Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett is coming off the bye with a good matchup awaiting him. The Houston Texans are allowing the 24th most passing yards in the NFL. In the team's last game prior to the bye, Brissett had a quiet game because the team chose to ride running back Marlon Mack against the Kansas City Chiefs. With how the Houston offense has been putting up points, Brissett will likely be given more opportunities to air it out. This gives him his usual safe floor as a QB2 with some upside.

Oct 7 2:53am ET

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett finished 18-of-29 for 151 yards and an interception in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He added six carries for nine yards and a touchdown.

Fantasy Spin: It's the first time Brissett has accounted for fewer than two touchdowns all season, although it was understandable in this contest with the running game doing the heavy lifting. Brissett staked Indianapolis to an early lead with a one-yard TD run in the first quarter before failing to locate Tyrann Mathieu on an interception to end a potential scoring drive midway through the second period. Expect a solid rebound performance in Week 6 versus the Houston Texans.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 11:50pm ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett was expected to have a huge stat line if the team was going to compete against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5. He finished the night 18-of-29 for 151 yards and one interception. He was able to give himself some fantasy relevance by getting into the end zone for the team's lone touchdown on the night. Indianapolis was content to run the ball right at the Chiefs, and they did not need Brissett to carry them on this night.

From RotoBaller

Oct 3 8:30pm ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the NFL this season. In Week 5, against the Kansas City Chiefs, he's a high-end QB2 with QB1 upside. On the year, he's QB 9 in total fantasy points. In two out the Chiefs' four games, they've allowed quarterbacks, including Jacksonville Jaguars rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew, to throw for multiple scores, and Brissett has thrown for at least two touchdowns in each game. If wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is able to play, Brissett is a legitimate QB1 for this week.

Oct 2 9:00am ET

Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard praised the way quarterback Jacoby Brissett has handled everything so far in the wake of Andrew Luck's surprise retirement. "He prepares -- he's always prepared like the starter," Ballard said via team transcripts. "And I remember saying this during Andrew's (Luck's) press conference when he retired that, look, Jacoby won't flinch. And he hasn't flinched. He's played really good football -- he's played winning football for us each and every week." Brissett is the only quarterback in the league to have two or more passing touchdowns each week of the season. He has 911 passing yards, is completing 65.2 percent of his passes and is tied for first with Patrick Mahomes with 10 touchdowns. In a game that should feature plenty of passing against the Chiefs on Sunday night, Brissett is an excellent streaming option with low-end QB1 upside. He has some good matchups coming up down the road, too, so he should seriously be considered as a waiver pickup this week.

Oct 1 1:00pm ET

Colts' QB Jacoby Brissett scored 26.15 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 4 loss against the Raiders. Brissett threw for 265 yards on 24-of-46 with three touchdowns and one interception including a pick-6 . It's the 1st time this season Brissett scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Sep 29 9:33pm ET

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett completed 24 of his 46 passes for 265 yards, three touchdowns and an interceptions and rushed five times for 19 yards in a 31-24 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 4.

Fantasy Spin: It wasn't Brissett's most efficient performance, but he has thrown multiple touchdowns in all four games this year. He's a solid QB2 option.

From TheHuddle

Sep 29 5:00pm ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett had a solid day with 265 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. He also added five carries for 19 yards. On the day, he had 46 passing attempts, and he would have finished with a good bit more yardage if it weren't for a number of drops by the pass catchers on Sunday afternoon. In the majority of scoring formats, he gave you over 20 points on the day, and, considering he was looked at as nothing more than a backup, he's showing that he can be much more than that moving forward.

From RotoBaller

Sep 25 11:20pm ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett has been a pleasant surprise through three weeks. He's currently 15th in the NFL in quarterback points per game at 18.2. In Week 4, he has a chance to be a legitimate QB1. The Colts are playing at home against an Oakland Raiders Defense that has struggled to stop teams through the air. There aren't many players with better matchups this week, and, if your normal starter gives you some doubts this week, Brissett should give you confidence as a fill-in.

From RotoBaller

Sep 22 7:00pm ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett was one completion away from breaking former quarterback Peyton Manning's team record. On the day, he finished 28-of-37 for 310 yards and two touchdowns. Brissett takes care of the ball, and he makes low-risk throws. On a day where running back Marlon Mack was limited, those throws eventually added up. Brissett is unlikely to have nearly 30 completions every week, but he showed this week that he can have QB1 upside in the right circumstances.

From RotoBaller

Sep 22 6:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett completed 28-of-37 passes for 310 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Spin: Andrew who? Well, not really, but the Colts offense hasn't taken the giant step back that a lot of people feared when Luck announced his surprise retirement just before the season. Brissett has been a big reason, and he has been a decent low-end QB1 or must-start QB2 in leagues using two starting signal callers. The Colts will host the Raiders in Week 4.

From TheHuddle

Sep 22 4:30pm ET

Indianapolis' QB Jacoby Brissett passed for 310 yards on 28-of-37 with two touchdowns in Sunday's win against the Falcons.

Sep 21 1:13pm ET

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett has completed 38-of-55 passes for 336 yards, but the Colts rank last in the league as a team with 294 passing yards. Brissett has completed two passes of more than 20 yards -- the fewest among NFL quarterbacks who have made two starts. 'Do we need to get more production out of the passing game? Yeah, we do,' Colts head coach Frank Reich said.

Fantasy Spin: Thanks largely to his five passing TDs, which are tied for fourth in the league, Brissett ranks 17th among fantasy QBs, but more big plays will be needed for Brissett to remain in the QB2 conversation.

Sep 20 4:53pm ET

Indianapolis Colts LB Darius Leonard (concussion) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons. DE Jabaal Sheard (knee) was a limited participant in practice all week and has also been ruled out. RB Marlon Mack (calf) returned to a limited practice Friday, Sept. 20, and is listed as questionable. WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) remained a limited participant in practice Friday and is listed as questionable. RB Jonathan Williams (rib) fully participated in practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. DL Denico Autry (ankle), OT Anthony Castonzo (rest), S Clayton Geathers (rest) and DE Justin Houston (rest) did not practice Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. CB Pierre Desir (knee), DE Al-Quadin Muhammad (shoulder), DE Kemoko Turay (neck), QB Jacoby Brissett (knee) and WR Zach Pascal (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Sep 19 11:20pm ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett has been quietly steady through the first two weeks. In the team's Week 3 matchup, he has another positive matchup. The Atlanta Falcons Defense has a lot of speed, but they haven't been shutting opponents out through the air. Unless Brissett gets an amazing matchup, he'll consistently be a QB2, but he has a lot of upside this week. This game has some shootout potential, and Brissett could benefit as a result.

From RotoBaller

Sep 19 4:53pm ET

Indianapolis Colts LB Darius Leonard (concussion) and RB Marlon Mack (calf) did not participate in practice for a second straight day Thursday, Sept. 19. CB Pierre Desir (knee), WR T.Y. Hilton (quad) and DE Jabaal Sheard (knee) were limited for a second straight day. DE Al-Quadin Muhammad (shoulder), DE Kemoko Turay (neck) and RB Jonathan Williams (rib) were upgraded to full participants. QB Jacoby Brissett (knee) practiced in full for a second straight day.

From TheHuddle

Sep 18 3:53pm ET

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett (knee) was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Fantasy Spin: Brissett has been held below 200 yards passing in each of the first two games of the season. He has thrown five touchdowns against one interception. He's a low-end QB2.

From TheHuddle

Sep 15 5:30pm ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett had a relatively quiet day as he totaled 146 yards on 17-for-28 passing with three touchdowns and one interception. He also added seven carries for 25 yards. Coming into the game, he wasn't expected to bring you a ton of production. If he hadn't lost a fumble, he would have given you 17 points for the week which is solid for your backup quarterback. If he can get into a more consistent rhythm, he can maintain some solid streamer or QB2 value for the season.

From RotoBaller

Sep 12 12:00am ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett had a strong Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers. In Week 2, he's got another decent matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Brissett's offensive weapons have the big-play ability that makes it easier for him to put up points without downfield throws. He doesn't add a ton of value with his legs, but he does a good job of taking care of the ball while putting up decent yardage. In two-quarterback or Superflex leagues, Brissett gives you a safe floor this week.

From RotoBaller

Sep 8 7:20pm ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett had some big shoes to fill in Week 1. He couldn't complete the comeback, though, as they came up short against the Los Angeles Chargers 30-24 in overtime. He had a solid day, though, as he went 21-for-27 for 190 yards and two touchdowns. He also added three carries for nine yards. Against what will likely be one of the better defenses in the league, Brissett took care of the ball while making smart decisions. For a backup or QB2 in fantasy, he had the exact type of day that you're looking for.
