Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall had 133 rushing yards, two catches, 14 receiving yards, four passing yards and three total touchdowns in a win against the Bengals. Dynasty Analysis: Finally. Hall had been stuck in neutral most of the season as the Jets struggled to do anything offensively but the banged up Bengals proved to be exactly what he needed in the end. With as bad as the Jets have been, this is quite likely going to be the best game he posts all season and while dynasty managers still hope he gets traded, they were rewarded for sticking with him for at least one more week. Hall's ranking and ADP drop will pause for at least a week.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall posted an outstanding performance during Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hall hasn't found much success on the ground lately, but had no issues in Week 8. Hall rushed 18 times for 133 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. He also hauled in two receptions for an additional seven yards through the air, but that wasn't all. The 24-year-old threw the game-winning touchdown pass to tight end Mason Taylor. Hall literally did a little bit of everything during this victory. He'll head into a bye week on a high note before playing the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.

Oct 26 10:40am CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction after logging a full practice on Friday. The 24-year-old has carved out a decent season when you consider how poorly the rest of the offense has performed. He had 448 rushing yards and 164 receiving yards so far, ranking as the overall RB19 in PPR leagues. His ranking would be even higher if not for the fact that he hasn't scored a single touchdown in 2025. Hall's volume and pure talent keep him in the RB2 tier for Week 8 against Cincinnati, but the woes of the Jets' offense, led by Justin Fields, make it impossible to have full confidence in the Iowa State product.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Bengals. The 24-year-old was limited to 38 yards off 11 carries in the Week 7 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He also picked up a knee injury, limiting him in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. While Hall managed to log a full session on Friday, his presence still wasn't enough to dodge a questionable designation for Week 8. The Jets' injury report is loaded, with Garrett Wilson (knee), Tyrod Taylor (knee), and Josh Reynolds (hip) all ruled out. As a result, it could be a busy day for Hall versus a Bengals defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing backs throughout the 2025 campaign, giving him plenty of upside for managers in any format.

Oct 25 3:00am CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) is in store for an excellent Week 8 matchup with the hosting Cincinnati Bengals. Hall picked up a minor knee issue in last weekend's loss to the Panthers that held him to a season-low in snap share (54%). Per head coach Aaron Glenn, he's trending toward suiting up for Sunday's contest, and the Jets could use him with wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) set to miss another appearance. If Hall is active, he'll be poised for a significant workload against a very beatable Bengals defense. Through seven weeks, Cincinnati has afforded opposing rushing attacks the sixth-most yards on the ground per game (137.3), and the second-most points per game (30.6). This is a superb spot for Hall, although his touchdown upside remains low in a struggling Jets' attack. The 24-year-old lands as RotoBaller's PPR RB16 for his meeting with the Bengals.

Oct 24 11:40am CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) is listed as questionable to play on Sunday in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Eric Allen of NewYorkJets.com. However, head coach Aaron Glenn said that Hall is trending in the right direction to play this week. Hall came out of the Week 7 loss to the Carolina Panthers a little dinged up, but Glenn called him day-to-day earlier this week. Although the 24-year-old was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, he appears to be on the right side of questionable to face the Bengals. It's good news for the 0-7 Jets, who have ruled out top receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) for the second straight game. The Bengals' defense doesn't pose a serious threat, but Hall's upside has been capped this year mainly because of how bad the Jets' offense has been. It's still unclear if Tyrod Taylor (knee) or Justin Fields will start at quarterback this week. At best, Hall should be considered an RB2 in fantasy in Week 8.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) was limited in practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week while he manages a knee injury, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. Head coach Aaron Glenn called Hall day-to-day earlier this week, but he could come down with a questionable tag for this weekend's game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday if he is unable to upgrade to a full practice on Friday. Ultimately, Hall should play in Week 8, but his status is worth monitoring going into Friday. The Jets' offense has been a mess in 2025, which has torpedoed the 24-year-old's fantasy value. Veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor could make the start over Justin Fields against the Bengals this weekend, but the Jets are trending towards missing receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) for a second straight game. At this point, a trade out of New York might be the only thing to save Hall's fantasy value this season.

New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said that running back Breece Hall (undisclosed) is day-to-day on Wednesday as the team begins preparations to face the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. Hall, whose name has been thrown around in trade rumors with the deadline approaching, came out of the Week 7 loss to the Carolina Panthers with some bumps and bruises, but he should be fine to suit up this weekend against the Bengals. The 24-year-old hasn't been awful this year as a runner, but the Jets' offense has been abysmal, especially in recent weeks. Hall just hasn't had any room to run, and the team's non-existent passing attack has been a big reason why. He had 11 carries for only 38 yards last Sunday, adding two catches for 14 yards. Hall should have more room to run against Cincy, but the Jets moving to backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor won't inspire much confidence.

NFL teams are monitoring the 0-7 New York Jets ahead of this year's trade deadline, and names that teams are keeping an eye on include running back Breece Hall, wide receiver Allen Lazard, and defenders Quincy Williams, Jermaine Johnson II, Will McDonald IV, and Michael Carter II, sources tell Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports. "There's an element of trying to figure out who are Glenn's guys are and who aren't. Remember when Detroit suddenly traded T.J. Hockenson? A building block from the last regime is not going to be a guaranteed building block in this one," one source said. The Jets' 2025 season has already gone off the rails in Glenn's first year at the helm, and it appears that quarterback Justin Fields will be benched going into Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals in favor of veteran Tyrod Taylor. Hall hasn't been bad as the Jets' RB1, but their lack of a passing attack has led to defenses stacking the box to stop him. He would almost certainly benefit from a change of scenery from a fantasy standpoint.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is a little banged up coming out of the Week 7 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, but head coach Aaron Glenn said the RB should be "fine" to play in Week 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. It was another ugly showing for the Jets offense on Sunday in the 13-6 loss to the Panthers, and Hall had only 11 carries for 38 yards while adding two catches on three targets for an additional 14 yards through the air. Opposing defenses have not had to honor the pass at all when facing the Jets this year, which has made things even more difficult for Hall, who still does not have a touchdown through seven weeks of the 2025 campaign. The 24-year-old is averaging 4.5 yards a carry for 448 rushing yards on his 99 rushing attempts, adding 19 catches for 164 yards. Although the Jets have a favorable matchup against Cincy in Week 8, Hall has now been held under 60 total yards in four of seven games.

Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall had 38 rushing yards, two catches and 14 receiving yards in a loss to the Panthers. Dynasty Analysis: The Jets are a mess and Hall is in the midst of a simply terrible season as a result. He's gone from a potential RB1 to hardly playable in dynasty leagues at this point. He needs to be traded prior to the deadline to salvage any kind of return this season and the Jets have to be considering it at this point. Hall is likely going to be playing elsewhere next season, so dynasty managers could have a buy low opportunity at the moment.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Oct 17 7:50pm CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is a candidate to see an increased workload in this Sunday's home game against the Carolina Panthers. The Iowa State product fell victim to a staunch Broncos defensive unit last weekend and will get another stiff test in Week 7 in Carolina. Hall surprisingly wasn't targeted in New York's loss to Denver, but that should change this week as the team is expected to be without wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee). The Panthers' rush defense is one of the better ones in the league currently (ninth-fewest yards per game), although they haven't done well in limiting their opposition's scoring. Volume shouldn't be an issue for Hall, but an inefficient Jets' offense has held him back - and out of the end zone - through six weeks. This contest is as good as any for him to end that drought finally, though he'll take a slight step back this week with the Jets' offense not at 100%. He's RotoBaller's PPR RB14 ahead of his matchup with Carolina.

Oct 15 10:20am CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is the name that comes up most often in league-wide running back trade talks, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano. Hall is in the final year of his current contract with the 0-6 Jets, so he's a logical candidate to get moved before the NFL trade deadline. The 24-year-old has recorded 560 yards from scrimmage on 105 total touches through six games this season, although he's yet to find the end zone. A move to a better team would likely help Hall's touchdown production, although he could end up splitting more backfield work depending on the destination. If Hall were to get moved, Jets running back Isaiah Davis would likely take on a huge share of the backfield snaps in New York. In deep leagues, Davis is a stash candidate who could pay off big time for fantasy managers down the stretch.

Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall had 59 rushing yards and no catches in a loss to the Broncos. Dynasty Analysis: Anyone with Hall was hoping the loss of Braelon Allen would open up some more scoring opportunities for Hall but the Jets offense has been hard to watch. Hall himself is having a down season as he's now gone six straight games to start the season without scoring, despite having a solid yards per carry average. Negative game scripts and defenses keying on him haven't helped. At this point, anyone with Hall needs to hope he gets traded as his dynasty value is going to be massively affected by the trade deadline.
