Dynasty | Cowboys running back Javonte Williams had 41 rushing yards, one catch, eight receiving yards and two touchdowns in a loss to the Broncos. Dynasty Analysis: The Cowboys are 3-4-1 but you can hardly blame Williams, who is having a career-best season with eight touchdowns in his first eight games. There is no committee in Dallas and while he's destined to cool off, Williams looks like an amazing target for a contending dynasty team moving forward this year.
Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams had his second 100-yard rushing performance of the season in the Week 7 victory over the visiting Washington Commanders on Sunday. In the 44-22 win, Williams was dominant on the ground, going for 116 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries (6.1 yards per carry). It was the 25-year-old's second game in 2025 with over 100 rushing yards, and it was a nice bounce-back effort after he had a season-low 29 ground yards on 13 carries in last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers. He added just one catch on four targets for a gain of two yards. Williams showed his bruising style of play and was able to pick up chunk gains out of the backfield against a weak Commanders defense on Sunday. He is averaging over 5.0 yards per tote in his first year in Dallas and is well on his way to a breakout in his fifth NFL season in Dallas' high-scoring offense. Williams has become a must-start RB2 in fantasy, but it could be tough sledding against his old team, the Denver Broncos, in a Week 8 showdown.
From RotoBaller
Cowboys' RB Javonte Williams ran for 116 yards on 19 carries with one touchdown in Sunday's win against the Commanders.
Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams had his worst game of the season in Week 6, recording just 34 scrimmage yards on 18 touches against the Carolina Panthers. Still, the 25-year-old is having an excellent season, as he's logged 559 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns on 114 total touches through the first six weeks of 2025. The Cowboys have had a penchant for playing high-scoring games so far this season, and they could have another on tap in Week 7 against the Washington Commanders. Williams has played a workhorse, three-down role all year in Dallas, which put him in a good position to be productive each week. If there's any cause for concern, it's that Washington has allowed just four rushing touchdowns through its first six games. Still, Williams projects for close to 20 touches and profiles as a must-start fantasy running back in Week 7.

Dynasty | Cowboys running back Javonte Williams had 29 rushing yards, five catches and five receiving yards in a loss to the Panthers. Dynasty Analysis: The Cowboys focused more on the passing game than the rushing attack today and it certainly didn't help Williams, who had been really consistent so far this year. This is likely just a blip on the radar and not a sign of things to come but this was clearly not the expectation of dynasty managers today. His ADP rise will slow a bit this week but he's been one of the best surprises of the season thus far.
Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams has been one of the best backs in the league early in the season. The 25-year-old has found a new home in Dallas and appears to be earning himself a nice payday at the end of the season. Last week, Williams rushed 16 times for a season-high 135 yards with a touchdown in the win over the New York Jets. Williams has rushed for over 75 yards in four of the first five games this season. He remains an elite RB1 for the upcoming plus-matchup against the Carolina Panthers in Week 6.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys' RB Javonte Williams scored 26.90 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 5 win in New York Jets. Williams ran for 135 yards and caught one pass for 4 yards with two touchdowns.
If it wasn't already clear that Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams is the team's lead back after his big game in the Week 5 win over the New York Jets on Sunday, head coach Brian Schottenheimer reiterated it on Monday when he said, "Javonte's the bell-cow. He's earned that." Williams dominated the Jets in the 37-22 victory, carrying the rock 16 times for 135 yards and a touchdown while adding a touchdown reception. It was the 25-year-old's first 100-yard rushing performance since his rookie season in 2021 with the Denver Broncos. It helped that backup Miles Sanders (ankle, knee) was inactive on Sunday, but even so, Williams is Dallas' clear lead back going forward. He appears to be fully healthy and is making the Cowboys' one-year deal look pretty darn good right now. Williams has cemented himself into must-start status in fantasy with 525 scrimmage yards and six touchdowns through five games, and he could have a second straight big performance in Week 6 in a matchup against the Carolina Panthers.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams rushed for 135 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries during Sunday's Week 5 win over the New York Jets. He also caught a four-yard touchdown pass. Williams is enjoying a terrific career resurgence in Dallas, scoring six touchdowns through five games while averaging 20.7 fantasy points (PPR) per contest. He has ranked as a mid-range RB1 so far this season, and with a firm grasp on the lead-back role, he remains a must-start fantasy option going forward. Williams has been an enormous fantasy draft steal with league-winning potential as the Cowboys' offense plays quite well. He should continue to feast next week against the Carolina Panthers.
From RotoBaller
Dallas' RB Javonte Williams ran for 132 yards on 16 carries with one touchdown in Sunday's win in New York Jets.
