Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba had eight catches for the third straight week and finished with 123 yards and a touchdown in his team's 27-19 win on Monday. JSN has been one of the top receivers in the league this year, and Sam Darnold continues to give him plenty of targets. He has 36 targets over the last three weeks and has emerged as a true WR1 in Seattle after the departure of D.K. Metcalf this past offseason. Smith-Njigba and the Seahawks are on a bye this week, but he'll look to pick up where he left off in a great matchup in Week 10 against the Commanders. After Washington, Seattle faces the Cardinals, Rams, Titans, and Vikings. At this point, Smith-Njigba is an every-week lock in your lineup, aside from his bye this week.

Oct 17 8:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba draws a tough matchup in Week 7 against the Houston Texans. The Texans boast one of the best defenses in the NFL, particularly against the pass. However, Smith-Njigba has been matchup-proof in 2025. He has yet to score less than 13 PPR fantasy points in a game this season. That is due to JSN's uncanny ability to separate and his clear chemistry with quarterback Sam Darnold. Smith-Njigba's high floor is buoyed by his 56 targets, which is good for No. 5 in the NFL. Additionally, Smith-Njigba is averaging an eye-popping 16.6 yards per catch. He is not the underneath threat that he has been through two seasons in the NFL. He is catching deep bombs, which are leading to big plays and touchdowns. The Texans may be able to keep a lid on JSN over the top. However, his volume and route-running savvy will make him a safe WR1 this week.

Seahawks' WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba scored an impressive 30.20 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 6 win in Jacksonville. Smith-Njigba caught eight passes for 162 yards with one touchdown.

Oct 12 4:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver continued his unbelievable 2025 campaign with a 162-yard explosion against the Jaguars in Week 6. Smith-Njigba is positioning himself in such a way that gives him a legitimate shot at finishing as the WR1 overall in fantasy. JSN has developed a quick chemistry with quarterback Sam Darnold. He has scored at least 18.3 PPR fantasy points in every game but one this season. He is already on pace to top his career high of six touchdown receptions as well. Smith-Njigba's production is matchup proof. He seems to be able to find room against zone coverage and beat defensive backs in man coverage with ease. Darnold continues to look for Smith-Njigba in every situation. Houston will provide an interesting test for JSN in Week 7, but he should absolutely remain in every lineup.

Oct 12 3:30pm CT

Seahawks' WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba had 8 receptions for 162 yards with one touchdown for a trememdous 20.2 yards per catch in Sunday's win in Jacksonville. It was Smith-Njigba's 2nd consecutive 100+ yard receiving game. He has averaged 8 catches with 147 receiving yards in those games.

Oct 11 9:00am CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is in line to continue his excellent 2025 campaign in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars have a much-improved defense this season, especially in the passing game. However, they have not played a passing offense as potent as Seattle's, and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes just had a lot of luck against this team in Week 5. Smith-Njigba is proving to be matchup-proof. He is a fantastic possession wide receiver who can beat man coverage and find holes in zone coverage with ease. He should have no issues continuing that trend in Week 6. JSN has yet to earn fewer than five targets or 79 yards in a game this season. That type of floor is fantastic for a fantasy team. He has also scored in two of his last three games. As long as the touchdowns continue to flow, Smith-Njigba will remain among the top wideouts in fantasy football.

Seahawks' WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba scored 27.20 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 5 loss against the Buccaneers. Smith-Njigba caught eight passes for 132 yards with one touchdown.

Oct 5 8:20pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba continued his excellent start to the 2025 season by recording eight catches for 132 yards and a touchdown on nine targets against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5. Smith-Njigba has been one of the most productive wide receivers in the NFL so far this season. Through five games, the 23-year-old has 34 catches for 535 yards and two touchdowns on 43 targets. Smith-Njigba profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver regardless of opponent.

Seahawks' WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba had 8 receptions for 132 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's loss against the Buccaneers.

Oct 3 7:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba should have no problem getting free against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The Buccaneers are currently sixth against opposing wideouts in fantasy, but they have not exactly faced a potent passing offense to this point. The Seahawks have been relatively efficient passing the ball thus far this season. A great connection between JSN and quarterback Sam Darnold has anchored that efficiency. Smith-Njigba is currently the WR7 in fantasy with only one touchdown. He has been a target monster in an offense that has been able to move the ball up and down the field. The Buccaneers have an equally competent offense, which suggests that this game could be somewhat of a high-scoring game. If the Seahawks are airing it out consistently on Sunday, Smith-Njigba should produce as a WR1 again.

Sep 25 11:40pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught four of his five targets for 79 yards during Thursday's Week 4 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He also rushed for 11 yards on three carries. All in all, it was a solid showing from Smith-Njigba, but nothing special. Additionally, fantasy managers might be surprised to see that the young receiver only had five targets and four catches. Both of these numbers tied for the team-high, but it's still noteworthy for fantasy football. Managers should rest assured that the Seahawks used a run-heavy approach on Thursday because they were leading by two scores for a large portion of the game. As a result, there weren't many passes to go around; Sam Darnold only threw the ball 26 times. Smith-Njigba's receiving volume should take a big jump in a potential shootout next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He continues to rank as a low-end WR1 for fantasy football.

Sep 24 8:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is in a great position to rack up points once again in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals. Smith-Njigba has posted at least 96 receiving yards in each game this season. The Cardinals just let 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall run all over them in Week 3. Top wide receivers on the Panthers and the Saints have also enjoyed success against Arizona's secondary this season. JSN has clear chemistry with quarterback Sam Darnold. Additionally, Smith-Njigba has clearly leveled up this year. He looks bigger, stronger, and faster, and his routes are crisp. He has turned into about as reliable a wide receiver as a quarterback could ask for. The Seahawks play on Thursday Night Football, which often is a recipe for lesser offensive output. However, NFL stars typically shine regardless of when game day is. As such, JSN should have a great day, even if the offense around him struggles. He is a set-and-forget WR1 at this point in the season.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba continued his tremendous start to the 2025 season in his team's 44-13 Week 3 win over the New Orleans Saints. Smith-Njigba hauled in five catches on six targets for 96 yards and a touchdown, bringing his season totals to 22 catches, 323 yards, and one score. The 23-year-old was a late addition to Seattle's injury report leading into Sunday due to an illness, but he still managed to dominate. Smith-Njigba is a must-start fantasy wide receiver and may be establishing himself as one of the league's truly elite players at the position.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (illness) is officially active for his team's Week 3 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Smith-Njigba was a late addition to the team's injury report heading into Sunday due to an illness, but it appears he'll still be able to suit up. Smith-Njigba has 17 catches for 227 yards on 23 targets through his first two games of 2025. He may see a slightly reduced snap share if he's still under the weather. Still, Smith-Njigba is a must-start fantasy wide receiver in Week 3.

Sep 21 12:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (illness) is expected to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The star receiver was added to the injury report due to the ailment and is listed as questionable, but Schefter reported that the team wanted to see how he felt, hence the late addition. Now that it seems like Smith-Njigba will play, fantasy managers can rest assured that a WR1 candidate can be locked into starting lineups.

Sep 21 7:20am CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (illness) has been downgraded to questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. Smith-Njigba is reportedly dealing with a bug that shouldn't impact his availability for this game. However, the team wants to be cautious, so they downgraded him to questionable. It sounds like the Seahawks aren't going to make a decision until closer to kickoff. If he sits, Cooper Kupp and Tory Horton would see their value skyrocket.

Sep 20 4:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (illness) has been added to the injury report and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, according to Seahawks PR. The Seahawks' WR1 has had a strong start, ranking second in the league in receiving yards with 227 on 17 receptions. He also leads the league with a 28% target share. If Smith-Njigba can't play, fantasy managers should see an increase in targets for veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp and rookie Tory Horton.
