Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten (head) has been cleared to return to his team's Week 14 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Tuten briefly exited the game and was evaluated for a concussion, but evidently the rookie running back passed the necessary tests to return to the field. The Jaguars have split backfield playing time this season between Tuten, Travis Etienne Jr., and LeQuint Allen Jr., with Etienne Jr. serving as the team's feature back. Jacksonville may be cautious with Tuten's workload for the remainder of Week 14, but he has been cleared of a concussion.

Dec 7 1:10pm CT

The Jacksonville Jaguars said running back Bhayshul Tuten (head) is being evaluated for a concussion during the team's home date against the Indianapolis Colts. The rookie did not have a catch or a carry at the time of his departure, but took a big hit on a kickoff return. Travis Etienne has handled all of the Jags' rushing efforts, which included two first-half touchdowns. Tuten has mostly been a stash in dynasty formats, so the injury shouldn't have too much impact on managers looking to optimize their rosters before the playoffs in standard formats.

Dec 7 8:00am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten experienced a breakout performance during the Week 11 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers. The rookie back rushed 15 times for 74 yards and a touchdown during the victory. Outside of that, Tuten has been held to under 45 rushing yards in every other game. He remains the No. 2 option with Travis Etienne Jr. leading the way. The 23-year-old is set to back up Etienne once again in Sunday's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. Most weeks, Tuten doesn't even see 30 percent of the offensive snaps. However, the forecast for Jacksonville calls for heavy rain, so Tuten could see more opportunities as the Jaguars might lean on the run more with inclement weather. Tuten hasn't been consistent enough to trust yet and is a low-end flex option in Week 14.

Dec 5 11:20pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten broke out in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers, tallying a season-high 15 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown. The rookie fourth-rounder left the game early with an ankle injury, but Tuten was outcarrying Travis Etienne Jr. 15 to 12 before exiting. Tuten also played a season-high 42.9% of the snaps in the first three quarters. Fantasy managers hoped that this was the beginning of a second-half breakout for the dynamic running back, but Tuten hasn't seen the same usage in the past two weeks. His snap share has dipped back to 26.3%, just marginally above his season average of 22.7%. The 23-year-old also hasn't been as efficient in the past two games, totaling 36 yards on 16 touches, but he has still earned some goal-line usage and was able to punch in a touchdown last week against the Tennessee Titans. His role hasn't quite expanded yet, and he remains firmly behind Etienne. Tuten holds low-end flex value in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Dec 1 10:00am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten recorded his fifth touchdown of the season in his team's Week 13 win over the Tennessee Titans, but he recorded just 19 scrimmage yards on nine touches. After his breakout 74-yard game in Week 11, Tuten has now been held under 20 scrimmage yards in back-to-back weeks. The 23-year-old has flashed upside throughout the year, but he remains firmly behind Travis Etienne Jr. in the Jaguars backfield pecking order. Still, Tuten has scored three touchdowns in his last five games and would immediately profile as a must-start fantasy running back if Etienne Jr. were to suffer an injury. Tuten's standalone value is as a low-end flex, at best. However, he's worth targeting on the waiver wire as a priority handcuff option heading into Jacksonville's Week 14 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Nov 29 10:20am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten has had mixed involvement in the Jaguars rushing attack, but this week against the 1-10 Titans seems like an ideal week to get him involved. In what should be a straight-forward win, the Jaguars have a chance to get their electric rookie more involved than usual. The game scrip should also favor the running game, and the Titans have a weak rushing defense. It is a risk to start Tuten considering he is coming off a rough seven carry for 17 yards performance against the Arizona Cardinals, but that involvement is still promising enough to have faith in a bounce-back week. Anyone looking for a high-risk high-reward flex in Week 13 should be intrigued by Tuten against the Titans.

Nov 28 9:20am CT

Across 11 games this season, Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten has recorded 316 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns on 75 total touches. The 23-year-old has spent the majority of the season playing the RB2 role in Jacksonville behind veteran back Travis Etienne Jr. Two weeks ago, Tuten recorded 15 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers, looking like a real threat to Etienne Jr. However, Tuten was forced to leave the game against the Chargers with an ankle injury. In Week 12, Etienne Jr. dominated the backfield workload and put up huge numbers against the Arizona Cardinals. Heading into the team's Week 13 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, there's little reason for fantasy managers to expect the Jaguars to go away from Etienne Jr. Tuten profiles as a low-end flex option at best in Week 13.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten was unable to find much success in the running game during Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Tuten rushed the ball seven times for 17 yards in the overtime victory. It's worth noting that Tuten did carry an ankle injury into this game, so possibly that impacted his performance on the field. In Week 11, Tuten rushed for 74 yards with a touchdown in the win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The rookie back remains the backup, but should continue seeing nearly double digit carries per week. His struggles this week could make fantasy managers hesitant, but he does head into a plus matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 13.

Nov 23 8:30am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) has been cleared to play in Sunday's Week 12 contest against the Arizona Cardinals, and he'll have a terrific opportunity to build on last weekend's career-best outing. It's common for rookies to get more involved in the weeks following their team's bye, and that's exactly what we saw from Tuten. In his third game post-bye week last Sunday, the Virginia Tech product rushed 15 times for 74 yards and a touchdown, and he would have earned even more touches if he hadn't left early due to injury. Tuten and Travis Etienne Jr. showed that they can co-exist productively, and that the Jaguars' offense is at its best when they're running the ball effectively. Even with Etienne still in the mix, Tuten should be able to carve out a significant role again this Sunday. The Jaguars could go run-heavy with Travis Hunter (knee) and Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) sidelined, and they should take advantage of a Cardinals defense allowing the 11th-most fantasy points and fourth-most rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs in 2025. Tuten ranks as the RB30 in this week's RotoBaller fantasy rankings, and he should be started in most leagues with 12 or more teams.

Nov 22 2:20pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) was listed as limited in practice every day this week, but was cleared from the injury report and will play in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. Tuten finally had his breakout game of the season in Week 11 against the Chargers, handling 15 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown in the win. He injured his ankle during the game, which forced him to exit early, but it doesn't seem to be an issue. The rookie fourth-rounder played a season high 42.9% of the snaps and out-carried fellow running back Travis Etienne Jr. 15 to 12 before leaving. The dynamic rookie's role should continue to expand in the coming weeks as he has looked great in his opportunities. Etienne followed a similar pattern to Tuten this week in practice as he was limited with a shoulder injury, but heads into Sunday without an injury designation. Etienne should still serve as the RB1, but Tuten has earned more work, and it could wind up being close to a 50-50 split on Sunday in Arizona. Tuten ranks as RotoBaller's RB30 in PPR formats for Week 12.

Nov 21 6:50pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) was limited in practice all week but was cleared from Friday's final injury report and will be active in Week 12 against the hosting Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. Travis Etienne Jr. (shoulder) was limited all week, too, but he has also been cleared. The 23-year-old Tuten had a career-high 15 carries for 74 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, with his increased usage potentially having something to do with Etienne's shoulder injury. Fantasy managers want to know if Tuten's elevated workload from last weekend will continue. It remains to be seen, but the Jags figure to lean heavily on the ground game again in an excellent matchup against Arizona. Tuten should be viewed as an explosive, upside RB3/flex as he looks to stack two straight strong games.

Nov 20 12:30pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) was seen practicing on Thursday without a non-contact jersey, according to Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union. Tuten injured his ankle in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Chargers and was limited in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. It looks like the 23-year-old could be a full-go on Thursday, while Travis Etienne Jr. (shoulder) appears to be limited for the second straight day. Tuten and Etienne combined for three rushing touchdowns in the Week 11 blowout victory, and Tuten played a season-high 32% of the offensive snaps. Even if Etienne is cleared to play this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, Tuten could once again see an elevated workload that could give him RB2 upside. Tuten is rostered in only 39% of Yahoo leagues. That number should be much higher with Etienne banged up.

From RotoBaller

Nov 19 5:20pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday due to an ankle injury that he suffered late in the Week 11 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Backfield mate Travis Etienne Jr. (shoulder) was also injured on Sunday, which likely played a part in Tuten's career day. The 23-year-old had season-highs across the board in snap percentage (32%), rushing attempts (15), and rushing yards (74) while scoring his third touchdown of the year. Etienne and Tuten appear to be trending toward both playing this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, but Tuten's impressive performance against the Bolts might have earned him a bigger share of the backfield pie going forward. Tuten is only rostered in 37% of Yahoo leagues, so he's widely available and is worth a pickup with another good matchup on tap.

Nov 19 11:00am CT

Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union did not list Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) among the players who were not participating in the team's Wednesday walkthrough. Tuten was forced to exit early from his team's Week 11 win over the Los Angeles Chargers due to an ankle injury. However, his apparent on-field presence during practice on Wednesday could be a positive sign for his status in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. Before leaving the game against the Chargers, Tuten was on his way to a breakout performance with 74 rushing yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. If he is active in Week 12, it's possible that Jacksonville will continue shifting touches away from veteran back Travis Etienne and towards Tuten. Fantasy managers should check back throughout the week as more information around Tuten's injury status is released.

Nov 19 9:10am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back out of Virginia Tech, Bhayshul Tuten (ankle), exited during the third quarter of Sunday's Week 11 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers with an ankle injury and didn't return. Important to note: he mentioned in an interview with Jamal St. Cyr, Sports Anchor for News4JAX, that his ankle is "good." Now, players are usually going to always say things like that, especially after a career day where he appeared to be in a 50/50 split with Travis Etienne from the first snap of the game for the first time all season. Regardless, Tuten was one of the most prized possessions on the waiver wire this week, and for good reason; he averaged a healthy 4.93 YPC in Week 11 and looked really efficient, breaking tackles and racking up yards after contact. With ETN in the picture, it's unlikely that Tuten will take over the backfield; however, moving forward, this may be more of a 50/50 split, giving both running backs low-end RB2 status. Fantasy managers will want to keep tabs on Tuten's practice logs this week, as they prepare to take on the Arizona Cardinals, who rank in the bottom 10 in fantasy points allowed to the running back position.

Nov 17 8:40am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) exited during the third quarter of Sunday's Week 11 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers with an injury, as the Jaguars went on to dominate the Chargers 35-6. A large part of their dominance was mainly due to the offensive line, Travis Etienne, Tuten, and the Jaguars' defense. At the time of his departure, he was having a career day, rushing for a career high 74 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on 15 carries. Backfield mate, ETN, also rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. According to Jamal St. Cyr, Storts Anchor for News4JAX, when asked about his ankle, Tuten said, "It's good," which is a good sign for his availability heading into Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. Tuten was involved fairly early in this contest, and his 15 carries were not due to the game being out of hand. He was clearly splitting touches with ETN early in the game, and it's something to monitor moving forward. Regardless, Tuten becomes a must-add in all formats based on his volume on Sunday, and immediately enters the RB3 conversation, especially if we can expect 8-12 carries from him.

Nov 16 2:40pm CT

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten (ankle) exited during the third quarter of Sunday's Week 11 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers. He is officially listed as questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had exploded for 74 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on 15 carries. The rookie was in the middle of the best game of his young career. At least temporarily, it appeared as though he had supplanted Travis Etienne Jr. as the primary running back in Jacksonville. With Tuten currently sidelined, Etienne will check back into the game as the Jaguars' lead back. Given that the Jaguars lead by four possessions in the fourth quarter, Jacksonville could hold Tuten out for the rest of the game to avoid the risk of re-injury. He'll have seven days to get healthy before next Sunday's clash against the Arizona Cardinals on the road.

From RotoBaller

Nov 11 11:50am CT

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten had a season-high nine carries for 29 yards and scored his third touchdown of the year in the Week 9 overtime win over the Las Vegas Raiders. However, Tuten was unable to build on that performance in the Week 10 loss to the Houston Texans, carrying the ball just four times for five yards while catching one of his two targets for five additional yards. The 23-year-old played a season-high 27% of the offensive snaps, but fellow rookie LeQuint Allen Jr. saw a season-high 32% of the snaps as well. Travis Etienne Jr. remains the Jags' clear top back in Jacksonville, even though Tuten has teased fantasy managers in his rookie season with explosiveness and power out of the backfield. Tuten has fantasy value as a handcuff to Etienne, but he'll continue to be hard to trust as a touchdown-dependent RB4 heading into a Week 11 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers.
