Reynolds had his season cut short because of a rib injury. He played nine games as the No. 3 back for the Lions before the injury. He had 218 total yards. Reynolds had one game with double-digit fantasy points. He has played well with his chances the last two seasons and will look to carve out a role as a reserve back this season. Reynolds has good speed but is best after contact. He also catches the ball pretty well and can be an effective three-down back.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Reynolds is not going to get a ton of weekly work. He is more waiver-wire material if someone were to get injured. Look for around 300 total yards with a score or two.

Detroit Lions running back Craig Reynolds rushed 14 times for 74 yards and caught his only targets for 12 yards in the Week 8 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Reynolds has found extra work in the absence of David Montgomery (ribs), but that could be coming to an end after the team's Week 9 bye. Assuming Montgomery can return in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers, Reynolds will be safe to drop to the waiver wire moving forward. In super deep leagues, Reynolds can continue to be stashed.
