Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle should be deemed a quality WR2 option when Miami plays host to the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football. The Ravens have been among the league's worst in defending the pass, ranking a lowly 27th against fantasy receivers. While Miami has been a trainwreck for most of this season, from a fantasy perspective, there's a lot to like with Waddle. With fellow receiver Tyreek Hill (knee) out for the year and tight end Darren Waller (pectoral) on injured reserve, Waddle is clearly the team's top option and facing a defense that has had consistent issues defending receivers over the past two seasons. Waddle should have a solid target floor, and with the potential for a high-scoring game, there is a reasonable chance for a big performance on the table.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle caught five of his six targets for 99 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's Week 8 win over the Atlanta Falcons. He led the way as Miami pulled off an improbable upset victory on the road. Waddle has now tallied at least 95 receiving yards in three of his last four games, and he has a touchdown in two of those four contests. As much as the Dolphins' offense has struggled this year, Waddle has been able to maintain fantasy relevance, especially after Tyreek Hill (knee) went down. He is now the overall WR13 in PPR leagues this season, and he should remain a fantasy-relevant receiver regardless of whether Miami has the lead or is playing from behind. He could feast again next week against the Baltimore Ravens, who just surrendered seven catches and 114 yards to Rome Odunze. Waddle remains a solid WR2 option heading into Week 9.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (hamstring/rest) was limited at practice on Thursday, but does not have an injury designation coming into Week 8's matchup with the Falcons. The Falcons have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season, and the Dolphins' passing game has struggled badly under Tua Tagovailoa. Waddle only had one catch for 15 yards in his worst showing of the season last week against the Browns, but before that, he did have two strong games after the season-ending injury to Tyreek Hill (knee). Waddle has upside as the team's top target, but he is a very shaky play with the matchup and his team's struggles. Even with six teams on a bye week, Waddle is the No. 23 wide receiver in RotoBaller's rankings, making him a shaky start in most formats in this tough road matchup.

The Miami Dolphins listed wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (hamstrings) as a limited practice participant on Thursday due to injuries to both hamstrings, but they also cited rest for the reason he had a cap on his reps in the second day of practice this week, according to David Furones of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Although mid-week additions to the injury report usually aren't a good thing, the 26-year-old should be able to suit up for the Week 8 contest this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons as long as he doesn't miss Friday's practice. The entire Dolphins offense went off the rails in last week's blowout loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, and Waddle had only one catch on four targets for 15 yards. The previous two weeks, though, he had six grabs, 205 yards, and a touchdown on 17 targets. Waddle should bounce back as a volume-based WR3/flex in fantasy on the road against Atlanta.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that the Miami Dolphins are getting calls on wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, but don't "have plans to trade him at this point." With Tyreek Hill (knee) out for the season with a torn ACL, Waddle is a "building block who can translate to any offense." He is due $36 million over 2025-26, which represents a reasonable price for a player of his caliber at his position. ESPN's Dan Graziano writes that Waddle's contract makes him a bit difficult to trade, so the odds are that he'll stay put in Miami this season as their top wideout without Hill in the fold. Miami's offense went off the rails in Week 7 against a tough Cleveland Browns defense, and Waddle had only one catch for 15 yards on four targets. However, the two weeks prior, he went off for 12 catches (17 targets) for 205 yards and a touchdown as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's top target. Waddle will remain a volume-based WR2/3 in fantasy if he sticks with the Dolphins through this year's trade deadline.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that "several teams" are interested in trading for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, but the Dolphins have no interest in trading him. The 26-year-old has recorded 29 catches for 390 yards and three touchdowns on 40 targets through his first six games of 2025. In two games since taking over for the injured Tyreek Hill (knee) as Miami's clear WR1, Waddle has recorded 12 catches for 205 yards and a score on 17 targets. Waddle is under contract with the Dolphins through the 2028 season, so the team is under no pressure to move him despite their ugly 1-5 record. With Hill out for the remainder of the season, Waddle profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver as the clear top option in the passing game for Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has stepped up in the last two games for Miami without Tyreek Hill (knee), and he is a strong starter in standard leagues this week, even in a tough matchup against the Browns. In his two games since Hill's season-ending injury, Waddle had six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown against the Panthers and followed by six catches for 95 yards against the Chargers last week. Waddle gets plenty of work deep down the field and in the red zone, with a 24.6% target share, a 51.9% share of air yards, and a 35.6% first-read share over the last two weeks. All the extra work without Tyreek Hill is enough to make him the WR18 in RotoBaller's Week 7 rankings, even though the Browns' secondary has been solid against receivers this year.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle posted another solid game in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers, Miami's second full game since losing wideout Tyreek Hill (knee) for the season. Waddle led the Dolphins with eight targets and hauled in six catches for 95 yards. The 26-year-old has now recorded 29 catches for 390 yards and three touchdowns on 40 targets through six games this season. In the two games without Hill, Waddle has been much better, recording 12 catches for 205 yards and a score on 17 targets. He profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver, although Waddle and the Dolphins will have a tough matchup in Week 7 when they travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns.

Oct 10 7:50pm CT

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle will have an opportunity to step up as the team's top receiver the rest of the season after Tyreek Hill (knee) was lost for the season in Week 4. In Week 5, Waddle delivered a big game, hauling in six of his nine targets for 110 yards and a touchdown against the Panthers. He set season highs in catches, targets, and yards, while scoring his third touchdown in the last four weeks. Waddle and the Dolphins will look to bounce back from last week's loss to Carolina, as they host the Chargers. The Chargers' defense has done a good job against receivers this season, but Deebo Samuel did light them up for eight catches, 96 yards, and a touchdown last week. Waddle should be primed for another high-volume game and is the WR17 in RotoBaller's Week 6 rankings.

Dynasty | Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle had six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Panthers. Dynasty Analysis: With Tyreek Hill out for the season, Waddle did indeed take over the Dolphins top pass catchers, leading the team with nine targets on the day. He'll need to do more for the 1-4 Dolphins to climb out of the hole they've put themselves in but this was a huge step in the right direction. Waddle's dynasty value is again on the rise as Tyreek Hill is no longer expected back in Miami next season and he should move forward as their WR1.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle recorded six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in his team's 27-24 Week 5 loss to the Carolina Panthers. In the team's first game of 2025 without star wideout Tyreek Hill (knee), Waddle stepped in admirably as the number one option in the passing game for Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Waddle now has 23 catches for 295 yards and three touchdowns through five games in 2025. With Hill set to miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, Waddle could be a must-start fantasy wide receiver the rest of the way.

Oct 4 9:50am CT

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is set to be his team's top wide receiver target the rest of the season after Tyreek Hill (knee) suffered a catastrophic knee injury last week on Monday Night Football. Waddle was already posting strong numbers with either five or six targets in each game this season. He hauled in 17 of his 23 targets for catches, racking up 185 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He could get to double-digit targets per game if he gets enough of Hill's workload, making him a solid WR2 with WR1 upside. Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins are running a conservative, short-passing offense and may rely more on De'Von Achane in the running game if playing from ahead this week in Carolina. When the Dolphins have to go pass-heavy, Waddle could be a top-10 receiver, since he's already a goal-line and red zone threat. This week's road matchup against the Panthers is tricky since the Dolphins could play from ahead, and the Panthers have been beatable on the ground. While he has a very high floor now that he should get more looks, this doesn't seem to set up perfectly for his breakout week quite yet. He's the WR20 this week in RotoBaller's rankings, so he's a strong second receiver in most formats this week, with higher-ceiling games potentially further down the road.
