Player Notes
Nov 12 3:10am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson got off to a slow start on Monday night, but when push came to shove, he continued to be the bane of 49ers fans everywhere. Wilson ended the evening with 232 yards passing, a touchdown, and an interception, but his clutch moments in the second half were truly the important part of the performance. Wilson, like many of the offensive players on the field, fumbled and made some poor decisions on third down, but a couple unbelievable throws and a critical 18-yard run in overtime helped seal San Francisco's first loss of the season. Wilson remains magnificent.

Nov 12 12:23am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 24-of-34 passes for 232 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers and he added six runs for 53 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson threw what appeared to be a critical interception in overtime, but his defense got him the ball back for the game-winning drive for a field goal with zeroes on the clock. The Seahawks have two weeks to recover before Sunday's Week 12 game at Philadelphia. That will give his top WR Tyler Lockett (leg) extra time to heal, too.

From TheHuddle

Nov 9 2:50pm ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is currently the front-runner for the MVP award, but he's about to face his hardest matchup of the season. Wilson will be facing the stingiest defense in the NFC on the road when he goes against San Francisco in Santa Clara on Monday night. Wilson has been nearly unstoppable this year, but the 49ers Defense is allowing a measly 8.22 fantasy points on average to opposing quarterbacks. They got touched up a little bit by the Cardinals last week, so there's a bit of hope, but this week's performance is mostly going to ride on how magical Wilson can truly be. Fantasy owners can't avoid starting an MVP candidate without a heck of a Plan B, but those who do roll with Wilson will need to keep their fingers crossed.

From RotoBaller

Nov 9 2:43pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson faces the 8-0 San Francisco 49ers in Week 10. In his career during the regular season, Wilson is 5-0 against teams eight games over. 500 with 12 touchdowns and no interceptions in those contests.

Fantasy Spin: The 49ers have surrendered the ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season, but they haven't exactly faced a murderer's row of opposing QBs. Don't expect an elite outing for Wilson, but don't shy away from starting him either.

From TheHuddle

Nov 4 1:30am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson dropped bombs on the Bucs on Sunday as he led Seattle to the overtime victory. Wilson completed 67.4% of his passes for 378 yards and five touchdowns as he took down Tampa Bay in overtime. Wilson has now thrown 22 touchdowns and just one interception while running for three touchdowns as well. He's the leading candidate for the MVP this season, and he's carried Seattle to a 7-2 record. He'll have a tough matchup next week, but it's hard to argue with his continued success. Wilson now has a 118.2 passer rating on the year, and he's well on his way to being one of the most valuable fantasy players of the season.

Nov 4 12:23am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson finished 29-of-43 for 378 yards and five touchdowns in Week 9 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wilson also added a 21-yard run on his only carry.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson is capable of performances like this when offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer is willing to abandon his run-first philosophy and allows his quarterback to take the game over. This week, it only made sense to put the game in Wilson's hands as the Buccaneers have proven to be very accommodating to opposing quarterbacks. The level of difficulty gets a bit tougher in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers, but Wilson will be an obvious must-start.

Nov 3 12:30pm ET

The Seattle Seahawks were doing their due diligence on free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown this week before they claimed wide receiver Josh Gordon on waivers on Friday, according to league sources. Quarterback Russell Wilson was even pushing the team to sign Brown before they claimed Gordon. Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said there are "a few teams that are very interested in signing Antonio once this process is over." The NFL is investigating accusations that Brown sexually assaulted multiple women, which is why the Patriots released him. The league doesn't appear to be close to making a decision at this time, so Brown should remain a free agent for the foreseeable future.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 8:50pm ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been the third-best quarterback in fantasy the last five weeks. He also has a fabulous matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week to do more damage. Wilson has averaged 245.2 passing yards and two touchdowns per game through the air the last five games. He only threw one interception total. Wilson is an elite QB1 option this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 8:33pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 1, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has been one of the most productive quarterbacks in the NFL this season and should have another favorable matchup this week. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Nov 1 5:53pm ET

Seattle Seahawks S Quandre Diggs (hamstring) and DE Quinton Jefferson (oblique) were unable to practice all week and are listed as doubtful for Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. S Lano Hill (elbow) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Friday, Nov. 1, and is also listed as doubtful. OT Duane Brown (biceps, knee) was limited all week, while S Ugo Amadi (non-injury) was added to the injury report Friday after a limited practice, but both players no longer appear on the injury report. OT Jamarco Jones (knee), S Bradley McDougald (back), CB Tre Flowers (neck), S Marquise Blair (shoulder), QB Russell Wilson (knee), DE Ziggy Ansah (ankle), LB K.J. From TheHuddle

Oct 31 7:33pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (knee) was upgraded to full on the injury report for Thursday, Oct. 31.

Fantasy Spin: There never seemed to be real concern over Wilson's availability for Week 9. Keep him plugged in despite the relatively difficult matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

From TheHuddle

Oct 30 8:43pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson threw for only 182 yards last week but threw at least two touchdowns for the sixth time this season. He should have a favorable matchup in Week 9 and is a must-start option in all leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 28 11:10am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw two touchdowns but only passed for 182 yards in his team's Week 8 win. There wasn't a whole lot for Wilson to do in this one after the first half, as the Seahawks jumped out to a 24-0 lead at the break. The run-heavy game script in the second half limited Wilson's opportunities, though it's not surprising considering how Seattle favors the running game. Still, Wilson sports 17 touchdowns and just one interception this year along with three rushing touchdowns. He'll face a Tampa Bay Buccaneers Defense in Week 9 that struggles to defend the pass.

From RotoBaller

Oct 27 7:13pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 14-of-20 passes for 182 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons and he ran for four yards.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson had his lowest yardage total of the season, but he hit two or more touchdown passes for the sixth time in eight starts. He'll look to keep it going in Week 9 against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 7:53pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 25, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson has been one of the better quarterbacks so far this season with 18 total touchdowns and only one interception. He should have success against the Atlanta Falcons this week and is a must-start option.

From TheHuddle

Oct 25 5:53pm ET

Seattle Seahawks S Lano Hill (elbow) and DT Quinton Jefferson (oblique) were unable to practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 8 versus the Atlanta Falcons. OL Germain Ifedi (knee) did not practice for a second straight day on Friday, Oct. 25, and is listed as questionable. S Bradley McDougald (back), CB Tre Flowers (neck), Ziggy Ansah (ankle) and S Quandre Diggs (hamstring) were limited in practice Friday and are listed as questionable. OT Duane Brown (biceps) was upgraded to a full practice Friday and is also listed as questionable. OT George Fant (shoulder), RB Chris Carson (non-injury), WR Tyler Lockett (non-injury), OL D.J. Fluker (hamstring) and QB Russell Wilson (knee) were full participants in practice Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 24 7:43pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (knee) was listed as a full participant at practice Thursday, Oct. 24.

Fantasy Spin: The MVP contender should be good to go come Sunday in an ideal matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. He has a great chance to be QB1 for the week.

From TheHuddle

Oct 23 8:53pm ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson threw his first interception last week but still has posted 15 passing touchdowns in seven games. He should have success against the Atlanta Falcons this week and can be a No. 1 quarterback in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 21 10:50am ET

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson fell back to Earth a bit during a 30-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7. Wilson completed 20 of his 41 passes for 241 yards and a touchdown in the defeat. He also threw his first interception of the season as Marcus Peters ran a soft pass back for a 67-yard pick-six. Wilson had been superhuman through the first six weeks of the season, so it was surprising to see such an inefficient outing from the MVP candidate. Nevertheless, he will have a fantastic opportunity to rebound in Week 8 against a depleted Atlanta Falcons Defense.

From RotoBaller

Oct 21 12:43am ET

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 20 of 41 passes for 241 yards, one touchdown and one interception in a Week 7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Wilson also ran three times for 27 yards.

Fantasy Spin: Wilson, who has been playing at an MVP level this season, struggled badly on Sunday against a relentless Ravens attack that registered eight QB hits. The veteran also finally got burned throwing back across the field as Marcus Peters stepped in front of one for a pick six. Look for Wilson to shake it off next week when the Seahawks visit the free-falling Falcons.
