Cincinnati Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap (knee), WR A.J. Green (ankle), CB William Jackson III (shoulder), CB Dre Kirkpatrick (knee), DE Carl Lawson (hamstring), OG John Miller (groin), OT Andre Smith (ankle) and OT Cordy Glenn (non-injury) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 17. S Shawn Williams (thigh) was limited. TE Tyler Eifert (rest), DT Geno Atkins (rest) and DT Ryan Glasgow (thigh) each logged a full practice.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 2:20pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (ankle) said he still has "a little ways to go." He hasn't practiced this week and isn't expected to make his season debut in Week 7 against the Jaguars. With Green out at least another week, Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate will remain the team's top two receivers. Against a Jaguars team now without cornerback Jalen Ramsey, Boyd has WR1 upside in a great bounce-back spot this Sunday. Tate will have flex appeal for those hurting at the position or in need of a body because of bye weeks. Continue to stash Green everywhere. He'll be Cincy's top wideout whenever he returns.

Oct 17 1:33pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) will not practice again Thursday, Oct. 17, and told reporters he still has a 'little ways to go' before he can return to full action. One team beat reporter says he doesn't expect him to play in Week 7.

Fantasy Spin: If you've held on to Green for this long, what's another week or two? The tough part is that Green was doing enough that he wasn't eligible for fantasy IR slots early in the week and now takes up a roster spot.

From TheHuddle

Oct 17 1:20pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (ankle) will not practice again on Thursday. The Bengals aren't rushing their No. 1 receiver back, and he's highly unlikely to play in Week 7 against the Jaguars. With Cincy's bye coming in Week 9, it's possible that Green doesn't make his season debut until Week 10 against the Ravens. The Bengals (0-6) have no reason to rush the veteran at this point in a lost season. With Green still sidelined, Tyler Boyd will have WR1 upside this weekend against a Jaguars Defense that just traded their top cornerback in Jalen Ramsey. It's a great week for Boyd to bounce back from his clunker in Week 6. Auden Tate also has flex appeal at home in this matchup.

From RotoBaller

Oct 16 4:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) remained sidelined at practice Wednesday, Oct. 16.

From TheHuddle

Oct 16 2:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (ankle) is not going through warmups at practice on Wednesday. Head coach Zac Taylor said the team will continue to evaluate Green and aren't making any predictions about his status for Week 7 against the Jaguars. Green has yet to make his season debut in 2019, but he should return to No. 1 receiver duties whenever he's cleared, pushing Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate to the No. 2 and 3 options, respectively. Boyd was shut down in Week 6 but should bounce back as a WR2 against Jacksonville if cornerback Jalen Ramsey (back) remains sidelined. Alex Erickson has been running as the team's No. 3 wideout with John Ross (shoulder) out.

From RotoBaller

Oct 14 3:53pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) continues to make progress from his preseason ankle injury, but head coach Zac Taylor offered only a 'we'll see' when asked about Green's potential availability for Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Spin: While there is always a chance the Bengals could hold him out until after the Week 9 bye in what is quickly becoming a lost season, there is definitely some incentive for him to give him some time to knock off the rust. There is also no question Cincinnati's offense needs Green, if only because Tyler Boyd has been held in check in three of the last four games. Although the second-half schedule is not particularly favorable for Green, he remains a nice buy-low candidate - albeit with obvious injury risk.

From TheHuddle

Oct 13 11:43am ET

The Cincinnati Bengals have declared WR A.J. Green, DL Carlos Dunlap, DL Kerry Wynn, OT Andre Smith, QB Jacob Dolegala, OT Cordy Glenn and DT Ryan Glasgow inactive for Week 6.

From TheHuddle

Oct 12 2:03am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) sprinted on Wednesday, Oct. 9, which was the first time he was able to do that since getting injured. Green has already been ruled out for Week 6, but he's hoping to return for Week 7, according to The Athletic's Jay Morrison.

Fantasy Spin: While the season is already all but over for the Bengals, Green's return could be a big boost to the offense and fantasy owners. Check your waiver wire ASAP just in case someone got impatient and jettisoned the perennial Pro Bowl selection.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 4:03pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals DT Ryan Glasgow (thigh), OT Andre Smith (ankle), DE Kerry Wynn (concussion) and DE Carlos Dunlap (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and have been ruled out for Week 6. WR A.J. Green (ankle) and OT Cordy Glenn (concussion) were limited during practice but have been ruled out. S Shawn Williams (thigh) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. WR Alex Erickson (concussion), OG Mike Jordan (ankle), OG John Miller (groin), LB Nick Vigil (ankle) and PK Randy Bullock (back) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 11 2:03pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) on Friday, Oct. 11, was officially ruled out of Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: There's now light at the end of the tunnel with Green returning to limited practice participation this week, but he's likely going to need another week or two on your bench/IR slot before he returns to action.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 5:03pm ET

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) was officially listed as limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

Fantasy Spin: Green probably will not be able to play in Week 6 but could return in the next week or two. Fantasy players should continue to stash Green on the bench until he is ready to play.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 4:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said the team isn't going to trade wide receiver A.J. Green (ankle). Green is due for a contract extension, so the Bengals seem to prefer re-signing the veteran before trading him this year. He has yet to play in 2019 because of an ankle injury, but he was limited in practice on Thursday for the first time since late July. Green is still doubtful to play in Week 6 against the Ravens, but he might be a candidate to make his season debut in Week 7. Until that moment, Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate will continue to be Cincy's primary pass-catchers. Green should remain stashed on benches for now in all leagues.

From RotoBaller

Oct 10 4:33pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green will not be traded before the trade deadline, according to head coach Zac Taylor.

Fantasy Spin: Green has missed every game this season but may return to the lineup in the near future. Green is one of the better receivers in the NFL when he is healthy and will be a weekly starting fantasy option no matter where he plays.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 2:43pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) is expected to practice on a 'very limited' basis Thursday, Oct. 10.

Fantasy Spin: ESPN's Ben Baby posted a video on social media of Green going through some position drills, marking the first time the receiver has participated in football activities since getting hurt in late July. Expect him to be ruled out for Week 6 versus the Baltimore Ravens on Friday, but today's practice at least opens up the possibility he can play no later than Week 8.

From TheHuddle

Oct 10 2:20pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (ankle) is expected to be limited in practice on Thursday for the first time since July 27. Finally some progress from Green, although he's still highly unlikely to make his season debut in Week 6 against the Ravens this Sunday. Green needs to be stashed in all leagues, as he'll be the team's No. 1 receiver when he returns. As things currently stand, it's Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate as the top two wideouts, with Alex Erickson and rookie Damion Willis battling for third duties. Boyd has become a must-start, while Tate has flex appeal in a good matchup with Baltimore this weekend.

From RotoBaller

Oct 10 12:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) isn't lobbying for a trade, but he said he is ready in case he's dealt before the Oct. 29 trade deadline. 'I'm prepared for anything,' Green recently told Bengals.com. 'A trade's not going to change who I am. I'm still going to play. I'm still going to be A.J.'

Fantasy Spin: Green has yet to play this season because of a preseason ankle injury and likely remains a few weeks away from suiting up, but with the Bengals off to an 0-5 start and starting to take a longer-term view, trading Green is certainly on the table. But like the wide receiver, the fantasy GMs who have held on to him this long are going to have to continue to be patient and see what develops.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 4:03pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals DT Ryan Glasgow (thigh), WR A.J. Green (ankle), OT Andre Smith (ankle), S Shawn Williams (thigh) and DE Kerry Wynn (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Oct. 9. WR Alex Erickson (concussion), OT Cordy Glenn (concussion), G Mike Jordan (ankle), G John Miller (groin) and LB Nick Vigil (ankle) were limited participants. PK Randy Bullock (back) was a full participant.

From TheHuddle

Oct 7 3:53pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) will not practice again this week or play in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, according to head coach Zac Taylor.

Fantasy Spin: At this point, fantasy owners might as well continue stashing him if they've waited this long. Green told reporters a few weeks ago the initial timeline on his injury was overly optimistic, but it seems reasonable to believe he'll be able to start practicing within the next week or two since he suffered the injury in late July. Then again, there may not be a ton of motivation for him to play given the Bengals' record (0-5) without a new contract.
