Nov 25 2:20pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay did very little on Sunday afternoon in Buffalo against a stout Bills Defense. Lindsay got 13 attempts and converted those looks to 67 yards on the afternoon. The 2nd-year back has started to struggle in recent weeks, but the silver lining is that he is starting to gain a majority share in the backfield compared to his teammate Royce Freeman. With a favorable matchup, Lindsay may be a weekly play, but the Broncos rushing game is starting to give reason to worry for Lindsay owners.

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (foot, wrist) was limited in practice on Wednesday. Barring a setback in practice later this week, Lindsay will be good to go for Week 12 against the Bills. The second-year back has mostly been a disappointment in 2019 while sharing backfield work with Royce Freeman in an offense that doesn't score many points, but Denver proved last week that they plan on giving more work to Lindsay to close out the season. The 25-year-old had his most carries (16) since Sept. 22 against the Packers. He's the better fantasy back in Denver's backfield and will have low-end RB2 appeal this weekend.

Nov 18 2:20pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay struggled against the Minnesota Vikings run defense, posting disappointing numbers for his fantasy owners. The 2nd-year back had 16 attempts on the afternoon but only managed 67 yards, with eight yards added in the receiving game. Things don't lighten up for Lindsay, as he faces a stout Buffalo Bills Defense next week.

Nov 17 12:10pm ET

The Denver Broncos are expected to ride running back Phillip Lindsay more in the backfield over Royce Freeman in Week 11 against the Vikings on the road. Lindsay and Freeman have been in a near-even timeshare for most of the season, which has really given Lindsay owners headaches after his breakout rookie season in 2018. But Freeman had just 15 yards on five carries in the Week 9 win over the Browns, and it sounds as though Denver wants to get Lindsay more involved this week against a tough Minnesota run defense. Lindsay is the back to own, and he'll have more RB2 upside this week, although Denver's offense could struggle with Brandon Allen making his second start at quarterback.

Nov 16 12:50pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay compiled 92 yards and a touchdown despite receiving just nine carries in Week 9 against the Browns. The 25-year-old, who has five touchdowns on the year, continues to be relegated by the timeshare with fellow back Royce Freeman. Nonetheless, he is a sufficient option in deeper formats, but don't expect guaranteed results against the Vikings in Week 11.

Nov 4 4:10pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay had an efficient afternoon against the Browns on Sunday, making the most of the few reps he saw. The 2nd-year back took nine carries for 92 yards, as well as finding the end zone once during the contest. Lindsay has slowly started to change the script for what his 2019 season will be after a slow start, and this game was a statement of how efficient the young back can truly be. Lindsay and company have a week break before returning to the field in Week 11.

Oct 30 6:50pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (wrist) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. The Broncos are likely just giving Lindsay a breather as we approach the second half of the season, but this injury is worth watching after the 2018 breakout had offseason wrist surgery. He's been a disappointment so far in 2019 while splitting the backfield work almost evenly with Royce Freeman. Freeman has also vultured touchdowns the last two weeks. Cleveland's run defense has been suspect this year, though, so Lindsay should be seen as an RB2 this weekend with a chance to return to paydirt. Expect Denver to lean more on their ground game with Brandon Allen now taking over for Joe Flacco (neck) under center.

Oct 27 9:10pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay made his living this week from snagging catches out of the backfield, something that he has not done much of this season. Lindsay has been the feature back running the ball this year for the Broncos with teammate Royce Freeman handling most of the pass-catching duties. However, Lindsay snuck in five catches for 17 yards to go alongside 59 yards on the ground in Week 8 against the Colts. Owners will be thrilled if Lindsay can continue to find production in the passing game to go alongside his consistent rushing production, especially in PPR settings.

Oct 26 11:40pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay is coming off of a disappointing Week 7 performance against the Chiefs and the road does not lighten up as he looks to bounce back against a stout Indianapolis Colts Defense. Lindsay has continued to prove that he has the most fantasy value out of the Denver backfield, but the offense may take a dip moving forward with the loss of one of the team's top weapons, Emmanuel Sanders, over this last week. Keep an eye on if this move affects the offensive production of the team negatively but in the meantime approach Lindsay as an RB2/Flex this week. However, if the Colts scare you a great bit, feel free to bench him for alternatives.

Oct 18 12:30pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillips Lindsay couldn't get anything going against a Chiefs Defense that stepped in the wake of the injury to quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is expected to miss some time after suffering a knee injury in the second quarter. After accumulating four touchdowns over his last four games, Lindsay finished with just 36 yards on 11 carries in this one. Though Royce Freeman managed to rush for a touchdown, expect these two to continue to split carries, with a slight edge going to Lindsay moving forward.

Oct 17 5:40pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay is starting to build an impressive log of games to start the year and he looks to keep the ball rolling against one of the league's worst run defenses on Thursday night. The Chiefs have been abysmal against the run, which should make Lindsay owners salivate as he has a great chance to break quite a few loose to rack up some major yardage. The sophomore back should be starting in most leagues for Week 7.

Oct 13 8:00pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay continued his recent hot streak on Sunday afternoon as he posted a solid game against the Tennessee Titans. The 2nd-year running back totaled 75 yards on the afternoon, most coming from the running game. He also managed to find the end zone once during the game. Lindsay has now posted over ten points in all but one game this year, in a PPR setting, and is the clear number one fantasy back in Denver. He looks to keep the hot hand next week in a divisional battle against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Oct 12 12:40am ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay has started to prove doubters wrong as he is slowly putting together a strong 2019 season. Lindsay continues to outproduce teammate Royce Freeman, although Freeman is constantly stealing reps from Lindsay out of the backfield. The sophomore back Lindsay faces a stout Tennessee Titans Defense but hopes to still put up flex numbers in his Week 6 matchup.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 12:20am ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay was the focal point of the Broncos offense as they got their first win of the season against the Los Angeles Chargers. Lindsay saw solid production out of the backfield, tallying 114 yards and a touchdown on 15 rushing attempts. The feature back also played a role in the passing game, hauling in all four of his targets for 33 yards. Lindsay had one of his best performances to date and shined relative to teammate Royce Freeman who had similar volume to Lindsay. The 2nd-year back has a tough Week 6 matchup against a strong Tennessee Titans Defense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 7:30pm ET

Broncos' RB Phillip Lindsay ran for 114 yards on 15 carries with one touchdown in Sunday's win in Los Angeles Chargers.

Oct 5 5:40pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay saw his worst game of the season last week against a stout Jacksonville Jaguars run defense. His team played from behind, and thus relied heavily on the passing game which may become a trend this season. The road does not get easier for Lindsay as he lines up against a strong Los Angeles Chargers rush defense who looks to once again make the Broncos offense play from behind in Week 5. To add fuel to the fire for Lindsay, he was significantly out-snapped by teammate Royce Freeman who also received a bulk of the targets out of the backfield last week. Tread lightly with Lindsay moving forward as the situation around him does not lend to high production for the sophomore back.

From RotoBaller

Sep 29 10:30pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay had a disappointing game on Sunday afternoon, as the entire run game struggled against a stout Jacksonville defensive line. Lindsay was the feature back for the offense for the second week in a row, as he led the team with nine carries for an efficient 53 yards. The sophomore back had little impact in the passing game and failed to find the end zone, accumulating an abysmal stat-line on the day. Lindsay and the team look to rebound in the running game in a divisional matchup against the Chargers next week.

From RotoBaller

Sep 28 8:00pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay posted a strong performance in Week 3, having the biggest game from a Denver running back this year. Lindsay saw 56% snap count usage, compared to his teammate Royce Freeman's 49% last week. This is one of the bigger gaps between the two in recent weeks, and Lindsay looks to keep up the high volume against a sub-par Jacksonville Jaguars rush defense, as Lindsay is a flex play in PPR this week.

From RotoBaller

Sep 24 1:00pm ET

Broncos' RB Phillip Lindsay scored 29.00 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 3 loss in Green Bay. Lindsay ran for 81 yards and caught four passes for 49 yards with two touchdowns.

Sep 22 11:10pm ET

Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay pleased fantasy owners that gave him an opportunity in Week 3, as he managed to score two touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers. The two touchdowns were the first of the season for Lindsay, who continued to split time with teammate Royce Freeman. Lindsay got more reps than Freeman, as Lindsay had 21 carries for 81 yards compared to Freeman's 15 carries. Lindsay hopes to continue to have higher usage in Week 4 as the Broncos host the Jacksonville Jaguars.
