Hill had some injury issues last year and eventually tore his ACL in December, missing nine games total for the season. He was productive when on the field, having 465 total yards and six touchdowns. He made plays all over the fields as usual, having three games with 14-plus fantasy points. He even had a monster 43.7 fantasy point game in Week 11, having 188 total yards and three touchdowns in that game. Hill has a long road back form his torn ACL, though, and is 34 years old. You have to wonder how much he has left in the tank. Hill has 550-plus total yards three of five seasons. He has at least five touchdowns six straight years. When healthy, Hill plays a variety of roles offensively. Hill has good speed and is a load to bring down in the open field because of his size and strength. Hill isn't much of a thrower, lacking some accuracy and touch, especially on deeper throws. Hill is a much improved pass catcher and can be a load to bring down as a running back because of his size. He does well in goal-line situations, giving him good touchdown potential.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Hill is a big risk this year as he returns from a major injury and is nearing the end of his career. But he might be worth a late-round gamble in deeper formats. He always has good touchdown potential and can rack up the total yards in a variety of ways when playing. Look for around 300 total yards and a few scores.

New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill (knee) suffered a brutal knee injury that caused his ACL to tear and other damage in Week 13 of 2024. He's reportedly set to miss all the Saints offseason activities, and it's still up in the air whether he remains with the team at all. The polarizing fantasy football side of Hill saw him record 42.5 PPR fantasy points in Week 11 last season, after having just two games of over 10 points before that week. Hill's fantasy stock for 2025 has appropriately completely tumbled. He's 34 years old and will turn 35 in August. Players of his age coming off of devastating knee injuries have a remarkably difficult task to face to return to fantasy relevance. Hill should probably be ignored in redraft leagues -- it's not even clear if he will be healthy in Week 1, and the team will have plenty of reasons to ease him in rather than risk further injury. Even if he ends up moving to a better landing spot, he shouldn't be worth drafting.
