New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough rushed for two touchdowns in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and completed 13 of 20 passes for 144 yards with an interception while adding seven carries for 55 yards. It wasn't Shough's best day as a passer, but he made some big-time plays with his legs, including a 34-yard score in the third quarter, before adding a 13-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to give the Saints the lead for good. The rookie second-rounder has shown real flashes in his five starts and firmly belongs in the QB2 discussion moving forward for fantasy football. In Week 15, the 26-year-old faces a Carolina Panthers team that he already beat back in Week 10, when he completed 19 of 27 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns. It may not be as easy the second time he faces them, but Shough is worth adding and starting in superflex formats.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough completed 13 of 20 pass attempts for 144 passing yards, zero passing touchdowns, and one interception during Sunday's Week 14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns. Furthermore, he took two sacks. The rookie didn't have a big day passing, but he made up for it with a stellar showing on the ground, headlined by a 34-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter. New Orleans held three different leads throughout the game, and Shough's big impact on the ground put the Saints in position to edge out the Bucs in a key divisional battle. The rookie has quietly racked up four passing touchdowns and 73 rushing yards over the last two games, putting him in the QB2 tier for fantasy football going forward. Next week, he faces a Panthers defense allowing the second-fewest rushing yards and fourth-most interceptions to opposing quarterbacks. It won't be an easy game by any means, but Shough is still startable in two-quarterback or superflex formats.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough completed 26 of 38 passes for 239 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Week 13 loss to the Dolphins. He also added six carries for 18 yards and lost a fumble. Shough is averaging 40.5 pass attempts per game over his last two contests, and with the Saints unable to establish a consistent rushing attack, he'll be forced to continue airing it out. As a starter, Shough is averaging 235 passing yards per game with a 5:3 TD:INT ratio. With Alvin Kamara (ankle, knee) ruled out, additional volume could once again be on the table in the passing game when the Saints travel to Tampa Bay in Week 14 to face a Buccaneers defense allowing 247.5 passing yards per game, fourth-most in the NFL. Shough will rank as a QB2 for the contest.

Dynasty | Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough completed 26-of-38 passes for 239 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in a loss to Miami. Dynasty Analysis: Shough's numbers don't look bad but you also need to take them with a grain of salt. Much of his damage came as the Saints were attempting to put together a furious comeback. Shough has been fine since taking over and has shown a few bright spots here and there. However, it really looks like New Orleans is headed for a top-5 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft and it would be shocking to see them stick with Shough long-term.
Across three games since taking over as his team's starter in Week 9, New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough has completed 68.1% of his pass attempts for 701 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. On paper, Shough has a favorable matchup in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins. Through 12 weeks, Miami ranks 27th in the NFL in yards per pass attempt allowed (7.6). However, Miami has been better in recent weeks, allowing just 173 passing yards to the Buffalo Bills and 142 passing yards to the Washington Commanders in their last two games played. Additionally, the Saints will be without top running back Alvin Kamara (ankle) and could be without top wide receiver Chris Olave (back), who is questionable to play with a back injury. The potential lack of reliable pass-catchers could be a major issue for Shough. Even in two-quarterback formats, Shough could be a player for fantasy managers to avoid in Week 13.

Four games and two starts into his rookie season, New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough has completed 61.4% of his pass attempts for 586 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Shough had his best performance by far in his final outing before the Saints' Week 11 bye, throwing for 282 yards and two scores in a win over the Carolina Panthers. Coming out of the bye, Shough and the Saints will face an Atlanta Falcons defense that just allowed 448 passing yards and 30 points to the Carolina Panthers. Shough has limited talent around him in New Orleans, but he could still be in a position to take advantage of Atlanta in Week 12. Fantasy managers in two-quarterback formats should consider Shough a low-end QB2 heading into a favorable matchup against the Falcons.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough had a breakout performance in his first career win, completing 19 of 27 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns in the 17-7 victory over the Panthers. Shough played with confidence throughout, connecting with Chris Olave on a 62-yard score in the second quarter to give the Saints the lead, and they never looked back. He later found Juwan Johnson for a 30-yard touchdown to seal the win. Shough had three completions over 25 yards, something the Saints had only achieved six times through Weeks 1-8 under Spencer Rattler. His deep-ball upside makes him a matchup-dependent streaming option, with Week 12 against the Falcons his next opportunity.

Dynasty | Saints quarterback Tyler Shough completed 19-of-27 passes for 282 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in a win against Carolina. Dynasty Analysis: OK, then. Shough is obviously on borrowed time as the Saints quarterback unless he puts the team on his back and gets them out of range to draft his replacement next Spring. Today was a step in that direction as he ran the offense and looked pretty comfortable doing it. While it's just one game, Shough has looked markedly better than Spencer Rattler and his ADP and rookie ranking is clearly rising.
New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough went 15-for-24 for 176 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in his first career start against the Rams. He led the Saints on a 71-yard touchdown drive to close out the first half but otherwise struggled to sustain offense, with New Orleans holding the ball for just 16:07 compared to Los Angeles' 43:53. The Saints also traded receiver Rashid Shaheed, Shough's most targeted player in the loss, to Seattle at the deadline. On the positive side, Shough wasn't afraid to air it out, connecting with both Shaheed and Chris Olave on completions of over 25 yards. He'll look to rebound against the division-rival Carolina Panthers, who are allowing 205.8 passing yards per game, 15th in the league. Shough remains off fantasy radars for now.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough went 15-of-24 for 176 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Week 9 loss to the Rams. In his first career start, the rookie showed poise by leading a 71-yard touchdown drive to close out the first half. However, New Orleans struggled to sustain offense throughout the game, finishing with just 16:07 in time of possession compared to Los Angeles' 43:53. Shough appeared to build chemistry with receiver Rashid Shaheed, targeting him nine times, though the speedy wideout was traded to the Seattle Seahawks on trade deadline day. With Shaheed gone, Chris Olave should see an even larger target share moving forward. Next up for Shough and the Saints is a road matchup with a Panthers defense allowing 205.8 passing yards per game, ranking 15th in the league. Shough remains off the fantasy radar for now.

Dynasty | Saints quarterback Tyler Shough completed 15-of-24 passes for 176 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a loss to the Rams. Dynasty Analysis: Shough wasn't great for the now 1-8 Saints but he wasn't awful, either. The Rams just hammered New Orleans from the start and Shough didn't have much of a chance. Still, he looked a little better than Spencer Rattler had thus far, so that's something to build on. Shough will look to build on this one and attempt to establish himself as the future in New Orleans moving forward. His ADP and ranking are secure and won't move up or down much after this one.
