New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder posted six catches for 98 yards on nine targets in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Fantasy Spin: Crowder had his most yardage since going for 14 grabs, 17 targets and 99 yards in Week 1. The common denominator here is Sam Darnold, who was back for the first time since that opening game. Crowder is a great addition, especially for fantasy owners in PPR leagues, if available. The Jets host the Patriots in Week 7 on Monday Night Football.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder made six catches for 98 yards in a win over the Cowboys Sunday. Crowder was excited to have starting quarterback Sam Darnold back under center as Crowder had his biggest game since Week 1, the last game Darnold played before being ruled out with mono. In two games with Darnold, Crowder has 20 catches for 197 yards as opposed to the 75 yards total he had in three games with backups starting for New York. Having Darnold back makes Crowder a startable WR3 in fantasy, even with a tough matchup with New England looming next Monday night.
New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder said he is 'excited' to have QB Sam Darnold (illness) back on the field against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. 'Me and him started off with great chemistry, and things were kind of obviously derailed with him being sick or whatnot,' Crowder said.
Fantasy Spin: Crowder and Darnold connected 14 times in Week 1, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see the slot receiver immediately become Darnold's go-to target once again. He has flex potential in PPR formats.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder will look to turn his season around Sunday when he'll reunite with starting quarterback Sam Darnold. Crowder made 14 catches on 17 targets in Week 1 with Darnold on the field, but Crowder has disappointed since then. In three games without Darnold, Crowder has put up only 75 total receiving yards and hasn't had more than four catches in a game. Unfortunately for Crowder, the Jets will face a Dallas secondary that is allowing the fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Crowder is a decent flex in deeper PPR leagues, but owners in shallower leagues should look elsewhere.
New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.
Fantasy Spin: Crowder was added to the injury report Friday but does not appear to be in any danger of missing the game. He should see a decent amount of targets as the slot receiver and can be a possible flex option in deeper leagues.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder made two catches for 10 yards on only three targets in an ugly loss to the Eagles on Sunday. The Jets offense could get nothing going with third-string QB Luke Falk starting behind an offensive line that allowed 10 sacks on the afternoon. Crowder made 14 catches in Week 1 with Sam Darnold (mono) starting, but has done nothing with backups Trevor Siemian and Falk. Darnold wasn't cleared to play in Philadelphia but was on the practice field leading up to Sunday so hopefully, he'll be back on the field in Week 6 vs Dallas. Crowder is a borderline flex option in a tough matchup with the Cowboys, but shouldn't be started in fantasy if Falk is still the starter.
New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder caught two passes for 10 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5. He was targeted three times during the game.
Fantasy Spin: Crowder has been limited to only 75 yards over the last three games and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues until Sam Darnold returns.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder has been quiet the past two weeks with starting quarterback Sam Darnold (mono) out with an illness. Things could change this week, however, as he'll take on an Eagles Defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. In addition to a good matchup, Crowder can return to his slot role assuming Demaryius Thomas is healthy enough to play after the team's bye week. Crowder doesn't have enormous upside with third-string QB Luke Falk starting, but he should see enough targets to warrant a start in fantasy, especially in PPR formats.
New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder caught two passes for 25 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 3. He was targeted five times during the game.
Fantasy Spin: The Jets' passing game did not have much success against the Patriots, so Crowder did not post great numbers. He should he more involved once Sam Darnold returns and can be a flex option in point-per-reception leagues after the bye.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder made two catches for 25 yards Sunday afternoon against the Patriots. The Jets struggled to move the ball all afternoon with Luke Falk making his first career start as they had only 105 net yards against a strong Patriots Defense. Crowder made 14 catches in Week 1 but has only six since as starting QB Sam Darnold (mono) has been sidelined. The Jets will have a bye week next week and hope Darnold will be back for a game at Philadelphia in Week 5. If Darnold plays, Crowder is in the WR3 discussion in fantasy but it will be hard to trust him the Jets continue to trot out backup quarterbacks.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder will look to bounce back Sunday against the Patriots after the Browns held him in check Monday night. Crowder had a whopping 14 catches in Week 1, but was held to just four receptions for 40 yards Monday night and now faces a tough road matchup with third-string QB Luke Falk set to make his first NFL start for New York. The good news for Crowder is All-Pro cornerback Stephon Gilmore should cover Robby Anderson leaving Crowder and running back Le'Veon Bell as the primary short-yardage targets Falk will throw to heavily playing behind a suspect offensive line. Crowder is unlikely to score, but he should see plenty of targets which give him flex appeal in PPR formats.
New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder registered four receptions for 40 yards on six targets in Week 2 against the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 16.
Fantasy Spin: Crowder fell back to Earth after posting 14 grabs, 99 yards and 17 targets in Week 1. He is expected to be working with his third starting quarterback in as many games in Week 3 heading into New England, so his fantasy value is limited to deeper PPR leagues until we see how he jells with Luke Falk over a full game.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder caught four passes for 40 yards on six targets in a 23-3 loss to the Browns Monday night. A week after tying the Jets record for catches in a game Crowder was seldom used tonight with the Jets playing backup quarterbacks and RB Le'Veon Bell getting most of the short targets Crowder thrived on in Week 1. Crowder's fantasy value will depend on who plays QB for the Jets moving forward as he simply didn't have the same connection this week as he did with a healthy Sam Darnold last week. Crowder will be in the WR3/flex mix most weeks but faces a daunting matchup next week against a Patriots Defense that has allowed only three points through two games.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder is a solid start in fantasy despite the news that backup quarterbackTrevor Siemian will start in place of Sam Darnold (illness) on Monday night against the Browns.. Crowder tied a Jets franchise record for catches in a game with 14 in Week 1 and saw a whopping 17 targets. Last time Siemian was a starter for Denver in 2017, he ranked 27th in the league in both air yards and pass-attempt distance, so he'll likely be checking down to Crowder often, especially behind a suspect offensive line. Most of the Jets offensive weapons should be downgraded with Siemian at QB, but fantasy owners can still plug in Crowder as a WR4/flex play with higher upside in PPR formats.
New York Jets WR Jamison Crowder caught 14 passes for 99 yards against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1.
Fantasy Spin: Crowder appears to be a favorite target for Sam Darnold but probably will not be posting that many catches each week. He can be a weekly flex option for fantasy players if he continues to receive a significant amount of targets.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder made a big statement in his first game with the team, catching 14 passes for 99 yards Sunday against the Bills. The Bills No. 1 ranked pass defense from last year took away the outside options but had no answer for Crowder, who consistently got open out of the slot, especially on third down. With starting tight end Chris Herndon IV suspended, Crowder was expected to see plenty of targets and he made the most of them, consistently being open when quarterbackSam Darnold was under pressure. He won't see 17 targets every week, but Crowder seems to be a favorite target of Darnold already and is worth starting in fantasy as a WR3 or flex option, especially in PPR formats.
Jets' WR Jamison Crowder had 14 receptions for 99 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's loss against the Bills.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder is excited to step into the slot role in what should be an improved Jets offense. The slot receiver in coach Adam Gase's offense was good to Jarvis Landry in Miami and while Crowder is no Landry, he will fill a role in the offense that was missing during QB Sam Darnold's rookie season. Darnold had a league-worst completion percentage on throws of 1-10 yards so adding a quick receiver as Crowder should only help the sophomore signal-caller. Crowder should see some extra targets in Week 1 with starting tight end Chris Herndon suspended and number one receiver Robby Anderson being shadowed by Bills top corner Tre'Davious White. Crowder is a solid flex option with higher upside in PPR leagues.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder caught his only target for eight yards in the team's third preseason game Saturday vs New Orleans. Crowder finishes the preseason with three catches for 39 yards and a touchdown in his first year working with Sam Darnold. Crowder battled injuries last season but could be a value on draft day if he can stay healthy. The slot receiver role was productive in Adam Gase offenses in Miami and though Crowder is no Jarvis Landry, he could get plenty of targets early in the season with tight end Chris Herndon suspended. Draft Crowder as a WR3/FLEX with higher upside in PPR formats.
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder had another solid practice as he continues to establish himself as a favorite target of Sam Darnold. Crowder had two catches for 31 yards and a touchdown in the team's first preseason game and has consistently been targeted by Darnold in practice. Crowder is looking to bounce back with his new team after being limited to nine games last season. He's got a great chance to get off to a good start with starting tight end Chris Herndon suspended for the first four games of the season as it sounds like Crowder will get plenty of targets early on.
