Nov 8 2:23am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams caught three passes for 25 yards during the team's 26-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Fantasy Spin: After his career in Oakland started with TDs in his first five games, Williams has now gone back-to-back games without scoring. That has underscored a problem that the scores were hiding: Williams hasn't caught more than three passes in a game since Week 2. Minus steady opportunities, Williams' value is almost entirely dependent on TDs. That's a tough sell as more than a flex or shaky WR3.

From TheHuddle

Nov 7 11:50pm ET

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tyrell Williams didn't exactly get revenge against his former team in Thursday's win over the Chargers as he finished the night with just 25 yards on three catches. The offense as a whole didn't thrive outside of a pair of successful two-minute drills as Los Angeles dominated the time of possession. Williams got involved early with two catches on the Raiders opening drive, but was otherwise silent through the rest of the contest. He did finish in a four-way tie though for the team lead with five targets, including one end zone shot that was overthrown. He'll have a chance to rebound in Week 11 when the winless Bengals come to town.

Nov 6 7:40pm ET

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tyrell Williams will square off against his old Los Angeles Chargers team this week in Thursday's prime time affair. After spending four seasons with the Bolts, the 27-year-old will look to get the best of his former squad in the confines of his new home stadium. The Chargers Defense plays tough against the pass, however, allowing the eighth-fewest fantasy points to the position so far this season. They've only served up one 100-yard receiver on the year, which came in Week 2, and haven't allowed a touchdown to a wideout since Week 7. Williams just snapped his five-game touchdown streak on Sunday, but the team will be sure to give him opportunities to start a new streak in this revenge game. The volume won't be as plentiful as some of his previous efforts this season, making him a TD-dependant WR3 for Week 10.

From RotoBaller

Nov 3 9:43pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams failed to catch a touchdown for the first time this season, finishing with three receptions on four targets for 48 yards in a 31-24 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Williams had scored in each of the first five games, and he has been held below 50 yards in four of his six games this season. He's a touchdown-dependent WR3.

From TheHuddle

Nov 3 8:10pm ET

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tyrell Williams caught three of his four targets for 48 yards in the team's 31-24 Week 9 win over the Lions. It was the first game all season that the 27-year-old didn't find paydirt as negative regression appears to have finally caught up to him. His targets were tied for second on the team, so owners shouldn't feel discouraged with his usage in Sunday's aerial attack. Williams will be back on the WR3 radar in a revenge game against the Chargers this Thursday.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 8:10pm ET

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tyrell Williams got in his first full practice of the week on Friday, putting him on track to suit up this Sunday. Williams has been dealing with a foot injury that caused him to miss two games this season, but he didn't miss a beat in his Week 8 performance and will be startable in fantasy for this week's matchup. He'll look to extend his touchdown streak to six games versus a Detroit Lions secondary that has surrendered 10 TD passes in their last two games, and the ninth-most fantasy points to WRs this season. All-Pro cornerback Darius Slay is currently questionable, and if he's inactive, Williams will feast in this potential shootout. The 27-year-old veteran's high-volume role has cemented him as a WR3 for Week 9, with a ceiling for much more if Slay remains sidelined.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 8:03pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 1, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Williams has caught a touchdown in all five games he has played in this season and posted 91 yards in the last game. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 4:33pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Dwayne Harris (foot) and DE Josh Mauro (groin) did not practice all week but are listed as questionable for Week 9 versus the Detroit Lions. C Rodney Hudson (ankle), OL Andre James (ankle) and S Erik Harris (illness) were upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Nov. 1, and are also listed as questionable. DT P.J. Hall (shoulder) was limited for a second straight day on Friday and is listed as questionable as well. RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) and LB Tahir Whitehead (wrist, shoulder) were limited in practice all week but no longer appear on the injury report. OT Trent Brown (calf), OG Gabe Jackson (knee) and WR Tyrell Williams (foot) practiced in full Friday and have also been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 31 5:23pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot) was upgraded to a full participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 31.

Fantasy Spin: Williams caught three of six targets for 91 yards and found the end zone for the fifth time this season in his return to the lineup in Week 8. He's a must-start due to his high-volume usage and red-zone efficiency.

From TheHuddle

Oct 30 6:43pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Fantasy Spin: Williams returned last week after a multi-week absence and finished with 91 yards and one touchdown. He has caught a touchdown in all five games he has played in this season and can be a low-end No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 28 1:03am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams caught three of his six targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the Houston Texans. In doing so, he tied a franchise record by catching a touchdown in his first five games with the team.

Fantasy Spin: Williams did nothing in the first half, making his final line all the more impressive after a three-week layoff. He did the bulk of his damage on a 46-yard catch-and-run in which he got past former teammate Gareon Conley midway through the third quarter. Obviously, owners can't expect the touchdowns to continue at the rate they've come so far moving forward, but the odds are pretty good he will be worth a start in fantasy again in Week 9 against a struggling Detroit Lions secondary.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 8:30pm ET

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tyrell Williams played for the first time since Week 4 and picked up right where he left off in the team's 27-24 loss to the Texans. He caught three of his six targets for a team-high 91 yards while extending his touchdown streak to five with a 46-yard score in the third quarter. After battling a foot injury for the past month, Williams looked healthy in this one, although he failed to secure a catch late in the fourth quarter which would have extended a drive to tie the ball game. Owners should roll out Williams with confidence as a WR3 in Week 9 when the Lions susceptible defense comes to town.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 3:23pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot) is officially active for the team's Week 8 game.

Fantasy Spin: Williams returns to the lineup after missing the last few games because of the injury. He may have a favorable matchup this week because of the injuries in the Houston Texans secondary and can be at least a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 27 8:53am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot) is expected to play in Week 8's game against the Houston Texans, according to head coach Jon Gruden.

Fantasy Spin: Williams was listed as questionable on the injury report after being a limited practice participant throughout the week. He was an integral part of the Oakland passing game prior to getting injured, catching a touchdown pass in each of his first four games, and is worthy of consideration as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 if he is active.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 7:33pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 25, and is listed as questionable for Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Williams has missed the last few games but appears to have a chance to play in Week 8. He played well earlier in the season and can be a No. 3 fantasy receiver or flex option if he is able to play.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 4:23pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) was upgraded to a limited practice while WR Tyrell Williams (foot) remained a limited participant Friday, Oct. 25; both players are listed as questionable for Week 8 against the Houston Texans. OT Trent Brown (calf) was upgraded to a full practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. WR Dwayne Harris (ankle), C Rodney Hudson (ankle), OG Gabe Jackson (knee), DE Arden Key (knee) and RB Jalen Richard (ankle) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 2:13pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot) is practicing Friday, Oct. 25, and looks he'll be able to play Week 8, according to a team beat reporter.

Fantasy Spin: Williams has caught a TD pass in all four games he played prior to his injury and would be a WR2 consideration if active Sunday in Houston.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 10:10pm ET

Oakland Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Olson said that wide receiver Tyrell Williams (foot) "looked good yesterday and followed it up with another good day today. So, we're excited to get him back." It sounds like the Raiders expect Williams to return this Sunday against the Texans for the first time since Week 4. The first-year Raider has been dealing with plantar fasciitis, so he's not a guarantee to be effective in his first game back. Williams does have four touchdowns in four games played, but don't let that distract you from the fact that he hasn't had over seven targets in a game and hasn't gone over 46 yards other than a 105-yard Week 1. He'll be a low-upside WR3 despite the good matchup if he returns. Tight end Darren Waller remains Oakland's top pass-catcher.

From RotoBaller

Oct 24 5:13pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot) remained limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 24.

Fantasy Spin: Williams hasn't played since Week 4. He started the year with a touchdown in each of the first four weeks, and he'll immediately return to a high-volume workload once he returns to the field. He'll need to be reinserted into lineups right away.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 2:43pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Tyrell Williams (foot) is participating in the team's padded practice Thursday, Oct. 24.

Fantasy Spin: Things are looking up with two straight practices for Williams, who hasn't played since Week 4. We'll now have to see if Friday brings more clarity.
