Homer was a special teams player for the Bears last year, failing to get a rush attempt all year despite playing 16 games. He had a target in the passing game but didn't catch that pass. It broke a streak of two straight seasons with 200-plus total yards. Homer will look to grab a bigger role this season but might have a hard time moving up the depth chart. Homer is a small back but plays bigger than his size. He hits the hole in a hurry and sets up his blocks well. He cuts well and keeps his legs going after contact. He also is a pretty good receiver that can help the passing game.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Homer could get some offensive touches this year but not enough to help most fantasy teams. He has never topped 350 total yards in a season. He could get a 100 or 200 total yards if all goes well for him.

Chicago Bears running back Travis Homer (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity again on Friday and is officially questionable to face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 16. Meanwhile, wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (pectoral) missed his third consecutive practice and has been ruled out. Neither of these injury updates carries much fantasy relevance, though it's worth pointing out that Homer, who hasn't touched the ball this season, could earn snaps in Week 16 if D'Onta Foreman (personal, questionable) doesn't suit up.
