Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins has a tough matchup in Week 10, but should still be a solid RB2 option regardless. Dobbins is the overall RB13 in fantasy points per game, and the Chargers offense has run through him at certain points this season. He's coming off a big game in Cleveland where he scored 23.5 fantasy points and ended up as the week's RB6. The Titans defense is a bit more of a challenge, as they've held opposing running backs to the fourth-lowest rushing success rate and the third-lowest yards after contact rate as well. Still, with his heavy involvement and the Chargers generally heavily favored in this game, Dobbins should have his chances and is always a threat for the end zone.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins scored two touchdowns in a Week 9 win over the Cleveland Browns. Dobbins commanded the backfield once again, carrying the ball 14 times, gaining 85 yards and scoring twice. He added two catches for 20 yards through the air, catching both of his targets. His first touchdown was a 16-yard run in the second quarter and his second was a seven-yard scamper in the fourth quarter. Dobbins continues to be the clear three-down RB1 in the LA backfield, as Kimani Vidal was the only other Chargers back to record a carry, and he had only five. Dobbins and the Chargers will take on the Titans in Week 10, where Dobbins should again be in the RB1/2 conversation.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins will look for another good week in a Week 9 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Dobbins was solid against the New Orleans Saints in a Week 8 win, putting up 57 yards and a touchdown on the ground to go with four catches on seven targets through the air. It wasn't his most effective game on a per-touch basis, but his continued heavy involvement in both parts of the offensive game plan is encouraging. Dobbins was given Thursday off this week, as he missed practice for a rest day, but he enters the game with no injury designation after returning to a full practice on Friday. Dobbins is a steady and reliable RB2 option with weekly RB1 upside, especially with the Chargers offense finally starting to move the ball well over the past couple of games.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins scored a touchdown in a Week 8 win over the New Orleans Saints. Dobbins led the Chargers backfield in all categories, running the ball 17 times for 57 yards and catching four of seven passing game targets for 11 yards. Dobbins scored on a one-yard goal line run in the second quarter. Kimani Vidal and Hassan Haskins combined for just seven carries and 16 yards, showing once again that Dobbins has this backfield locked down. He'll be in the RB1/2 conversation most weeks, including in Week 9 when the Chargers travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins has an excellent matchup in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints. Dobbins is the overall fantasy RB18 so far this season, and that's even with two real duds in Weeks 3 and 4. He's averaging just under 93 yards per game and the Saints defense has allowed the fourth-most rushing yards and the third-most rushing touchdowns per game so far this season. With the backfield pretty much all to himself, Dobbins is a clear RB1 option with a high floor in this matchup.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins struggled to find room in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Dobbins ran the ball 14 times, gaining 40 yards with a long of 11. He was targeted three times in the passing game, making all three catches for a total of 26 yards. Dobbins remained the clear starter in this backfield, as he got 17 touches and every other Chargers running back combined for just six. As long as he stays healthy, he'll remain "the guy" for the Chargers running game, which makes him an RB1/2 depending on the matchup. Week 8 awaits with a Sunday game against the New Orleans Saints.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins got back on track in Week 6 and will look to keep it going in a Week 7 Monday Night Football game against the Arizona Cardinals. Dobbins got off to an excellent start this season, finishing as the overall fantasy RB4 in Week 1 and the RB5 in Week 2. Two down weeks followed (RB39 in Week 3 and RB36 in Week 4), but he got back on track after the Chargers bye, finishing as the RB12 against a strong Denver defense in Week 6. The Cardinals defense is solid enough against the run, but the Chargers have formed their entire offensive identity around the running game, so Dobbins is certain to see plenty of the ball on Monday night. He's an RB1 option with big time upside.

Dynasty | Chargers running back JK Dobbins had 96 rushing yards and a touchdown in a win against Denver. Dynasty Analysis: He added two catches for six yards. Dobbins was predictably busy in this one after Gus Edwards was put on IR this week. It's been a big-time bounce-back season for Dobbins, who had a season high 25 carries in this one. While he hasn't had a 100-yard game since the second week of the season, the thought Dobbins was going to be unable to return to his pre-injury form seem to have been put to rest. He'll be a solid RB2 moving forward and dynasty managers need to really look at him as a potential buy or sell depending on where they sit after six weeks.
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins scored a touchdown in a Week 6 win over the Denver Broncos. Dobbins has been operating as the team's lead back, and that will be even more true now with Gus Edwards (ankle) being placed on IR. Dobbins ran the ball 25 times, gaining 96 yards and scoring a touchdown on a four-yard run in the second quarter. He was also targeted twice in the passing game, making two catches for a total of six yards. While his per carry average wasn't excellent, Dobbins got RB1 volume and did well enough against a strong defense. He'll continue as a solid starting option in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins has another tough matchup in a Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos. Dobbins got off to an excellent start this season with huge games in Weeks 1 and 2, but then hit some of the league's best run defenses in Weeks 3 and 4. Week 6 features another strong run defense, as the Broncos have limited opposing runners to mediocre at best weeks all season. Even with the two tough weeks though, Dobbins is the fantasy RB16 in points per game and is averaging just under 100 total yards per contest. He's a high floor option despite the tough matchup, but his ceiling is limited by his opponent and potentially by the Chargers offense in general. Dobbins comes into the lower half of RB2 rankings for this week.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins was bottled up again in a Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Dobbins led the backfield in carries with 14 and also led in rushing yards, but with just 32. He was targeted four times in the passing game, making three catches for 30 yards. It was a rough day for the Chargers running game in general, as the longest play on the ground was a 12-yard run by Dobbins. For the first time this season, the Chargers offense threw the ball more times (27) than they ran it (24). Dobbins will have better games ahead, and his usage remains encouraging going forward, as no other Charger back had more than six carries in this game. The Bolts head into their bye week and will come out in Week 6 to take on the Broncos in Denver.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins will look to bounce back in a Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Dobbins was outstanding in Weeks 1 and 2, averaging 20.5 fantasy points per game before slowing down to a 6.9 point performance in Week 3. He still played on 65% of the team's offensive snaps in Week 3, it was just a down week in general for the Chargers offense. Dobbins is having an excellent start to the season, ranking fourth in explosive run rate and sixth in missed tackles per attempt. He's involved as a runner and as a pass catcher, and is firmly in the RB2 conversation despite a tough Chiefs run defense in Week 4.

Dynasty | Chargers running back JK Dobbins had 44 rushing yards, three catches and ten receiving yards in a loss against the Steelers. Dynasty Analysis: While the scoring total for Dobbins today is disappointing, there is a big development hidden in the box score as Dobbins handled 18 touches while Gus Edwards had just three. At this point, it seems this is no longer a committee with the Chargers as Dobbins has simply taken over the backfield. This is a big development as Dobbins continues to be one of the biggest risers in terms of dynasty rankings over the first month of the season. In short, he finally looks healthy.
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins was slowed down by the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Week 3 loss. Dobbins ran the ball 15 times, gaining 44 yards. He added three catches on three targets, gaining an additional 10 yards. His 18 touches were by far the most in the Chargers backfield, as Gus Edwards was second with just three. Dobbins has clearly taken over the RB1 role for the Chargers and will certainly have bigger weeks than this very tough matchup in a low scoring game. Dobbins and the Chargers will face the Kansas City Chiefs next week, possibly without starting quarterback Justin Herbert (ankle).
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins is set for another strong performance in a Week 3 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dobbins is the overall fantasy RB4 through the first two weeks of the season, and several statistics show that it's not just a fluke. He ranks first in the NFL in explosive run rate and missed tackles forced per attempt. He's 12th in the league in yards after contact, and the Chargers offensive line has been excellent in opening up running lanes, with the Chargers offense tops in the league in yards before contact in the running game. The Steelers defense is solid over all, but has been just about average against running backs through the first two weeks of the season. Dobbins is a high-end RB2 with clear upside.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins followed up his strong Week 1 performance with another excellent performance in a Week 2 win over the Carolina Panthers. Dobbins carried the ball 17 times, gaining 131 yards and scoring a touchdown. He was targeted only once in the passing game, making the catch but ending up with no gain. Dobbins scored his touchdown on a 43-yard run in the second quarter, ending it with a flip into the end zone. He looked healthy again and dominated the Chargers running game. His backfield mate Gus Edwards ended up with 18 carries, one more than Dobbins, but Edwards gained just 59 yards. Dobbins has quickly moved himself to the RB1 role on the Chargers depth chart and should be a solid RB2 in fantasy if he stays on the field.
From RotoBaller
Chargers' RB J.K. Dobbins ran for 131 yards on 17 carries with one touchdown in Sunday's win in Carolina. It was Dobbins's 2nd consecutive 100+ yard rushing performance. He has averaged 133 yards rushing in those games.
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins will look for a repeat performance of his outstanding Week 1 game when the Chargers take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 2. Dobbins played on 58% of the team's offensive snaps in Week 1 and put up 139 yards on 13 touches. He also ran 17 pass routes and most importantly, looked completely healthy after injuries forced him to play in just nine games in the past two seasons combined. Dobbins put up his gaudy Week 1 numbers against a Raiders defense that was supposed to be strong against the run. In Week 2, he gets to face a Panthers defensive unit that allowed the third-most rushing yards in the season's opening week. Dobbins has RB1 upside this week, but is safer as a higher-end RB2.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | Chargers running back JK Dobbins had 135 yards rushing and a touchdown in an opening day win against the Raiders. Dynasty Analysis: It's hard not to smile after this performance as the oft-injured Dobbins looked as explosive as ever for the Chargers. He had a 61-yard gain at one point but still had around 70 yards on his other nine carries, making that far from a fluke. He's going to be part of what could be a frustrating timeshare with Gus Edwards but all the talk about Dobbins returning to form seem to be pretty accurate. Dobbins' dynasty arrow is pointing straight up.
Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins had a huge game in his Week 1 Chargers debut. Dobbins ran the ball 10 times, gaining 135 yards and scoring a touchdown. He was targeted three times in the passing game, catching all three for four yards. Dobbins scored on a 12-yard run at the beginning of the fourth quarter and also put up a 61-yard run to help ice the game. He was a force out of the backfield in this one and vastly outperformed Gus Edwards. Week 2 should be another strong performance for the Chargers offense, as they face the Carolina Panthers. Dobbins has his fantasy arrow pointing straight up after this game.
