Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 15 of his 34 passes for 250 yards and an interception in a 28-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 9.
Fantasy Spin: Mahomes had been on fire coming into the game, but the Bills kept him from throwing a touchdown pass for the first time this season. Mahomes should have plenty more big games in the future, but he does face a tough Denver defense following the team's Week 10 bye.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 9. Mahomes continued his dominant run in last week's contest against the Washington Commanders. The Chiefs quarterback completed 25 of 34 pass attempts (74%) for 299 yards and three touchdowns in the 28-7 victory. Mahomes has now completed at least 70% of his passes in four straight games. The 30-year-old will now face the Bills, who allow the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. That said, the Kansas City offense has been rolling, and they face the fourth-highest scoring team in the league on a points-per-game basis. Mahomes can have a ceiling performance in a matchup with the second-highest Over/Under of the week. Mahomes is ranked QB1 in our RotoBaller rankings, making him a must-start player this week
From RotoBaller
Chiefs' QB Patrick Mahomes scored 27.95 fantasy points in Monday's Week 8 win against the Commanders. Mahomes threw for 299 yards on 25-of-34 with three touchdowns and two interceptions. It's the 6th time this season Mahomes scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 25 of his 34 passes for 299 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions versus the Washington Commanders in Week 8. Mahomes also ran four times for 30 yards.
Fantasy Spin: Monday night got off to an inauspicious start as KC's first two drives both ended in interceptions, though the second one deflected off of Travis Kelce's hands for a hard-luck pick. Mahomes was unperturbed, rallying the Chiefs to 28 points as they won for the fifth time in six games. With a full complement of receivers now at his disposal, Mahomes looks locked in, and he has firmly reestablished himself as a high-end QB1 -- and you could make a case he's deserving of being viewed as the overall QB1.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 25 of 34 pass attempts for 299 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions while adding four rushes for 30 yards in a 28-7 Monday night win over the Washington Commanders. Mahomes had a rocky first half, throwing interceptions on each of the Chiefs' first two drives, although the second one wasn't his fault as it doinked off of Travis Kelce's hands right into Bobby Wagner's lap. In the second half, the superstar quarterback put on a masterclass, continuously extending plays and finding the open man. He had only two incompletions in the second half and had a near-perfect passer rating at 154.3. Mahomes effectively distributed to his top three targets, with Rashee Rice and Kelce both going over 90 yards and scoring touchdowns, and involving Xavier Worthy for five catches and 53 yards. Kansas City's offense is in top form, and now they head on the road for an epic Week 9 showdown against the Buffalo Bills.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will take on the Washington Commanders on Monday night in Week 8. Mahomes and the Chiefs dominated the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, defeating them 31-0. The Chiefs quarterback completed 26 of 35 pass attempts (74%) for 286 yards and three touchdowns last week while also gaining 28 yards on the ground. Mahomes continues to one-up himself each week, establishing a new season-high in completion rate while racking up his second-highest passing yardage total of the year. The Kansas City superstar should continue rolling this week against the Commanders, who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. With a plethora of receiving options, Mahomes should continue to thrive as one of the most valuable quarterbacks in fantasy. Mahomes is ranked QB1 again in our RotoBaller rankings, making him a must-start option on Monday night.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City's QB Patrick Mahomes scored 29.10 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 7 win against the Raiders. Mahomes threw for 286 yards on 26-of-35 with three touchdowns. It's the 5th time this season Mahomes scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 26 of his 35 pass attempts for 286 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. He also rushed for 28 yards and took just one sack. Mahomes looked terrific in the commanding 31-0 divisional victory, showcasing an ability to connect with several of his receivers. Most notably, he found Rashee Rice for seven completions and two touchdowns in the receiver's return from a six-game suspension. With one more weapon at his disposal, Mahomes has the Chiefs well-positioned to make a push for the AFC West title and No. 1 seed in the conference. From a fantasy perspective, he continues to be a mid-to-high QB1.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes completed 26-of-35 passes for 286 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders before donning the baseball cap in the final few minutes with a lopsided score on the board. QB Gardner Minshew, a former Raiders backup, mopped up.
Fantasy Spin: Mahomes has been coming alive lately, showing signs that his days as a top-tier QB1 aren't necessarily done. It helps that Rashee Rice returned from a six-game suspension and lengthy injury, and those two hooked up for two scores.
From TheHuddle
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will face the Las Vegas Raiders at home in Week 7. Mahomes had another dazzling performance in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions, passing for 257 yards and three touchdowns with a 73.3% completion rate. The Chiefs quarterback also added 32 yards and a score on the ground against the Lions. After another great game, Mahomes is the highest-scoring quarterback in fantasy through the first six weeks. The 30-year-old should be able to keep the momentum rolling in Week 7 against the Raiders. The Raiders have not been a great matchup for quarterbacks, allowing the eighth-fewest points to the position, but that shouldn't be an issue for Mahomes with the return of Rashee Rice this week. The team's presumed WR1 is set to make his 2025 debut after a six-game suspension, and that can only help Mahomes continue to produce. The Chiefs are favored by nearly two touchdowns, so this isn't expected to be a competitive matchup, but there is reason for optimism. Kansas City has the highest neutral pass rate in the league, so if they're scoring points, it's likely coming from Mahomes' arm. Mahomes is ranked QB1 in our RotoBaller rankings, so roll him out with confidence this weekend.
