Player Notes
Oct 18 12:40pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton played well in the loss to Kansas City on Thursday, finishing the night with 87 yards on six receptions. With the Chiefs Defense smothering Joe Flacco with eight sacks in this one while limiting backfield mates Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman for a combined 71 yards, Sutton played good enough considering how bad things would turn out. He continues to lead the way in the receiving department for the Broncos and will likely continue to get his looks in Week 8 against the Colts. He remains a must-start in all formats for the most part.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 12:03am ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught six of his eight targets for 87 yards in a 30-6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton has been the go-to target for the Broncos all year, and he has topped 60 yards in six of the seven games and topped 80 yards four times. Even with Joe Flacco under center, Sutton can be used as a WR3.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 6:00pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has been the biggest breakout on the Broncos roster this year, as he is continuing to solidify his role as the team's top receiver as Emmanuel Sanders starts to age. Sutton has been a consistent option at a WR2/Flex spot for owners the past few weeks, and owners can expect much of the same in Week 7. Sutton is bound to get his share of targets and should turn that into solid production against a secondary that has been torched by the Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, and Jacksonville Jaguars this year.

From RotoBaller

Oct 14 12:50am ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton continues to see high volume in the Broncos offensive scheme and is becoming the clear number one receiver in the team's system. Life, Death, and Courtland Sutton receiving over seven targets, this narrative stayed true in Week 6 as Sutton had eight balls thrown his way and hauled four in for 76 yards receiving. The young buck hopes to continue his successes next week against the Kansas City Chiefs in a divisional matchup on Thursday night.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 10:23pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught four of his eight targets for 76 yards in a 16-0 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton has now topped 60 receiving yards in five of the six games this year, and he has established himself as the No. 1 option in the Denver passing attack. He's a quality WR3 with WR2 upside.

From TheHuddle

Oct 12 2:00am ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton is looking to stay hot in a Week 6 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. The 2nd year receiver has still yet to receive under seven targets in a game and is consistently the leading weapon for the Broncos passing game. He faces a decent challenge in Week 6 against the Titans but should be able to put up solid numbers with the task at hand.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 8:03pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (leg) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton has been targeted at least seven times in every game this season and has three touchdowns in the last two games. He can be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 5:53pm ET

Denver Broncos CB Bryce Callahan (foot) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 6 against the Tennessee Titans. OT Ja'Wuan James (knee), S Trey Marshall (leg) and DB Duke Dawson (foot) were limited participants in practice all week and are listed as questionable. OG Ronald Leary (non-injury) and WR Emmanuel Sanders (knee) were limited in practice Friday, Oct. 11, but no longer appear on the injury report. LB Justin Hollins (knee), DB Kareem Jackson (hamstring), LB Josey Jewell (hamstring), DL Mike Purcell (knee) and WR Courtland Sutton (leg) fully participated in practice Friday and were also removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 6:43pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (lower leg) was listed as a full participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton has scored three touchdowns over the last three weeks and fantasy managers will want to keep him locked in as a low-end WR2. He has received a total of 38 targets through five games and is a clear favorite of QB Joe Flacco.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 7:03pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (leg) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton is coming off a terrific Week 5 performance and has three touchdowns in the last two games. He has been targeted at least seven times in every game this season and should continue to be a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 6:30pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receivers Courtland Sutton (leg) and Emmanuel Sanders (knee) were both limited in practice on Thursday. Both players should be fine for Week 6 against the Titans unless they suffer a setback in practice this week. Sutton has outproduced Sanders the last couple of weeks and is turning into quarterback Joe Flacco's favorite aerial target. Both receivers should be seen as WR3 options for fantasy owners this Sunday at home, with Sutton having more upside.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 11:03pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught four of his seven targets for 92 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown, in a 20-13 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton is enjoying the breakout season many predicted, and it looks like he can be counted on as a WR2 as the go-to weapon for the Denver passing attack.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 10:40pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had the game-defining play this afternoon that helped his team get their first win of the season. Sutton caught a pass from his quarterback Joe Flacco across the middle of the field and broke two tackles on his way to a 70-yard touchdown. The 2nd-year receiver added three more receptions on the afternoon to total 92 yards on seven targets, all of which were team-highs. Sutton has emerged as Flacco's favorite target to start the season and looks to keep the chemistry going against a stingy Tennessee Titans Defense next week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 5 6:50pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has had a phenomenal start to the 2019 season and after four solid weeks of production, owners should start to trust Sutton in their lineups moving forward. The SMU product has received seven or more targets per game and has proven to be one of Joe Flacco's favorite targets. As his team will consistently be playing from behind, he has the ability to keep up his numbers in Week 5 against a middle of the pack Los Angeles Chargers secondary. Do not hesitate to play Sutton at the flex spot this week if it is called for.

From RotoBaller

Sep 30 3:33am ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton hauled in of his nine targets for 62 yards and two touchdowns in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Spin: The Broncos made it a point to attack Tre Herndon, who was the victim of both scores. Sutton has seen at least seven targets in every game so far, but this contest marked the first time he found the end zone in 2019. There is potential for more games like this moving forward, but the combination of Joe Flacco and Denver's low-scoring offense reduces those odds. He'll be in the WR3 conversation in Week 5 versus the Los Angeles Chargers.

From TheHuddle

Sep 29 11:20pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has continued to carve out a major role in the Broncos offense to start out the 2019 season. Sutton tallied 62 yards on six catches to go alongside two touchdowns against the Jacksonville Jaguars as he hauled in a team-high nine targets. The 2nd-year receiver from SMU is truly starting to break out and has consistently improved on a weekly basis. Owners are salivating at Sutton's production, as he looks to keep things going in Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

From RotoBaller

Sep 29 12:53am ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton is 'oh-so-close' to having a breakout season, according to Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com. 'I think he's an ascending player in this league,' said offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello. 'It's really fun to see where we can take him.'

Fantasy Spin: Sutton still hasn't found the end zone, but he has seen at least seven targets in all three games, topping 80 yards twice. He looks like the go-to target for Joe Flacco and a solid WR3 candidate for fantasy owners.

From TheHuddle

Sep 28 9:10pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has impressed to start his 2019 campaign and has slowly started to make a case for being the WR1 in Denver. Sutton has outperformed teammate Emmanuel Sanders in two of three weeks this season. In Week 3, the SMU product saw the most snaps out of any receiver on the Broncos, being on the field for 89% of plays. He looks to continue this success in Week 4, as Sutton could break into lineups at the flex spot.

From RotoBaller

Sep 22 11:20pm ET

Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton had a team-best receiving performance in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers. Sutton has now been the top receiver on the team two out of the three weeks this season, as the 2nd-year receiver tallied five catches for 83 yards on a team-high eight targets. Owners hope that Sutton can continue to keep the number one receiving spot on the team, as he continues to compete against Emmanuel Sanders on a week-to-week basis, next week being a matchup with a tough Jacksonville secondary.

From RotoBaller

Sep 22 4:43pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton caught five passes for 87 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. He was targeted eight times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Sutton has been targeted at least seven times in each of the first three games and appears to have a solid connection with Joe Flacco. He will have a tough matchup next week but can still be a No. 3 receiver or flex option at the worst.
