Player Notes
Oct 23 7:13pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle), S JT Gray (ankle) and CB Patrick Robinson (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 23. CB Eli Apple (knee) was limited during practice, while DE Trey Hendrickson (neck) fully participated in practice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 23 6:00pm ET

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle), tight end Jared Cook (ankle) and wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) all missed practice on Wednesday. All three players sat out in Week 7 against the Bears and are off to a bad start this week. The Saints have a bye in Week 9, so they could decide to rest the trio again this weekend. If that's the case, Latavius Murray would be on the RB1/2 borderline for a second straight start in a great matchup against the Cardinals. Josh Hill is the next man up if Cook misses another game, but he doesn't have much fantasy appeal as long as Teddy Bridgewater is at quarterback. Michael Thomas is the only fantasy-relevant receiver in New Orleans until Drew Brees (thumb) makes his return.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 3:13pm ET

The New Orleans Saints have declared RB Alvin Kamara, QB Drew Brees, CB Ken Crawley, WR Tre'Quan Smith, DE Trey Hendrickson, OT Ethan Greenidge and TE Jared Cook inactive for Week 7.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 6:13pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb) and WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 18, and have been ruled out for Week 7. DE Trey Hendrickson (neck) was limited during practice but has been ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Oct 18 4:20pm ET

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle), tight end Jared Cook (ankle) and wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) have all been ruled out for Week 7 against the Bears. Make sure to remove Kamara and Cook from your lineups now. With Kamara sidelined, backup Latavius Murray will be the backfield workhorse and will have RB2 value, albeit in a tough matchup on the road against Chicago. Josh Hill should see starting tight end duties, but he can be avoided in fantasy. No. 1 wideout Michael Thomas should be targeted heavily, but Chicago's superior defense will game plan to slow him down. The Bears Defense, already a weekly top play, just got more attractive in fantasy. Even with Smith out, fantasy owners shouldn't be banking on Ted Ginn.

Oct 17 6:13pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb) and WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Oct. 17. DE Trey Hendrickson (neck) was limited.

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 6:23pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb) and WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 16. DE Trey Hendrickson (neck) was limited during practice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 6:00pm ET

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle, knee), tight end Jared Cook (ankle) and wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) all missed practice on Wednesday. Kamara could miss practice all week with a mild high ankle sprain, but he's still hoping to play in Week 7 against the Bears. In a tough matchup on potentially limited snaps, Kamara is shaping up as a bust if he plays. If he is inactive, backup Latavius Murray would have immediate RB2 upside. Cook has caught touchdowns the last two weeks and is trending up as a TE1/2 if he can return to practice this week. Smith missed last week and is not a fantasy option as long as Teddy Bridgewater remains under center.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 5:00pm ET

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 6 against Jacksonville. Smith re-injured his ankle in Week 5 and missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday this week. The 23-year-old only tallied five receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown and his best game came back in Week 1 when injured quarterback Drew Brees was under center. He's best left out of lineups until Brees returns.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 4:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb), WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) and DE Trey Hendrickson (neck) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and have been ruled out for Week 6.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 5:40pm ET

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) has missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Smith aggravated his ankle in Week 5 and looks unlikely to play in Week 6 against the Jaguars. The second-year wideout is off the fantasy radar at least until Drew Brees (thumb) returns. He has five catches for 75 yards and a score in two games played in 2019. It's really hard to recommend any pass-catcher in fantasy in New Orleans other than Michael Thomas with Bridgewater running the offense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 10 5:03pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb), WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) and DE Trey Hendrickson (neck) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 10. RB Alvin Kamara (ankle) was limited.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 4:23pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb) and WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9. DE Trey Hendrickson (neck) was limited during practice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 4 5:40pm ET

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) practiced in full on Friday and has been removed from the final injury report for Week 5 against the Buccaneers. Smith will return after a two-week absence, but he had just five catches for 75 yards and a touchdown in his two games. You can't take Smith seriously in fantasy with Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback.

From RotoBaller

Oct 4 4:53pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb) and DE Trey Hendrickson (neck) were unable to practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 5 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. DB JT Gray (hand) was limited in practice for a second straight day but no longer appears on the injury report. WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle), C Will Clapp (hand), S Vonn Bell (back), DE Cameron Jordan (calf) and OT Andrus Peat (thigh) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 4, and have been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Sep 29 7:03pm ET

The New Orleans Saints have declared QB Drew Brees, CB Ken Crawley, WR Tre'Quan Smith, OT Ethan Greenidge, S Saquan Hampton, C Will Clapp and DL Mario Edwards Jr. inactive for Week 4.

From TheHuddle

Sep 27 4:10pm ET

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) missed practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 4 against the Cowboys. Smith also missed last week's game. With quarterback Drew Brees (thumb) out and Teddy Bridgewater now running the show, no receiver other than Michael Thomas should be trusted for fantasy lineups. Behind Ted Ginn it's Austin Carr and rookies Deonte Harris and Lil'jordan Humphrey.

From RotoBaller

Sep 27 3:53pm ET

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb), C Will Clapp (hand) and WR Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. DT Sheldon Rankins (Achilles) was a limited participant all week and is listed as questionable. OT Terron Armstead (knee), TE Jared Cook (non-injury), DE Cameron Jordan (non-injury), RB Zach Line (knee), P Thomas Morstead (illness) and OG Larry Warford (shoulder) were full participants in practice Friday, Sept. 27, and were removed from the injury report.
