Dynasty | Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had 30 rushing yards, two catches and eight receiving yards in a loss to the Broncos. Dynasty Analysis: As the fantasy playoffs arrive, Jeanty is borderline unplayable. It's been an amazing run of total ineptitude in Las Vegas as Jeanty has essentially endured a lost season. This just doesn't seem like a "Trent Richardson" situation where a "can't miss" running backs busts, but Jeanty now has just 665 rushing yards and four touchdowns on an anemic 3.5 yards per carry. Jeanty's grasp on his elite-level dynasty ranking has slipped through his fingers this year.

Dec 6 4:10pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty has displayed his receiving ability in recent weeks, recording at least six receptions in three straight games. Jeanty has struggled to be efficient as a runner all season due to the Raiders' poor offensive line, but he's still found ways to deliver for fantasy managers. Since Week 9, the rookie first-rounder has recorded 70 carries for 190 yards and a touchdown to go with 28 receptions for 165 yards and two touchdowns on 34 targets. His 28 receptions during that span trail only Christian McCaffrey, and he ranks as the RB10 in that stretch with 16.3 PPR points per game. Jeanty will look to stay productive as a receiver in Week 14 against the Denver Broncos' stout defense. The rookie totaled 19 carries for 60 yards and a touchdown with three receptions (three targets) for five yards against them in Week 10, and he profiles as an upside RB2 in Week 14.

Dynasty | Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty had 31 rushing yards, six catches and 30 receiving yards in a loss to the Chargers. Dynasty Analysis: There's really not much left to say here. Jeanty is in the midst of a lost season as the Raiders are now 2-10 and look like they have the worst offense in the league. The Pete Carroll and Geno Smith combination has backfired in epic proportions and they simply can't move the ball. At this point, dynasty managers are simply hoping Jeanty finishes the season healthy because he just isn't going to produce numbers this year. He could be a buy low this off-season.

Nov 29 9:30am CT

Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty hasn't found consistent running room this season behind a lackluster offensive line, totaling 166 carries for 604 yards (3.6 YPC) and four touchdowns while adding 37 receptions for 221 yards and four more scores on 46 targets as a receiver. Jeanty injured his ankle in Week 12's loss to the Browns, but he is off the injury report heading into Sunday. His involvement in the passing game has helped save his fantasy outputs in recent weeks, with 22 receptions (26 targets) for 135 yards and two touchdowns in the past four games. The sixth overall pick in this past year's draft is averaging just 2.9 yards per carry in that four-game span. The Raiders fired offensive coordinator Chip Kelly earlier in the week, so the offense could look a little different in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Jeanty ranks as RotoBaller's RB20 for Week 13.

Nov 26 6:40pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders rookie first-round running back Ashton Jeanty (ankle) is not listed on the team's Week 13 injury report, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN. Jeanty injured his ankle late in Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns, but it was nothing serious, and he'll be ready to play for a Week 13 date with the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers. The 21-year-old from Boise State didn't find much room to run on the ground in Week 12 (17 carries for 50 yards), but he salvaged his fantasy day with a season-high eight receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown through the air. Jeanty has struggled to put up numbers on the ground in his first NFL season behind a bad offensive line, and things probably won't get any easier this weekend. But the volume alone will make Jeanty a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 in fantasy football. He had 11 carries for 43 yards and three catches for one yard in the previous meeting with the Chargers back on Sept. 15.

Nov 24 2:20pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll said on Monday that the ankle injury that rookie first-round running back Ashton Jeanty (ankle) picked up late in Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns isn't severe, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN. Jeanty should have a chance to play in Week 13 against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers, but fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on the 21-year-old's practice status this week. Jeanty struggled on the ground yet again in Week 12 against a strong Browns defense, but he still managed to go over 100 scrimmage yards and scored a touchdown on 25 touches. If healthy, Jeanty will continue to be the Raiders' clear RB1, but his fantasy upside is limited behind a bad offensive line in an offense that is averaging just 15 points per game, which is tied for last in the NFL. Raheem Mostert, Zamir White, and Dylan Laube could share backfield touches if Jeanty were to miss time.

Nov 23 8:30pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty had an underwhelming day on the ground in his team's Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns, recording just 50 rushing yards on 17 carries. However, the 21-year-old saved his fantasy production with a monster day as a receiver, recording eight catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. With the Raiders' depleted offensive line struggling to open up holes in the ground game, receiving work has become an increasingly important part of Jeanty's repertoire in recent weeks. Across his last four games, Jeanty has hauled in 22 receptions for 135 yards and two touchdowns on 26 targets. He's been targeted eight times in each of the last two weeks. The Raiders' overall inability to consistently move the ball limits Jeanty's ceiling, but he still profiles as a high-volume fantasy RB2 heading into a Week 13 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.

From RotoBaller

Nov 22 12:20pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty has consistently been bottled up on the ground this season. That in part led to the Raiders abandoning the run in their Week 11 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, as Jeanty has just six carries for seven yards, but stayed involved as a receiver with six receptions (eight targets) for 27 yards. The sixth overall pick in this past year's draft has averaged over four yards per carry in just two of 10 games this season. The poor play of the Raiders' offensive line has derailed any hope of a massive fantasy ceiling for Jeanty, and now he draws a matchup on Sunday against a Cleveland Browns defense that is allowing just 3.9 yards per carry (fourth best) and the fourth fewest PPR points per game to opposing running backs. Jeanty will rank as a volume-based RB2 for Week 12.

In a blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football to close out Week 11 action to drop them to 2-8 on the season, the Las Vegas Raiders abandoned their running game. Rookie first-round running back Ashton Jeanty had just six carries for seven yards and had just two rushing attempts in the first half. The Raiders had a designed pass on 84% of its plays, the team's highest rate in a game since 2012. Head coach Pete Carroll admitted that he heavily influenced the offensive game plan. "I don't really care about pleasing people with our run/pass mix. I'm trying to move the football," Carroll said. "I wanted to get the ball to Brock Bowers a bunch and see what he could do. I'm responsible for that." The expectation was that the Raiders would rely heavily on Jeanty after he was taken sixth overall in the draft, but he currently ranks 16th among RBs with 149 rushing attempts. Vegas' poor offensive line play and the fact that they continue to fall behind by multiple scores doesn't bode well for Jeanty's workload on the ground increasing anytime soon.

Nov 15 12:30pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty has had underwhelming efficiency on a massive workload this season. Jeanty has topped 4.0 yards per carry in only two games this season while running behind a struggling Raiders offensive line. The sixth overall pick in this past year's draft has turned heavy volume into solid fantasy production, ranking as RB16 in PPR points per game (14.6) among running backs with at least four games played, with his 166 total touches ranking 11th most in the league. Jeanty's floor for fantasy points has been raised lately with more involvement as a pass catcher, catching 16 of his 22 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in his past five games. The rookie back gets a beautiful matchup in Week 11 on Monday Night Football against a Dallas Cowboys defense that has allowed the fourth most PPR points per game to opposing running backs.

Nov 6 11:20pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty had 19 carries for 60 rushing yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 10 loss against the Denver Broncos. He also caught three of his five targets for an additional three receiving yards. The rookie was relatively inefficient on the ground and through the air, but managers should be intrigued by his high-volume role and touchdown despite the loss. He played 87 percent of the offensive snaps on Thursday Night Football, maintaining a significant workload in a slightly negative game script scenario. He should continue to be viewed as a fringe top-12 fantasy running back.

From RotoBaller

Nov 6 8:40am CT

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty should be viewed as a quality RB2 option when the Raiders take on a quality Denver Broncos defense on Thursday. The rookie from Boise State has been something of a letdown, given where he was taken in most preseason fantasy drafts, but he has such control over the Vegas backfield that he still enters Week 10 as the No. 13 overall fantasy running back. Jeanty has eclipsed 80 yards only once in eight games, a 138-yard showing against the Chicago Bears in Week 4, though his 25 targets have made him a regular part of the team's passing game and given him additional fantasy value. At 2-6, the Raiders look headed for yet another lost season, but a running back playing more than 70% of his team's offensive snaps should be in fantasy lineups.

Dynasty | Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had 42 rushing yards, five catches, 42 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Jaguars. Dynasty Analysis: The Raiders lost a heartbreaker in overtime to the Jags but it was hardly the fault of Jeanty, who looked good today. While he hasn't been the dominant force we expected, today was at least one of his better days. Jeanty will look to build on this performance moving forward and a big second half would solidify his spot as a RB1 moving into next season. His ADP slide will certainly pause after this week.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Nov 2 9:30pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders rookie first-round running back Ashton Jeanty had another mediocre performance on the ground in the team's Week 9 overtime loss to the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but he salvaged his day for fantasy managers by catching all five of his targets for 47 yards and a touchdown through the air. On the ground, Jeanty handled a team-high 13 carries for 42 yards (3.2 yards per carry). The 21-year-old was able to bounce back coming out of the bye week after he had a season-low six carries for 21 yards and only one catch for 13 yards in the Week 7 blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. It's been slow going for Jeanty the last three games behind a shaky Raiders offensive line, and things won't get any easier on a short week on Thursday Night Football against a stout Denver Broncos defense in Week 10. Through his first eight NFL games, Jeanty has three rushing scores and three receiving touchdowns.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 3:40pm CT

Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty will battle the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville's defense ranks eighth against fantasy running backs this season, but the Raiders will look to get Jeanty involved early in what should be an evenly matched game. The team has also been trending towards higher usage for Jeanty in the passing game, and they should continue to put their best playmaker in situations where he is operating in space. Jeanty's workload should remain high following the bye week, making him a safe low-end RB1 option.

From RotoBaller

Oct 19 7:10pm CT

Dynasty | Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty had 21 rushing yards, one catch and 13 receiving yards in a loss to the Chiefs. Dynasty Analysis: The Raiders had 95 net yards on offense on the day. Ninety. Five. This was hardly Jeanty's fault as he only had seven touches on the day. The Raiders are consistently finding themselves in negative game scripts and it's been a mess all season. With Geno Smith completely ineffective, defenses are teeing off on Jeanty and the Raiders haven't been able to counter. This is quickly looking like a bit of a lost season for Jeanty, who needs an infusion of talent and perhaps a different scheme to truly break out. His ranking is slipping a little but most realize some of this isn't his fault.
