Player Notes
Nov 20 11:20am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is coming off two straight ineffective running games and could have another lined up for Week 12 against the New England Patriots and their elite defense. Elliott has been able to maintain RB1 status thanks to finding the end zone twice last week, but he's only run for 47 and 45 yards in his last two games. It's been more about the opposing defense game planning around him than about anything Elliott's done wrong, but the Patriots are sure to have a similar plan. Elliott will still have a solid floor in this one, but his ceiling is severely limited and he could be a disappointment if he doesn't find the end zone.

Nov 18 11:10pm ET

Dallas Cowboys right tackle La'el Collins (knee) injured his left knee in the Week 11 win against the Lions, but there's a belief that he can start in Week 12 in the showdown against the Patriots on the road, according to a source. Collins will be monitored throughout the week. One of the best right tackles in the league, the Cowboys will need Collins and the rest of their offensive line to be at their best this Sunday if they want to spring the upset on New England. Collins' presence on game day would be a boost to both Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.

Nov 17 9:33pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott rushed 16 times for 45 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 28 yards and a score in a 35-27 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 11.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott again struggled with efficiency, but the two touchdowns made up for the lack of yards. He is always capable of a breakout performance, but Elliott is best viewed as a volume-based RB2 ahead of a Week 12 meeting with New England.

From TheHuddle

Nov 17 5:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott scored two touchdowns in a Week 11 victory despite not having much room to run the entire afternoon. Elliott ran the ball 16 times, gaining 45 yards and scoring once. He added two catches for 28 more yards and another touchdown. "Zeke" has now gone two straight weeks without seeing much running room, averaging fewer than three yards per carry in both, but if he can score two touchdowns every time, his efficiency won't be much of an issue. There will be more running room in weeks ahead for the talented back.

Nov 15 10:23pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott 'could be in line for a monster day' against the Detroit Lions in Week 11, according to Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com. Elliott rushed for 152 yards and added 88 receiving yards against the Lions last year.

Fantasy Spin: Considering Detroit's run defense might be even worse than it was last season, this is golden opportunity for Elliott to rebound from a horrible Week 10 performance. Expect RB1 production from him this weekend.

From TheHuddle

Nov 13 12:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott should have a strong bounce back week in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions. Elliott was shut down by the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10, running for just 47 yards on 20 carries. The Lions Defense does not offer that kind of performance, so Elliott and the Cowboys offense should have much less trouble getting things going on the ground. Elliott is this week's overall RB3 and is as surefire an RB1 as there is in Week 11.

Nov 11 2:03am ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott carried the ball 20 times for 47 yards during the team's Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Elliott added a pair of receptions for 16 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott never got going Sunday night, and it was only the stubbornness of Jason Garrett and Kellen Moore that gave Elliott so many touches. The last time Zeke had a quiet game (Week 5 against Green Bay) he responded with three straight 100-plus-yard performances -- a streak that ended Sunday night. He'll look to start a new one next Sunday against a Detroit defense that has struggled all year long against the run.

From TheHuddle

Nov 11 12:50am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was held in check by the Minnesota Vikings Defense in Week 10. He ran the ball 20 times for 47 yards, adding two catches for 16 more yards. The Vikings defense planned their game around Elliott and made sure to keep him from doing much damage. His 2.4 yards per carry average was rough, but Elliott should be much more successful next week against the Detroit Lions.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 11:30am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will be facing a tough test in Week 10, as the Cowboys take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football. Elliott has been great this season and is coming off an impressive 139-yard performance where he averaged six yards per carry. That was against the New York Giants though, and the Vikings Defense poses a much greater threat. Elliott will always be a starting option because of the sheer volume of carries he'll receive each week, but his upside is limited in this one. He's more of a mid-range RB1 instead of his usual top-three position.

From RotoBaller

Nov 4 11:43pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott rushed 23 times for 139 yards in Week 9 against the New York Giants on Monday, Nov. 4.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott saw his four-game touchdown streak come to an end, but he has three consecutive 100-yard games. Fantasy owners in PPR leagues might be surprised that he didn't have any catches or targets, his first game without a catch since Nov. 5, 2017. Next up is a visit from the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 11:40pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was excellent on Monday Night Football in Week 9, running the ball 23 times for 139 yards. He was not targeted in the passing game this time around. Elliott's fantasy owners would have loved a touchdown, but no one can complain much about his six yard per carry average. Elliott had no trouble finding holes and pulling off big gains with ease. He's one of the top running back options regardless of his opponent.

From RotoBaller

Oct 30 11:40am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott should have no problem putting up fantasy points in bunches in Week 9. The Cowboys will travel to New Jersey to play on Monday Night Football against the division-rival New York Giants and their very generous defense. Elliott is a top-five option at his position this week with the upside to be the top performer outright. The Cowboys offense should have no issue putting up points and Elliott is a legitimate threat for a multiple-touchdown performance.

From RotoBaller

Oct 22 8:20pm ET

Cowboys' RB Ezekiel Elliott scored 26.70 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 7 win against the Eagles. Elliott ran for 111 yards and caught six passes for 36 yards with one touchdown. It's the 2nd time this season Elliott scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Oct 21 12:53am ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott carried 22 times for 111 yards and a touchdown in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also added six receptions on seven targets for 36 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott has scored in four consecutive games and six of seven since ending his holdout right before the start of the season. If there is one complaint about him to this point, it's that he hasn't been able to hit the big play yet (one run of 20-plus yards on 135 attempts). Nonetheless, his workhorse status and durability continues to make him one of the best players in fantasy. Elliott will get a chance to rest up next week before getting his second look at the New York Giants in Week 9.

From TheHuddle

Oct 21 12:40am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott ran the ball 22 times for 111 yards and a touchdown in Week 7, adding six catches for 36 more yards. Elliott was most of the Cowboys offense in this one, and was more than what they needed against a struggling Eagles team. Elliott ceded eight carries to rookie Tony Pollard once the game was firmly in hand, but he remains one of the highest-volume backs in the league and will continue to be an easy RB1 play every time he takes the field.

From RotoBaller

Oct 20 11:30pm ET

Cowboys' RB Ezekiel Elliott ran for 111 yards on 22 carries with one touchdown in Sunday's win against the Eagles. It was Elliott's 2nd consecutive 100+ yard rushing performance. He has averaged 108 yards rushing in those games.

Oct 16 11:40am ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will face a difficult challenge in Week 7. The Cowboys will host the Philadelphia Eagles in a winner-takes-first-place-for-now battle on Sunday Night Football. The Eagles Defense has essentially been non-existent against the pass but has actually been very strong against the run. Elliott should still put up numbers, especially since he can play a role in the passing game if necessary, but his upside could be a little limited. He's absolutely an RB1 as always, but he's more top-five than top-two for this week.

From RotoBaller

Oct 15 4:25pm ET

Cowboys' RB Ezekiel Elliott scored 26.20 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 6 loss in New York Jets. Elliott ran for 105 yards and caught five passes for 47 yards with one touchdown. It's the 1st time this season Elliott scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Oct 13 9:30pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott played well in a Week 6 loss to the New York Jets. On the ground, he ran the ball 28 times for 105 yards and a touchdown. Through the air, he came up with five catches, gaining 47 yards. Elliott's score was a five-yard run in the fourth quarter. He's back to his pre-holdout usage, as expected, and should be a no-doubt top-three fantasy running back regardless of matchups going forward.

From RotoBaller

Oct 13 8:13pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott rushed 28 times for 105 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the New York Jets and he added five grabs for 47 yards on six targets.

Fantasy Spin: Elliott has posted rushing scores in three straight games and five of six outings overall, and he has registered three 100-yard performances overall this season. He has certainly been doing his part for fantasy owners. The Cowboys host the Eagles in Week 7 on Sunday Night Football.
