New York Giants WR Ray-Ray McCloud III did very little in his team debut in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears. He played 20 offensive snaps, of 27 percent of the 73 plays, but he did not have any offensive stats or targets.
Fantasy Spin: McCloud was working as the No. 4 wideout behind Wan'Dale Robinson (72 snaps), Darius Slayton (45 snaps) and special-team maven Gunner Olszewski (28 snaps). McCloud has since reverted back to the practice squad, where he is likely to bounce back and forth up to three times before the team decides to keep him on a longer-term basis. It's possible he could move past Olszewski on the depth chart once he gets acclimated and familiar with the playbook, gaining some fantasy appeal in deeper leagues, when activated, but with the coaching regime change this week, that muddies the picture quite a bit moving forward.

According to Dan Salomone of Giants.com, the New York Giants have elevated wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday's matchup with the hosting Chicago Bears. McCloud III will suit up for a second consecutive game for the Giants after joining the squad roughly two weeks ago. In his debut, the 29-year-old played the second-most snaps of all New York wideouts (91%). However, he was targeted just once (1/5). While he may boast more work as he becomes more comfortable in his new surroundings, the Giants' passing offense has not found consistent success supporting multiple fantasy wide receivers. McCloud III will rank as RotoBaller's PPR WR88 for his clash with Chicago.

The New York Giants have signed former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III to their practice squad pending a physical, according to Art Stapleton of USA Today. McCloud was released from the Falcons on Tuesday after serving as a healthy inactive for the past two weeks. The 29-year-old wideout caught just six of 14 targets for 64 yards in four games with the Falcons before being released, but now lands with a New York Giants team that is desperate for wide receivers with star Malik Nabers (knee) out for the season. McCloud was a useful receiver for Atlanta last season while also having plenty of experience as a return man on special teams. He figures to be in the mix for routes early in New York, but likely won't be relevant for fantasy purposes.

Free-agent WR Ray-Ray McCloud (Falcons) was signed to the New York Giants practice squad Wednesday, Oct. 22, according to sources.

The Atlanta Falcons released wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III on Tuesday, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. McCloud was a healthy scratch for the Falcons each of the last two weeks and was sent home from practice last week. The 29-year-old pass-catcher will now be free to sign with any team on the open market after catching six of his 14 targets for 64 yards and no touchdowns in his four games played with Atlanta this year. In 17 games (13 starts) for the Falcons last year, McCloud had career-highs across the board in catches (62), targets (87), and receiving yards (686) while finding the end zone one time. In addition to operating as a depth receiver, McCloud has extensive experience as a kick returner on special teams, so he should latch on with another team, but he's unlikely to suddenly surface on the fantasy radar in 2025.

The Atlanta Falcons have declared WR Ray-Ray McCloud, S Billy Bowman Jr., LB LaCale London, OT Jack Nelson and LB Jalon Walker inactive for Week 7.
From TheHuddle
Atlanta Falcons WR Ray-Ray McCloud (non-injury) was sent home and will not play in Week 7's game versus the San Francisco 49ers due to a private matter between the player and the club, according to head coach Raheem Morris.
Fantasy Spin: McCloud has just six receptions for 64 yards through four games this season and possesses minimal fantasy value, especially since he is no longer serving as the Falcons' primary kick return and punt return option.
From TheHuddle
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III will be a healthy scratch for the Week 7 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. The 29-year-old will now miss his second straight game for personal reasons. It sounds like McCloud was sent home on Friday while he deals with a personal matter. It didn't sound like the coaching staff was sure when McCloud would rejoin the team. He has been a non-factor anyway with six receptions for 64 yards in four games. Drake London and Kyle Pitts Sr. remain the top receiving options in Atlanta right now.

Atlanta Falcons LB Jalon Walker (groin), CB Clark Phillips III (triceps, illness), DB Billy Bowman Jr. (hamstring), and WR Ray-Ray McCloud (non-injury) did not practice all week and have been ruled out. S Jordan Fuller (knee) practiced in full all week but has been ruled out. DL Ta'Quon Graham (calf) practiced in full all week and has been listed as questionable. OT Jake Matthews (ankle) was limited in practice all week and has been listed as questionable. WR Darnell Mooney (hamstring) did not practice Friday, Oct. 17, and has been listed as questionable. DE Leonard Floyd (illness) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appears on the injury report. TE Feleipe Franks (calf) was limited on Friday but is expected to play. DL LaCale London (triceps) practiced in full on Friday but is expected to play.

WR Darnell Mooney (hamstring) and TE Feleipe Franks (calf) were limited during practice. S Jordan Fuller (knee), LB Leonard Floyd (illness), DE LaCale London (triceps) and DT Ta'Quon Graham (calf) fully participated in practice.

In a surprise turn, the Atlanta Falcons have made wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III a healthy scratch from the Monday night contest against the visiting Buffalo Bills, according to Tori McElhaney of AtlantaFalcons.com. Darnell Mooney (hamstring) is inactive for the Falcons' receiving corps, so Casey Washington, KhaDarel Hodge, and Jamal Agnew could see bigger roles in the passing game behind Drake London. Both London and tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. should have slightly higher ceilings against Buffalo with Mooney out as well. McCloud has been a non-factor in fantasy in Atlanta in 2025, catching six of 14 targets for 64 yards and no touchdowns in four games played. His best game came in the season opener, when he had three catches for 51 yards in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
From RotoBaller
The Atlanta Falcons have declared WR Ray-Ray McCloud, S Billy Bowman Jr., LB LaCale London, CB Clark Phillips III, OT Jack Nelson, RB Nate Carter and WR Darnell Mooney inactive for Week 6.
From TheHuddle
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III played just 35 percent of the team's offensive snaps in Week 4, which put him behind even Casey Washington (52 percent), who was healthy for the first time since Week 1. In Week 1, Washington also played more snaps than McCloud (95 percent vs. 72 percent) in a game that had the same dynamic that will be in play on Monday night, which is that WR Darnell Mooney (hamstring) will not suit up for the Falcons. With Kyle Pitts Sr. and Bijan Robinson seeing regular work in the passing game, in addition to Drake London, McCloud becomes the fourth or fifth option in the pecking order, which makes him irrelevantin most fantasy leagues this week. Washington drew six targets in Week 1 without Mooney on the field, hauling in three for 33 yards, although he's also nothing more than a DFS dart throw.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III played his usual role in Week 3, lining up on 70 percent of the snaps and tallying two catches on five targets for 20 yards and no touchdowns. Week 4 should bring more of the same, but ranking fifth on the team in target share with 11.5 percentis a big drop from 2024's 16.1 percent, and with one touchdown all last season, there's littlechance of the 28-year-old finding the end zone. The Washington Commanders, Atlanta's opponent this week, have been much more vulnerable through the air than on the ground in 2025, but that does little to change the outlook for McCloud on Sunday. The seventh-year pro should be avoided where possible, even in PPR formats.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons WR Ray-Ray McCloud ended up with two receptions for 20 yards on five targets in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers.
