Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of his 36 pass attempts for 219 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-25 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Since returning from a Week 5 bye, Rodgers has topped 15 fantasy points in three straight contests. While that doesn't make him an elite fantasy asset, he seems settled in as a steady, high-floor QB2. In Week 9, Rodgers and the Steelers will face the 7-1 Indianapolis Colts, who allow the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks as teams try to keep pace with their high-powered offense. Given Pittsburgh's recent defensive struggles, Rodgers should remain busy on Sunday and profiles as a viable streaming option.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 24-of-36 passes for 219 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers, his original NFL team.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers came up short in his attempt to beat all 32 NFL teams. He has two or more touchdown passes in each of the past three games, and he has completed 66.7 percent or better in six of his seven outings. Rodgers has been operating as a high-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues lately. He'll look to get back into the win column in Week 9 against the visiting Indianapolis Colts.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly interested in bringing back QB Aaron Rodgers for the 2026 season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. However, Rodgers is currently playing on a one-year deal and may consider retirement at the end of the year.
Fantasy Spin: The soon-to-be 42-year-old Rodgers has thrown for 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns through his first six games of the season, proving that he can still be a solid starting option in two-quarterback fantasy leagues or as a bye-week replacement. However, he should be avoided as a regular weekly option in standard formats.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has thrown 14 touchdown passes through his first six games of the season and appears set for another solid outing against the team that drafted him, the Green Bay Packers. A victory on Sunday night would make Rodgers just the fifth quarterback in NFL history to defeat all 32 teams. Though Green Bay's defense has shown flashes of excellence, it has been middle-of-the-pack against opposing signal-callers and far more effective against the run. If Pittsburgh is forced to lean on the passing game, Rodgers will have his full complement of weapons, with wide receiver Calvin Austin III (shoulder) suiting up for the first time since Week 4. While the 41-year-old can't be considered a must-start, he offers plenty of upside in this revenge spot and can be viewed as a high-end QB2 with streaming appeal.

Veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers' first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers has gone so well that the team "could rethink its 2026 quarterback plans," according to ESPN's Dan Graziano. The Steelers are definitely going to scour the draft market for a QB of the future for next year and are already doing so. Still, Graziano writes that if you ask people with the Steelers whether they'd consider bringing Rodgers back in 2026, "the answer would be a resounding yes." The future Hall of Famer has "maintained his elite ability to throw the football" and is moving much better than he did in New York with the Jets last year. Rodgers is now healthy and a full two years removed from tearing his left Achilles in 2023, and it's showing. The 41-year-old hasn't been an elite QB1 for fantasy, but he's coming off a four-touchdown performance in Week 7 against the Bengals and has a 14:5 touchdown-to-interception ratio in six games as he enters a Week 8 revenge game against his former team, the Green Bay Packers.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers turned back the clock with four touchdown passes last Thursday night in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, and now he'll be turning his focus on Sunday night in Week 8 to beating his former team, the Green Bay Packers. If Rodgers beats Green Bay, he would join Brett Favre, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning as the only QBs in NFL history to have beaten all 32 teams. Right now, Rodgers is one of seven QBs with wins over 31 franchises. Through seven weeks, the 41-year-old future Hall of Famer sits as the QB17 in average points per game. He's gone 118-for-172 passing for 1,270 yards, 14 touchdowns, and five interceptions in his six games played in his first year in the Steel City. Coming off his big Week 7 performance against Cincy, Rodgers should draw some looks off the waiver wire in single-QB leagues for his revenge game against Green Bay with six teams on bye in Week 8.

Steelers' QB Aaron Rodgers scored 27.05 fantasy points in Thursday's Week 7 loss in Cincinnati. Rodgers threw for 249 yards on 23-of-34 with four touchdowns and two interceptions. It's the 2nd time this season Rodgers scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 23 of his 34 pass attempts for 249 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions during Thursday's Week 7 loss against the Cincinnati Bengals. He also rushed for six yards and didn't take a sack. The four touchdowns worked wonders as Rodgers attempted to mount a late comeback on national television, but you could also argue that his two interceptions were the difference between a win and a loss in Cincinnati. One of the two turnovers wasn't exactly Rodgers' fault as his sideline pass was ripped out of DK Metcalf's hands, but the other came on an overthrown pass that the veteran quarterback would have loved to get back. With that being said, fantasy managers won't gripe too much about the two turnovers, as his four touchdowns were more than enough to boost his point total. He's a solid mid-range QB2 heading into Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers completed 23 of 34 passes for 249 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7. Rodgers also ran once for six yards.
Fantasy Spin: On a night that he passed Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger for fifth all-time in passing yards, Rodgers played his best game since Week 1. There were a couple of hiccups, most notably a deep shot into double coverage that was intercepted, but overall the veteran looked sharp in guiding the Steelers to 31 points. Rodgers has had inconsistent numbers this year, making him a risky option, but he's shown enough to be a competent QB2 that's usable in plus matchups. Up next is a high-profile encounter with the Packers. While Green Bay wouldn't be considered a plus matchup based on statistics or personnel, Rodgers is famously motivated by perceived slights, and this will likely be the only chance he has to face his former team. There's some lottery-ticket potential here.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has played turnover-free football over his past two games and is primed for another solid showing against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. Cincinnati's defense has struggled this season, allowing the second-most passing yards and 11th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Although he'll once again be without wide receiver Calvin Austin III (shoulder), Rodgers has developed strong chemistry with DK Metcalf while also finding success targeting his tight ends and running backs. The 41-year-old is likely available in most single-QB formats but can be streamed as a solid option in this divisional clash.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers (non-injury) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 15, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.
Fantasy Spin: Rodgers has not posted great numbers this season but is averaging two passing touchdowns per game and could have some success against the Cincinnati Bengals. He can be a starting option in two-quarterback leagues but should be avoided in standard leagues.
From TheHuddle
