Player Notes
Dec 14 8:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has thrown three touchdowns and two interceptions over his last three games. Mahomes is normally an elite fantasy option every week, but has been slowed down recently. He should bounce back nicely against the Denver Broncos in Week 15. Mahomes completed 10 of 11 passing attempts for 76 yards and one touchdown last time he faced the Broncos in Week 7. However, Mahomes was injured during the game, but was playing very well before that. Fantasy owners should feel confident that Mahomes will bounce back here.

From RotoBaller

Dec 13 5:43pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (hand) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 13, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes has been held to only one touchdown pass in four of the last five games but is still one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL. He should still be a starting option in all fantasy leagues this week.

From TheHuddle

Dec 13 4:23pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs CBs Rashad Fenton (hamstring) and Morris Claiborne (shoulder) were unable to practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 15 versus the Denver Broncos. RB Damien Williams (rib) did not practice Friday, Dec. 13, and is listed as questionable. DE Frank Clark (illness, shoulder) returned to a full practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. LB Darron Lee (non-injury), OG Andrew Wylie (shoulder), OT Eric Fisher (groin), CB Kendall Fuller (thumb), QB Patrick Mahomes (hand), DT Derrick Nnadi (elbow), DE Alex Okafor (ankle) and LB Anthony Hitchens (non-injury) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Dec 12 5:33pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (hand) logged another full practice Thursday, Dec. 12.

Fantasy Spin: There shouldn't be any concern over Mahomes' status for Week 15. He'll remain one of the top fantasy options in a home matchup against the rival Denver Broncos Sunday, Dec. 15.

From TheHuddle

Dec 12 3:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (hand) took snaps under center at practice on Wednesday, but his right hand was pretty swollen on Monday after he injured it in the Week 14 win over the Patriots. Mahomes has been getting more treatment on his hand since the swelling went down earlier this week, including strengthening it as Week 15 against the Broncos approaches. He admitted that it was a scary situation after Sunday, but there is no fracture in the hand, so Mahomes should be fine to play this Sunday. It's not idea if he's at less than 100 percent against a strong Denver secondary, but Mahomes remains a must-start in fantasy if he's playing.

From RotoBaller

Dec 11 8:13pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (hand) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes has been held to only three touchdowns in the last three games but remains one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 9 1:43pm ET

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (hand) did not suffer a broken bone in his hand in Week 14 and is expected to be fine for Week 15 against the Denver Broncos, according to head coach Andy Reid.

Fantasy Spin: Reid did admit to changing up his play-calling in the second half of Week 14 to account for his quarterback's injury, so owners should keep an eye on his practice participation throughout the week. Assuming he gets something close to regular work during the week, Mahomes should be trusted as a high-end QB1 in Week 15.

From TheHuddle

Dec 9 8:43am ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (hand) is having tests done on his right hand Monday, Dec. 9, but he's believed to be OK. He had X-rays after the game, and there is optimism he'll play next week.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes figures to be a top-flight option against the Denver Broncos next week if everything checks out. Whenever the team locks into their playoff spot, though, he's almost a shoo-in to sit out.

From TheHuddle

Dec 9 12:33am ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 26 of his 40 passes for 283 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Fantasy Spin: It was another "meh" performance from Mahomes, who has just one big game statistically since returning from injury -- that came back in Week 10 against the Titans when he threw for 446 yards and three TDs in a loss. He'll look for bigger things next week against a Broncos team that just upset the Texans, which doesn't figure to be an easy afternoon.

From TheHuddle

Dec 8 9:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was held in check by the Patriots during their Week 14 contest. The reigning MVP was held under 300 passing yards for the third straight game. Mahomes completed 26 of 40 passing attempts for 283 yards and one touchdown with one interception in the victory over New England. The Pats defense has been tough to pass against this season, so it's not surprising that Mahomes was slowed down. Fantasy owners can hope for a rebound contest against the average Denver Broncos pass defense in Week 15.

From RotoBaller

Dec 6 8:13pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes will be facing a tough New England Patriots defense this week but should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 6 6:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been underwhelming over the last two games. He's thrown for two touchdowns and one interception over his last two contests. Mahomes had less than 200 passing yards in both of those games and it doesn't get any easier here. He'll have a matchup with the strong Patriots secondary on Sunday. Fantasy owners can't bench Mahomes here, but they shouldn't expect him to go over his projection in Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Dec 6 5:53pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs CB Morris Claiborne (shoulder), CB Rashad Fenton (hamstring) and RB Damien Williams (rib) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 14 versus the New England Patriots. DE Frank Clark (shoulder) and S Jordan Lucas (shoulder, illness) did not practice Friday, Dec. 6, and are listed as questionable. OT Eric Fisher (groin), CB Kendall Fuller (thumb), WR Tyreek Hill (hamstring), QB Patrick Mahomes (knee), DT Derrick Nnadi (elbow) and DE Alex Okafor (ankle) practiced in full all week and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Dec 5 7:33pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 5.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes will be facing one of the top defenses in the NFL this week but should still be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 4 7:53pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes has thrown for under 200 yards in each of the last two games and has only two touchdowns during that span. He will be facing a tough New England Patriots defense this week but can still be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 2 12:33am ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes finished 15-of-29 for a career-low 175 yards and a touchdown in Week 13 against the Oakland Raiders. He also ran three times for 25 more yards and another touchdown.

Fantasy Spin: That's back-to-back games of career-low passing yardage for Mahomes, who really wasn't needed to do much after the Chiefs built a 21-0 first-half lead. Kansas City was able to spend the bulk of the second half running the ball and watch Oakland shoot itself in the foot more often than not. There's a good chance Mahomes will be needed much more in Week 14 when the Chiefs visit the New England Patriots. Even in a difficult matchup like that one, he needs to be viewed as a high-end QB1.

From TheHuddle

Dec 1 8:40pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw for a career low 182 passing yards during this last outing. He was expected to have a big bounce back game here, but ended up throwing for a new career low in passing yards. Mahomes completed 15 of 29 passes for 175 yards and one touchdown in the Week 13 victory over the Raiders. The Chiefs absolutely destroyed the Raiders, so there was a need for Mahomes to pass often. It's been back to back duds for Mahomes and it's not getting any easier. He heads into a Week 14 matchup with the strong Patriots secondary. Fantasy owners can't bench Mahomes, but he's not expected to exceed his projection.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 9:10pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is coming in refreshed and ready for the Week 13 battle with the Oakland Raiders. Mahomes had a sluggish performance his last outing in Week 11, but that was likely a fluke. He should have much more success against the struggling Raiders Defense. That same defense Mahomes torched for 443 passing yards and four touchdowns in Week 2. Fantasy owners should feel very confident with Mahomes at QB this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 5:13pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 29, and is not on the injury report for Week 13.

Fantasy Spin: Mahomes will have all of his receivers available this week and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 4:23pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams (rib) was unable to practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Oakland Raiders. WR Sammy Watkins (illness) was upgraded to a full practice Friday, Nov. 29, and has been removed from the injury report. DT Derrick Nnadi (elbow), TE Blake Bell (ankle), CB Kendall Fuller (thumb), WR Tyreek Hill (hamstring), S Jordan Lucas (shoulder), QB Patrick Mahomes (knee), DE Alex Okafor (ankle) and OT Mitchell Schwartz (knee) participated in full all week and no longer appear on the injury report.
