Denver Broncos passing-game coordinator Davis Webb reached an agreement with the team on Monday to become their offensive coordinator, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN. Webb interviewed for three head-coaching jobs and also had other offensive-coordinator opportunities this cycle, but he chose to stick around in Denver under head coach Sean Payton. He'll be taking over the OC job from Joe Lombardi, who was fired following the team's AFC Championship game loss to the New England Patriots. It's a promotion for Webb, a former backup QB in the NFL, although Payton will most likely continue to call plays for the Broncos' offense in 2026. The Broncos retaining Webb is excellent news for the entire offense, particularly quarterback Bo Nix (ankle).

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (ankle) said he will be back to training in four to six weeks after a quick surgery on a simple bone break in his right ankle that he suffered in the Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills, according to Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post. The Broncos really missed Nix in their 10-7 loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship. Nix won't end up missing any time in the offseason, though, so he should be fully healed in time for organized team activities this spring. In his second full season in the NFL, the 25-year-old Oregon product completed 63.4% of his pass attempts for 3,931 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in 17 starts. Nix led the league with 612 pass attempts and also seven game-winning drives. He added 356 rushing yards and five scores on 83 rushing attempts. Nix was the overall QB7 for fantasy managers and will be in play as a midrange QB1 target in 2026 as he heads into his third NFL season.

Denver Broncos passing-game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Davis Webb is receiving some serious interest around the NFL this cycle for not only head-coaching jobs, but also offensive-coordinator positions. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that after Webb interviewed this week for the Las Vegas Raiders' and Buffalo Bills' head-coaching jobs, he received interview requests for offensive-coordinator jobs with the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, and Baltimore Ravens. The former backup QB is a hot, rising name in the coaching ranks after the work he's done with Bo Nix in Denver. The Broncos appear intent on not letting Webb leave, though, after firing offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi on Tuesday. The expectation is that head coach Sean Payton will try to promote Davis to OC to keep his bright offensive mind around.

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (ankle) is expected to be sidelined for 12 weeks as he recovers from surgery on his broken ankle, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com. Nix suffered the injury during last week's Divisional Round win overthe Buffalo Bills and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs. The second-year signal-caller finished the regular season with a 63.4% completion rate, 3,931 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He also rushed for 356 yards and an additional five scores. Nix didn't take a very big leap during his second season in the league, but that was partly because he already had such an impressive rookie year. While he won't be available for the AFC Championship against the Patriots or the Super Bowl, should Denver qualify, Nix will be healthy and ready for training camp. In the meantime, Jarett Stidham will step up as the Broncos' starter.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton said that surgery "went well" for quarterback Bo Nix (ankle), according to Nick Kosmider of The Athletic. Nix had surgery for a broken bone in his right ankle that he suffered at the tail end of Saturday's overtime victory over the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round. The 25-year-old had one of his best games of the season, too, going 26-for-46 for 279 passing yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. The Broncos haven't given a timetable for Nix's recovery, but we'd be surprised if he wasn't ready to go for the start of the 2026 campaign, where he'll easily be a top-12 fantasy QB. With Nix out for the AFC Championship this weekend against the visiting New England Patriots, the Broncos will go with backup Jarrett Stidham, who hasn't started a game in the NFL since 2023.

Broncos' QB Bo Nix scored 27.85 fantasy points in Saturday's playoff win against the Bills. Nix threw for 279 yards on 26-of-46 with three touchdowns and one interception. Nix scored at least 25 fantasy points five times during the regular season.

Dynasty | Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is out for the season with a broken ankle. Dynasty Analysis: The stunning development came after he threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns in an overtime win over the Bills, catapulting the Broncos into the AFC title game. It's a stunning turn of events as he apparently broke it the play before throwing a go-ahead touchdown pass to Marvin Mims. Nix will be out for the remainder of the playoffs and have surgery this week. This injury happened late but a broken bone likely won't have any impact on his availability for next season. As such, he'll remain a QB1 in dynasty leagues.

Jan 17 9:30pm ET

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (ankle) suffered a broken bone in his ankle during Saturday's Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills, according to head coach Sean Payton. Nix has been ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs. This is shocking news out of Denver, as Nix's injury wasn't immediately evident during the Broncos' overtime win. Payton said that the second-year quarterback suffered the injury on the second-to-last play of the game, finishing the contest with a 56.5% completion rate, 279 passing yards, 29 rushing yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. This is a crushing loss for the Broncos, who can credit Nix as one of the main reasons why they finished with the best record in the AFC and advanced to the conference title game. His absence will force the Broncos to start Jarrett Stidham next Sunday against either the Patriots or Texans. Stidham's last NFL pass attempt came in 2023, when he threw for 272 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a loss to the Raiders. The short-term implications of Nix's broken bone are massive. From a long-term perspective, though, he should make a full recovery in time for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season.

Broncos quarterback Bo Nix suffered a broke bone in his ankle and will miss the remainder of the playoffs, according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter.

Jan 16 11:00pm ET

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix set a new career high with 3,931 passing yards in his second year as the Broncos' full-time starting QB, but he had four fewer touchdown passes in the same number of games (17). The 25-year-old ran for fewer yards (356), too, while scoring one more TD (five). Nix heads into the playoffs after a first-round bye in the Wild-Card round to face the Buffalo Bills, and he does so with little momentum after two vanilla performances to close out the regular season in wins over the Chiefs and Chargers, in which he didn't go over 182 passing yards with one total touchdown. The Oregon product had back-to-back 300-yard games before that, though, and Denver will most likely be forced to open up their offense on Saturday. Nix finished as the QB7 in overall fantasy points in 2025, but he'll be on the lower end of QB options in playoff formats against a Bills defense that allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing passers during 17 regular-season games.

Jan 9 3:30pm ET

Across 17 games in 2025, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix completed 63.4% of his pass attempts for 3,931 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. The 25-year-old also provided value with his legs, rushing for 356 yards and five touchdowns on 83 attempts. However, Nix closed the regular season with two of his least impressive passing performances of the year. Across two games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers, Nix threw for just 323 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Nix was also not particularly efficient throughout the season, averaging 6.4 yards per pass on an NFL-leading 612 attempts. The Broncos have a bye through the first round of the AFC playoffs, so Nix's first postseason opponent is not yet known. However, his poor close to the regular season and season-long inefficiency as a passer could make him tough for fantasy managers in playoff leagues to trust.

Jan 6 10:50pm ET

The Las Vegas Raiders requested an interview with Denver Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb for their head-coaching job, sources told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Webb is only 30 years old and spent six years as an NFL QB before going straight into coaching. Pelissero thinks Webb is a "fascinating candidate" who "has been on the fast track." After firing veteran head coach Pete Carroll on Black Monday, minority owner Tom Brady and general manager John Spytek might be going the unconventional approach to hiring their next head coach, especially since they are expected to draft Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in April. Webb has worked with Russell Wilson (one season) and Bo Nix in his three years in Denver. This will be his first head-coaching interview. The Raiders are also expected to interview Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak for the position.

Dec 26 3:20pm ET

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix had another clutch showing in their 20-13 win against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17. Nix had a mediocre day through the air, completing 26 of 38 pass attempts for 182 yards with one touchdown and one interception, but elevated his overall fantasy day with a new season high in rushes, taking nine carries for 42 yards and a touchdown. Before the second half, Nix had no touchdowns and one interception. The Broncos have now won 12 of their last 13 games, and only three of those games were decided by more than one score. In Week 18, the Broncos will host the Los Angeles Chargers to end the regular season.

Dec 24 3:30pm ET

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix travels to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas in Week 17. Last time Nix faced the Chiefs in Week 11, he put up 295 passing yards with no touchdowns, no interceptions, and added three carries for eight yards. This time around, Nix will be facing a very different Chiefs team that has been riddled with injuries and is coming off a 26-9 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 16, in which rookie quarterback Cam Ward had a season-high pass completion percentage of 75%. Despite facing what is statistically considered a top-five defense in the NFL since the Chiefs are giving up the fourth fewest points per game on average at 19.6, Nix should be able to carry his passing momentum from Week 16 into this matchup. RotoBaller ranks Nix as the QB11 overall for Week 17 matchups.

From RotoBaller

Dec 22 12:20pm ET

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix put up a new career high in passing yards with 352 in the 34-20 loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16. In a matchup where it was expected that the passing game would be relied upon, Nix did all he could to give the Broncos a prime opportunity to extend their win streak to 12 straight. Nix completed 28 of 47 pass attempts for 352 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and added 11 rushing yards on four carries. Wide receiver Courtland Sutton was the favorite in targets with 12, and did have one critical drop that could've been a second touchdown for Nix. While the fantasy numbers were mediocre for a semifinal matchup, Nix should find himself in a bounce-back spot against the defeated Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17.

From RotoBaller

Dec 21 7:30pm ET

Denver's QB Bo Nix passed for 352 yards on 28-of-47 with one touchdown in Sunday's loss against the Jaguars. It was Nix's 2nd consecutive 300+ yard passing game. He has averaged 327 yards passing in those games.

Dec 20 2:20pm ET

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix will look to stay hot as they will host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16. After lighting up the Green Bay Packers in Week 15 with 302 passing yards and four passing touchdowns, Nix should theoretically have an easier time moving the offense down the field against a defense ranking 20th overall in average passing yards allowed per game at 222.2. Nix will also get rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant back into the lineup for Week 16, which could lead to even more open options to choose from throughout the day. Fantasy managers should feel confident starting Nix as RotoBaller's QB11 overall for Week 16 rankings.

From RotoBaller

Dec 16 4:25pm ET

Denver's QB Bo Nix scored an astounding 32.10 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 15 win against the Packers. Nix threw for 302 yards on 23-of-34 with four touchdowns. It's the 4th time this season Nix scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
