Player Notes
Oct 20 7:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon rushed for just two yards on 10 attempts against the Jaguars on Sunday. While he was able to bring in a two-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Andy Dalton, it was a disappointing outing overall for those who were hoping for a turnaround in Week 7. With the Bengals unable to get anything going behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league, Mixon's outlook moving forward doesn't look promising, especially in Week 8 against the Rams Defense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 5:53pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon ran 10 times for just two yards in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars while adding a two-yard touchdown on his only reception.

Fantasy Spin: The touchdown was at least something for fantasy owners, as the yardage total was ugly with a capital U. You're not going to run much when you're winless, so that isn't good for his fantasy prospects, either. The Bengals search for their first win in London in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Rams.

From TheHuddle

Oct 20 4:30pm ET

Bengals' RB Joe Mixon averaged a dreadful 0.2 yards per carry on 10 attempts in Sunday's loss against the Jaguars.

Oct 19 5:00am ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon will look to get on track in Week 7 against the Jaguars. The 23-year-old has been a colossal disappointment this season, rushing for only 252 yards on 74 attempts in addition to 97 yards off of 14 catches, with his only touchdown of the season coming through the air during the Week 3 matchup against Buffalo. With a weak offensive line along with limited options on the receiving end, opposing defenses continue to keep Mixon in check. Don't expect anything different on Sunday.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 6:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon rushed eight times for 10 yards in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens while adding two receptions for 29 yards on three targets.

Fantasy Spin: Mixon has zero 100-yard rushing performances or scores on the ground through six games, while finding the end zone only once through the air. He remains more of a low-end RB2 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 5:20pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon was virtually lifeless in the loss to the Ravens on Sunday. After rushing for a season-high 93 yards on 19 carries, things appeared to be trending in the right direction for the 23-year-old. However, after finishing with just 10 yards on eight attempts while scrounging up a few receptions, fantasy managers were left disappointed once again. With the team struggling, Mixon continues to get no support from the weak Bengals offensive line. He will try to get on track against the Jaguars in Week 7, but at this point, don't hold your breath.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 8:10am ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon had his best performance of the year in Week 5 against Arizona, finishing with a season-high 93 yards on 19 touches. While this was an encouraging sign for the 23-year-old, he still remains without a rushing touchdown. The Ravens Defense has allowed a league-worst seven rushing touchdowns in 2019, but have offset that number by allowing just 90.2 yards per game to opposing runners. Mixon continues to play behind a horrendous offensive line, and unless you have nowhere else to turn, he should be benched until he starts producing.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 7:00pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon recorded a season-high 93 yards off of 19 carries in the loss to Arizona on Sunday. After rushing for 62 yards in Week 4, the third-year man was able to get a little something going against a weak Cardinals Defense. Things will get much more difficult for Mixon in Week 6, however, when the Bengals take on Baltimore, with the Ravens Defense allowing just 93.5 yards to opposing backs so far in 2019.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 4:53pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon rushed 19 times for 93 yards in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals while adding a 16-yard reception on his only target.

Fantasy Spin: Mixon hasn't had a 100-yard rushing game this season, and he hasn't even run for a score in five games. However, his rushing totals have been improving each game, and this was a high in terms of scrimmage yards. He'll look to keep improving in Week 6 at Baltimore. He remains a solid RB2 in most fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 3 4:20pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon will look to get it going on Sunday against Arizona. Playing behind an offensive line that allowed eight sacks to the Steelers in Week 5, the 23-year-old will attempt to gain his first rushing touchdown of the year in addition to improving on his mediocre 3.2 yards per carry. The Cardinals Defense has some work to do, but Mixon will need to do more in Week 5 to convince fantasy managers that he was worth an early-round draft pick. He is a must-start in virtually all formats, nonetheless, but time is running out for Mixon to make some waves in 2019.

From RotoBaller

Oct 1 12:23am ET

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon rushed 15 times for 62 yards in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers while registering four catches for just one yard.

Fantasy Spin: Mixon was busy, but he wasn't going anywhere with the Steelers defense flying around and shutting down the run and the pass. He and the Bengals will look for better results in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.

From TheHuddle

Sep 30 11:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon carried 15 times for 62 yards (4.1 YPC) and hauled in 4-of-5 targets for one yard in Monday's 27-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bengals offense had a really tough night as they were only able to generate 175 total yards and were forced to punt five times. The offensive line, in particular, continues to be a glaring weakness for the team. Mixon is averaging just 2.7 yards per carry and has only one touchdown in 2019, though he has shown improvement by putting up double-digit fantasy totals the past two weeks. Mixon should be viewed as a middle-tier RB2 heading into Week 5's exploitable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

From RotoBaller

Sep 28 8:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is off to an extremely slow start in 2019, but he should bounce back against the Steelers in Week 4. Through the first three games of the season, the Steelers have given up the fourth most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. Opposing running backs have been gaining 128.3 yards per game rushing and 70.3 yards per game receiving against the Steelers, while Pittsburgh is surrendering one rushing touchdown a week. Whether he does it on the ground or in the passing game, Mixon should have a nice Week 4 and should be in your fantasy lineups as a high-end RB2.

From RotoBaller

Sep 22 9:13pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon rushed 15 times for 61 yards and caught two passes for 34 yards and a touchdown in a 21-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 3.

Fantasy Spin: Rushing yards remain tough to come by for Mixon, but it was his best game of the season. This Cincinnati team is going nowhere fast, and volume-based RB2 production is probably the best Mixon owners can hope for at this point.

From TheHuddle

Sep 19 9:30pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon will look to get on track in Buffalo on Sunday. After injuring his ankle during the Week 1 encounter with the 49ers, Mixon has undoubtedly not been at his best, racking up just 27 yards on 17 rushing attempts to go along with just five receptions. Things won't be easy for the 23-year-old, however, as he will be going up against an efficient Bills Defense that has allowed 23.05 fantasy points to opposing backs while allowing opponents to accumulate just 296.5 total yards this season. Nonetheless, Mixon is still a must-start in most fantasy leagues despite his dismal play this season.

From RotoBaller

Sep 16 12:53am ET

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon (ankle) ran for 17 yards on 11 carries and added 10 yards on three catches in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Spin: For those keeping score, Mixon has 27 yards on 17 attempts and 17 yards on five catches through two games. While he deserves credit for playing through a sprained ankle in this contest, the fact of the matter is the offensive line is not helping his cause. Expect more low-end RB2 production at best in Week 3 versus the Buffalo Bills.

From TheHuddle

Sep 15 4:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (ankle) started in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers and simply couldn't get anything going on the ground or in the passing game. Mixon carried the ball 11 times for just 17 yards and added three catches for a mere 10 yards. In fairness to Mixon, he really missed left tackle Cordy Glenn, as several chunk plays were called back because of holding penalties. On the bright side, Mixon made it through the game without aggravating his ankle injury, so he should be set to roll against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3.

From RotoBaller

Sep 15 4:30pm ET

Bengals' RB Joe Mixon averaged a dismal 1.5 yards per carry on 11 attempts in Sunday's loss against the 49ers.

Sep 15 12:13pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon (ankle) is officially active for the team's Week 2 game.

Fantasy Spin: Mixon could receive a few less carries because of the injury but likely will receive most of the work at running back. He can still be a starting running back in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Sep 15 12:00pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (ankle) is active for Week 2 against the 49ers. Mixon does have a good matchup against a Niners team that gave up healthy ground yardage against Tampa in the season opener, but Mixon will have a lot of volatility and could have his snaps limited while playing through his injury. Consider him a risky low-end RB2/high-end RB3/flex, with Giovani Bernard mixing in to spell him. Bernard would've had RB2 upside if Mixon was inactive, but instead he'll revert back to being an unexciting flex option.
