Ridley had some quarterback issues to deal with in Tennessee but still managed to produce well once again. He hit the 1,000-yard mark and was 27th overall in fantasy receiver scoring. He had nine games with double-digit fantasy points. His fantasy numbers were held down because of a lack of scores, finding the ned zone just five times. He made a lot of big-plays with his chances, averaging a career-best 15.9 yards per carry. A new starting quarterback should be a positive for Ridley this season in Tennessee. He will continue to be the top target in the Titans offense. Ridley has two straight 1,000-yard seasons and three of four. Ridley is the complete package at receiver. He can make plays after the catch, make a big play down the field, and has plus hands. He has very good speed and is a tough cover because of his ability to do well on shorter and deep routes.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Ridley is a bit of a wild card because he plays for a poor team and gets an inexperienced quarter-back to work with once again. Just expect some up and down play. Look for his overall number to be a little better, though, making him a solid No. 2 fantasy receiver. He can get around 80 receptions for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns.
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley secured 64 of his 120 targets for 1,017 yards and four touchdowns in his first season in the Music City. While catching passes from Will Levis and Mason Rudolph, the former first-round pick finished 36th among wideouts in half-PPR fantasy points per game (11.7). Ridley ranked No. 1 in unrealized air yards (1,097) and 97th in catchable target rate (59.2%). Needless to say, his quarterback situation was not conducive to fantasy production, so No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward could be a significant upgrade. That said, despite the recent success of C.J. Stroud and Jayden Daniels, rookie quarterbacks traditionally struggle to support high-end fantasy football pass-catchers. Ridley has a wide range of outcomes in 2025, but his low-end WR3 cost in fantasy drafts makes him worth consideration. He's the clear No. 1 option in Tennessee's pass-catching group, featuring the aging Tyler Lockett and a handful of middle-round rookie receivers. Ridley has WR2 upside due to overall projected volume, but expect plenty of down weeks if you decide to pull the trigger on him.

TennesseeTitans.com's Jim Wyatt writes that Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley appears to be re-energized in his second season with the team with the addition of rookie first-round quarterback Cam Ward. Ridley has taken the first overall pick under his wing this offseason, and they have both formed a strong bond both on the field and off. For Tennessee's offense to take a step forward in 2025, the Titans will need the chemistry between Ward and Ridley to pay off after Ridley went for 64 catches, 1,017 yards and four touchdowns in his first year with the team in 2024. The 30-year-old is the clear WR1 and should continue to have a high target share, but his fantasy value will be directly impacted by how quickly Ward can adapt to the speed in the NFL. Ridley is ranked at RotoBaller a the No. 32 fantasy wideout.

Tennessee Titans WR Calvin Ridley moves and cuts in a way that rookie QB Cam Ward has never seen any receiver move and cut before. '(Ridley is) different. How he moves, everything. Now that I see what a receiver is supposed to be like, that's why I'm glad that Eli (Elic Ayomanor), Chim (Chimere Dike), Strep (Xavier Restrepo), Bryce (Oliver), all the guys in that room, I'm glad they got him because I ain't never threw to no receiver like him, who move like him, can cut like him ... he ain't selfish either. He wants the rookies, all of us, to do better than him because he's gonna end up getting his one-on-ones,' Ward said recently. Ridley's career has become a bit of an odyssey in recently, most of which is through no fault of his own. The primary thing that held him back last year was lackluster quarterback play. In 2023, he was forced into more of an X role due to injuries when his skill set is a better fit as a 'Z.' He missed 2022 due to a gambling suspension and only played five games the season before, making his 90-1,374-9 season in 2020 a bit of a distant memory. With Ward expected to raise the level of quarterback play in Tennessee, Ridley could easily be a top-20 receiver in fantasy this season.

TennesseeTitans.com's Jim Wyatt writes that Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley looks really bought in in his second season with the team. Wyatt says that Ridley looks more eager to work and embrace quarterback Cam Ward and the other rookies around him. In addition, he should benefit from having more skilled players around him in 2025. The 30-year-old wideout had his second straight 1,000-yard receiving season in 2024 and the third in his career, but he went from eight touchdowns in 2023 with Jacksonville to only four in Tennessee. There might be a little more competition for targets this year, but Ridley is still the unquestioned WR1, and he could benefit from Ward being under center instead of Will Levis. Ridley has a safe floor as a WR3/flex, but how successful he is in 2025 will ultimately come down to how consistent Ward can be in his rookie season.
