New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson's long-awaited emergence finally happened during last Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. The rookie rushed for 75 yards on 10 carries, with his best play being a 27-yard run. He wasn't involved in the passing game, nor did he lead the team in touches, but he was far more efficient than Rhamondre Stevenson and proved that he can excel even against a strong run defense like Cleveland's. An increased rushing workload is a good sign for Henderson going forward, as he should continue to earn more snaps on a wide variety of downs. His 21 percent snap share from last weekend is bound to increase, too. The biggest area of focus for Henderson now is ball security, as he lost his first career fumble against Cleveland. With that said, Stevenson hasn't been any better, losing three fumbles of his own in 2025. Moving forward, Henderson should continue to eat into Stevenson's workload while emerging as a fantasy football threat. He should be added off waivers in leagues with at least 10 teams, and he could be a worthwhile RB3/flex option in leagues with at least 12-14 teams when he takes on the Falcons in Week 9.

Dynasty | Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson had 75 rushing yards in a win against Cleveland. Dynasty Analysis: He also lost a fumble. Henderson had ten carries, which was great. However, you can't really evaluate much from this one as they blew out the Browns 32-13 and just about everyone played in the blowout. We'll see if Henderson can build on this but he's been disappointing overall this season. He remains a high-profile hold in dynasty leagues but his rookie ranking slide should at least take a one-week pause.

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson was finally able to break through on the ground during Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Before this game, Henderson was held to 27 rushing yards or less in each of his last three games. In Week 8, Henderson rushed 10 times for 75 yards in the win over the Browns. It was a nice outing for the rookie back that hasn't seen much success early in the season. The hope is that this will lead to more carries for Henderson going forward. However, he'll still be stuck splitting up the carries with Rhamondre Stevenson, so his ceiling is limited.

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson saw his snap share decrease last weekend, so his fantasy outlook remains relatively bleak for Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. The rookie played just 14 percent of the offensive snaps, which was his lowest mark so far this year. He finished with two carries and zero targets while teammate Rhamondre Stevenson had 20 touches, albeit with decent efficiency. While Stevenson has been playing well, the Patriots didn't draft Henderson to ride the bench, so his usage has been quite confusing. Until we see Henderson carve out a near-50 percent snap share and represent a threat to Stevenson's position atop the depth chart, the rookie can be avoided in fantasy football. That's especially true this week against the Browns, who have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Redraft and dynasty managers would be wise to leave him on their bench, as he is a solid handcuff and possesses long-term upside.

New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson played a season-low 14% of the offensive snaps in the Week 7 blowout win over the Tennessee Titans, and he watched backfield mate Rhamondre Stevenson handle a season-high 75% snap share. The second-round rookie had a season-low two rushing attempts for five yards and wasn't targeted in the passing game for the first time in seven weeks. Per the Boston Herald's Doug Kyed, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said Henderson's lack of involvement was "circumstantial" and that the Ohio State product should see more of a normal role this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. The Pats essentially went with the hot hand in Stevenson in Week 7 after he established a nice rhythm as the lead back. Henderson has plenty to work on and is only averaging 3.6 yards per carry in his first NFL season, and right now, there's no clear path for him to unseat Stevenson as the lead back in New England. Henderson will be a tough sell as an RB3/flex in fantasy this week against a stingy Browns defense.

New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson had only two carries (on nine offensive snaps) for five yards in the 31-13 blowout win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 7 on Sunday, while backfield mate Rhamondre Stevenson saw a season-high 18 carries and scored a touchdown. "It's just kinda how it played out. Thought Rhamondre was running well. Had some good protections. TreVeyon's gonna be a large part of what we do ... that's just kind of where it was this week," head coach Mike Vrabel said when asked about Henderson's sparse usage. It was especially concerning that Henderson barely played with the Patriots having a comfortable lead in the second half. Stevenson has had his share of fumbling issues, but he hasn't put the ball on the ground in the last two weeks and was very efficient on Sunday. The 22-year-old Henderson should get more involved in the offense eventually, but right now, it's hard to trust him as even an RB3/flex in fantasy lineups.

Oct 20 9:30am CT

New England Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson was one of the buzziest names in fantasy football after his strong preseason showing. However, the 22-year-old has failed to carve out a consistent role in his team's offense through the first seven games of his career. For the season so far, Henderson has recorded 252 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on 59 total touches. He logged just two carries in Week 7 and has failed to reach double-digit touches in four out of seven games in 2025. Henderson appears to be firmly behind veteran Rhamondre Stevenson on the running back depth chart in New England. Henderson maintains significant dynasty appeal, and deep-league redraft fantasy managers should continue to be patient as well. However, in shallow redraft leagues, Henderson might be difficult to roster given his current playing time situation.

Dynasty | Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson had five rushing yards in a win over the Titans. Dynasty Analysis: Meanwhile, Rhamondre Stevenson had 88 rushing yards and a touchdown on 20 touches. It's a stunning turn of events as Stevenson has apparently worked through his fumbling woes to take a stranglehold on the backfield. Henderson looks like a player taking a redshirt year as he has been a complete afterthought all season. His rookie ranking and ADP will take a sizeable hit this week.

Oct 18 11:30am CT

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson has continued to share backfield reps with Rhamondre Stevenson through six weeks of the 2025 season. As a result, the rookie has mostly stayed off the fantasy radar. That could change in Week 7 as Henderson has a prime opportunity to break out against the Tennessee Titans. New England is heavily favored over Tennessee, so a positive game script could lead to plenty of touches for the running backs, particularly Henderson. The Titans are pretty bad against the run, too, allowing the most rushing touchdowns and third-most fantasy points to opposing running backs in 2025. Between game script and matchup, Week 7 could offer the perfect storm for Henderson to separate himself from Rhamondre Stevenson and break out with a huge game. He's an intriguing RB3/flex with RB2 upside this week.

Dynasty | Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson had 27 rushing yards, one catch and nine receiving yards in a win against New Orleans. Dynasty Analysis: Unfortunately, it was another quiet day at the office for Henderson, who just isn't getting enough touches to make a difference in fantasy leagues. Rhamondre Stevenson had just 18 yards on 13 carries, so perhaps he'll get more time moving forward. However, he just hasn't been able to overtake Stevenson on the depth chart thus far and the Patriots are winning, so there isn't a huge sense of urgency for them to make a change. Henderson continues to simply be a hold in dynasty leagues.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Oct 11 12:00am CT

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson remains relegated to the No. 2 role on the depth chart, but he could still carve out some fantasy relevance against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. Rhamondre Stevenson lost his third fumble of the season last Sunday, which is one reason why Henderson could be given more opportunities with the football this week. The rookie will also get more snaps and touches after Antonio Gibson (knee) was placed on season-ending injured reserve. While we expect Stevenson to handle the majority of the snaps again this week, Henderson should still carve out a role for himself, especially against a New Orleans defense allowing the 11th-most rushing yards, seventh-most receiving yards, and 12th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs in 2025. Henderson is a low-end RB3/flex this week.
