spin: Darnold is coming off his best game of the season last week but has 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in seven games in 2019. He should be avoided in most leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 4:33pm ET
