New York Jets running back Breece Hall will get another stiff test this week when his team takes on their division-rival New England Patriots on the road at Gillette Stadium. Hall and the Jets got their second win of the season in Week 10, riding two special teams touchdowns to victory. Despite the offense's struggles against an imposing Cleveland defense, the former second-round pick rewarded fantasy managers who stuck with him, posting at least 100 scrimmage yards and a score in his second consecutive appearance. Hall did most of his damage on a 42-yard touchdown grab, but it was nice to see New York lean on him. That should be the case again, particularly with wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) set to miss potentially a month. The Iowa State product won't have it easy, as New England has yielded the fewest rushing yards per contest (79.2). That said, he's the only playmaker still standing and should benefit from Wilson's absence in the passing game. Hall lands as RotoBaller's PPR RB17 for his matchup on Thursday Night Football.

ESPN's Matt Bowen and Jeremy Fowler wrote about their 2026 NFL free agency early top-25 ranking and predictions. According to what they are hearing, Breece Hall could secure a contract similar to Josh Jacobs, with a deal in the ballpark of a four-year, $48 million contract. Hall was very involved in speculation to be traded at the trade deadline, and the Jets stood firm on wanting a third-round pick in return for him, but they never got it. Hall is in his prime at 25 years old and brings a dual-threat element to the backfield. He has 174 receptions in his career, while averaging 92.0 total yards. He also has 82 rushes of 10 or more yards over three seasons, so he's a three-down back that can make big plays. Although we don't know which team he will be joining, this provides some insight into what the expected contract should be, barring any unforeseen developments over the next couple of months.

Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall had 83 rushing yards, one catch, 42 receiving yards and a touchdown in a win over the Browns. Dynasty Analysis: Hall should get a 20% point kicker just by playing on the Jets but alas, that's not how fantasy football works. Regardless, Hall reminded us all just how talented he really is as he worked hard to shed tackles and show his speed in the process. After not being traded, Hall is likely auditioning for a solid free agent contract so dynasty managers can expect his effort level to stay consistent as he hunts for a new deal. His ADP slide will end at least for this week.
New York Jets running back Breece Hall was a huge factor during Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. He rushed the ball 21 times for 83 yards on the ground, but his biggest play came through the air. Hall took a screen pass for a 42-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to help get his team the victory. This is now back-to-back strong fantasy performances from Hall who was sluggish there for a few games. The Jets are going to need him now more than ever with Garrett Wilson (knee) exiting this game. It's unclear if Wilson will be ready to go in time for the quick turnaround with a Thursday night matchup against the New England Patriots.

The Houston Texans made calls to the New York Jets about running back Breece Hall, according to Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle. The Texans were looking to make a big splash at the deadline with the Jets' star running back, but the asking price was ultimately too high for their liking. Hall was discussed in multiple trade rumors before the deadline, most commonly linked to the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Texans were apparently looking to make an upgrade to their running back room as well. Veteran Nick Chubb and rookie Woody Marks will continue to split reps in Houston's backfield moving forward, with neither presenting significant fantasy upside behind a poor offensive line.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall will carry a bit more risk this weekend when his team squares off with the visiting Cleveland Browns at MetLife Stadium. The last time we saw the 24-year-old hit the field, he rushed for a season-high 133 yards and two touchdowns against a sieve-like Bengals defense - recording his third game this season of at least 100 yards on the ground. However, running room might be more challenging to snuff out this Sunday when he takes on a Cleveland squad that's allowed the ninth-fewest rushing yards per game (94.3). Moreover, the quarterback situation in New York remains unclear, adding an extra layer of uncertainty to an already difficult matchup. For what it's worth, the Browns aren't any easier to throw on, so leaning into Hall's dual-threat skill set might be New York's most sensible move. The fourth-year pro is RotoBaller's PPR RB18 ahead of Week 10.

At the trade deadline, the Kansas City Chiefs made an attempt to acquire New York Jets running back Breece Hall. Hall had been the subject of trade rumors and reportedly expressed interest in a change of scenery. The Jets were believed to be seeking a third-round pick, a steep price for a running back who is not under contract beyond the 2025 season. Kansas City ultimately chose not to make the move, signaling confidence in their current backfield of Isiah Pacheco, Kareem Hunt, and Brashard Smith. It sets up a fascinating offseason for Hall and the Jets, but whether the Chiefs will regret not landing the rising star remains to be seen.

Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall was not traded prior to Tuesday's deadline. Dynasty Analysis: This is a situation where no news is actually news as Hall was rumored to be of interest to several contenders. In reality, him staying in New York is a pretty big disappointment as dynasty managers were clearly hoping he'd land in a better spot this year prior to hitting free agency. With the Jets waving the white flag and sending away both Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, things aren't going to get much easier for Hall as he's now clearly on a tanking team. This could also be a decent buying window as the talented Hall is very unlikely to be on the Jets after this season.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall has been speculated in trade rumors over the last few weeks. Given the state of the Jets team, it's not shocking to see them considering trading Hall. The Jets are sitting with one win and Hall is in the final year of his rookie deal. Despite that, Hall is unlikely going to be traded unless the Jets get blown away with an offer. The 24-year-old has rushed for 581 yards with two touchdowns on the ground. If he's traded, Isaiah Davis figures to handle the bulk of the Jets for the rest of the season. However, most organizations are unlikely going to give up a ton for a soon-to-be free agent.

Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports that the New York Jets are looking for "at least a third-round pick" in return for running back Breece Hall ahead of the NFL's November 4 trade deadline. Russini also notes that the Jets "have been getting calls for a while" on Hall. The 24-year-old is in the final year of his rookie contract with the 1-7 Jets. Across eight games this season, Hall has recorded 759 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 138 touches. If Hall does get traded, second-year back Isaiah Davis would likely dominate backfield work in New York until Braelon Allen (knee) returns from a knee injury that currently has him on Injured Reserve.

For most of the season, it was looking like a slam dunk that New York Jets running back Breece Hall would be traded, but ESPN's Dan Graziano's sense now is that "it's no longer a sure thing." Hall is in the final year of his deal with the Jets, and the team has a pair of RBs they like behind him in Braelon Allen (knee) and Isaiah Davis. However, Allen is already out for the rest of this season, and there are people in the Jets building who are "leery of the idea of trading Hall." The 24-year-old showed in the Week 8 upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals that he's still explosive, going for 133 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and throwing a touchdown. If the Jets receive a really strong offer for Hall, they will probably take it, but he's no longer a slam dunk to be traded. Ahead of next Tuesday's trade deadline, Hall's chances of being dealt could be 50-50.

Jets' RB Breece Hall scored an impressive 32.90 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 8 win in Cincinnati. Hall ran for 133 yards and caught two passes for 14 yards with three touchdowns.
Dynasty | Jets running back Breece Hall had 133 rushing yards, two catches, 14 receiving yards, four passing yards and three total touchdowns in a win against the Bengals. Dynasty Analysis: Finally. Hall had been stuck in neutral most of the season as the Jets struggled to do anything offensively but the banged up Bengals proved to be exactly what he needed in the end. With as bad as the Jets have been, this is quite likely going to be the best game he posts all season and while dynasty managers still hope he gets traded, they were rewarded for sticking with him for at least one more week. Hall's ranking and ADP drop will pause for at least a week.
New York Jets running back Breece Hall posted an outstanding performance during Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hall hasn't found much success on the ground lately, but had no issues in Week 8. Hall rushed 18 times for 133 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. He also hauled in two receptions for an additional seven yards through the air, but that wasn't all. The 24-year-old threw the game-winning touchdown pass to tight end Mason Taylor. Hall literally did a little bit of everything during this victory. He'll head into a bye week on a high note before playing the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.
