New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson has been held to under 50 yards in six of the last seven games. He should still see a decent amount of targets this week and could be a flex option in some leagues because of the favorable matchup.

Nov 13 9:20pm ET

New York Jets wide receivers Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) and Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) were both limited in practice on Wednesday. Barring a setback this week, both players should be able to play in Week 11 in a nice matchup against the Redskins. Anderson has been a bust this year with quarterback Sam Darnold taking a step back. He has just one touchdown in nine games and has only three catches for 44 yards the last two weeks. Until Darnold displays some chemistry downfield with Anderson, he'll be a boom/bust WR4/5. Thomas had a useful six catches for 89 yards in the Week 10 win, but he's also more of a WR4/5 in this shaky offense.

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson was limited to one catch for 11 yards last week but has been targeted at least five times in three of the last five games. He should have more success against the Washington Redskins and can be a flex option in deeper leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 13 5:10pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday. A "limited" tag for Wednesday's practice usually means the player is in no real danger of missing the game Sunday, but it's a situation to monitor for fantasy managers. Anderson has been a massive disappointment in fantasy this season with only one game over 100 yards and just one touchdown on the season playing in a hapless Jets offense. Assuming the injuries are minor, and Anderson suits up Sunday, he'll be a boom-or-bust flex option in a good matchup with the Redskins.

From RotoBaller

Nov 10 6:33pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught one pass for 11 yards against the New York Giants in Week 10. He was targeted three times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson has been held to under 20 yards in four of his nine games and has 50 yards or more in only two of those games. He appears to be behind Demaryius Thomas and Jamison Crowder in terms of targets and can be benched next week if fantasy players have better options.

From TheHuddle

Nov 10 5:30pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson caught one of three targets for 11 yards in a win over the Giants Sunday. For what it's worth, Anderson did draw a key pass interference penalty in the end zone to set up a Le'Veon Bell touchdown, but in fantasy football that isn't going to move the needle. Anderson has been a monumental disappointment in fantasy only topping 100 yards once in nine games this season with just one touchdown. He has big-play ability, but right now QB Sam Darnold just seems to have a better connection throwing to Jamison Crowder and Demaryius Thomas. Anderson will be a boom-or-bust flex play yet again in Week 11 vs the Redskins.

From RotoBaller

Nov 8 3:10pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson will look to finally get going this season vs the Giants on Sunday. Anderson has just one touchdown and one hundred yard game on the season as the Jets offense has struggled to protect the quarterback and get the ball downfield where Anderson can make plays. As frustrating as Anderson has been for fantasy, he has a great matchup this week vs a Giants secondary that allows the second-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Given there are six teams on bye this week, there are worse options to start in the flex spot than Anderson as he's always a threat to make one big play to have a nice game for fantasy.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 7:40pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson caught two of four targets for 33 scoreless yards in a loss to the Dolphins Sunday. It was a disappointing game for the big-play receiver in a good matchup vs one of the NFL's worst secondaries as the Jets could get nothing going downfield. Anderson had one wide-open opportunity for a long touchdown but quarterback Sam Darnold missed him. Other than that play, Darnold didn't give Anderson many looks as Darnold was under pressure all afternoon and was content to check down to RB Le'Veon Bell and slot receiver Jamison Crowder. Anderson is good when he makes the big play but the Jets simply don't take enough downfield shots for fantasy owners to trust Anderson as more than a boom-or-bust WR3.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 6:23pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught two passes for 33 yards against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9. He was targeted four times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson has been targeted at least six times in three of the last four games but has been held to under 50 yards in five of the last six games. He still has a role in the passing game but may only be a flex option in leagues at this point.

From TheHuddle

Nov 2 10:30am ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has been a major letdown thus far in 2019 with the Jets offense struggling to throw the ball downfield, but that could change in a big way Sunday against the lowly Dolphins. Miami is a top-10 defense in points allowed to opposing wide receivers and have allowed a ton of big plays through the passing game. Anderson has an average depth of target of 13.6 yards and the one game this season he was good for fantasy included a 92-yard catch and run for a touchdown. Anderson has always been a boom-or-bust fantasy option based on his reliance on the big play but should be able to exploit this secondary for a big play or two making him a solid WR2/3 play in fantasy.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 10:23pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught four of his six targets for 43 yards in a 29-15 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Outside of a monster performance in Week 6, Anderson has struggled this season. There's no denying his big-play ability, but he is simply too unreliable for fantasy owners to trust.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 5:20pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson made four catches for 43 scoreless yards in what might be his final game as a member of the Jets. Anderson lead the team with six targets, but has also been the subject of trade rumors ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline amid another lost season for the Jets. Anderson is in the final year of his contract so it would make sense for the one-win Jets to move him to acquire 2020 draft capital if they can find a taker. If Anderson is still on the team, he'll have a great matchup in Miami next Sunday and would be in the WR3 conversation in fantasy.

From RotoBaller

Oct 26 1:43am ET

The Oakland Raiders are one of the team's interested in acquiring New York Jets WR Robby Anderson, according to The Athletic's Connor Hughes.

Fantasy Spin: Oakland makes sense as a destination with injuries and the Antonio Brown fiasco having severely thinned the team's receiving corps. We'll see if the two teams can get together on compensation.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 4:20pm ET

The New York Jets have made it clear to other teams that wide receiver Robby Anderson is available before the Oct. 29 trade deadline for the right price, according to sources. The Jets are looking to add 2020 draft capital in the midst of another lost season. The Eagles had interest in Anderson last year, but the Jets held onto him. Anderson is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after this year and has 17 catches for 266 yards and one touchdown in six games. He's led the team in catches each of the last two seasons and had his breakout in 2017. Anderson is more appealing as a WR3 in fantasy with Sam Darnold back in the fold, although there is still a lot of volatility. If he were to be traded, Jamison Crowder and Demaryius Thomas would become more attractive to fantasy owners.

From RotoBaller

Oct 24 4:13pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson can reportedly be had before the Oct. 29 trade deadline 'for the right price,' according to sources via the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta.

From TheHuddle

Oct 22 12:43am ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson managed just one catch for 10 yards on eight targets in the Week 7 game against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Spin: There was so much hope for Anderson after his big performance against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6, but he and the Jets pass offense was unable to carry over the momentum. They'll look to rebound in Week 8 at Jacksonville.

From TheHuddle

Oct 22 12:00am ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson caught one pass for 10 yards on eight targets in an ugly loss to the Patriots Monday night. Anderson was blanketed by All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore all night and could get nothing going downfield as QB Sam Darnold was under pressure almost every snap. Anderson has had one game this year that was good for fantasy, and that included a 92-yard touchdown. The boom-or-bust nature of Anderson can be frustrating for fantasy, but the Jets schedule gets softer in the coming weeks so Anderson still has plenty of opportunity to make the big plays that he needs to have big fantasy weeks. He should be owned in 12-team leagues and started when he has a good matchup.

From RotoBaller

Oct 18 9:50pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson will look to change his fortunes against the Patriots in a tough matchup Monday. In seven career games against New England, Anderson hasn't scored a touchdown and his 39.5 percent catch rate is by far his lowest mark against any team he's faced more than once. This season, the Patriots are as daunting a matchup as there is in the NFL allowing the fewest fantasy points against to wide receivers. There is always the chance Anderson grabs a long touchdown, like the 92-yard score he had last week, so he has some appeal as a flex in deeper leagues. However, where possible, owners should look to steer clear of Anderson in this matchup.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 9:23pm ET

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson posted five receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Spin: Anderson certainly was glad to see Sam Darnold back under center for the first time since Week 1. He isn't a bad free-agent fantasy pick-up if available, as he has WR4 potential as long as Darnold can stay on the field. The Jets host the Patriots in Week 7 on Monday Night Football.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 8:20pm ET

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson caught five passes for 125 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Cowboys Sunday. It was a badly needed breakout game for Anderson who had only 131 yards total in four games before his huge game today. Anderson made the play of the game hauling in a 92-yard touchdown on the first play of a drive after the Jets stopped Dallas on fourth-and-two deep in the red zone. The 92-yard catch and run was the second-longest touchdown in Jets franchise history and put Anderson's boom-or-bust nature in fantasy on full display. Anderson's big-play ability puts him in the WR3 conversation most weeks, but he'll face another tough matchup next week against an elite Patriots Defense.
