Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith took a career-high 10 sacks in last week's loss to the Cleveland Browns and completed 30 of 44 passes for 285 yards with a touchdown. The offense could look a little different in Week 13 against the Chargers after the Raiders dismissed offensive coordinator Chip Kelly earlier in the week, with Greg Olson taking over. Smith will look to bounce back on Sunday against the Chargers and deliver a better performance than when they met back in Week 2, where he threw three interceptions. Smith isn't a recommended fantasy option in Week 13, ranking as RotoBaller's QB30 for the week.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith completed 30-of-44 yards with 285 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns, and he rushed three times for eight yards with one fumble lost.
Fantasy Spin: Smith's passing yardage total was his best since Week 3, when he had 289 yards in a loss in Washington. Still, he has just two touchdown throws in the past three games, and he is nothing more than a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues right now.
From TheHuddle
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith had an underwhelming game in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys, completing 27 of 42 pass attempts for 238 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Across 10 games, the 35-year-old has completed 66.3% of his pass attempts for 2,082 yards, 12 touchdowns, and a league-high 13 interceptions. Smith has also been sacked on 9.1% of his drop-backs as he plays with a Raiders offensive line that has been hit hard by both injuries and underperformance. The job won't get any easier for Smith in Week 12, as he'll take on star edge rusher Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns. Through 11 weeks, the Browns have allowed the fewest passing yards (1,874) and recorded the fifth most sacks (32) in the NFL. Even in two-quarterback formats, Smith profiles as a player for fantasy managers to avoid in Week 12.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith completed 27 of 42 passes for 238 yards, one touchdown, and one interception during the team's Week 11 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Smith, who was sacked four times, also had 14 yards on four rushing attempts.
Fantasy Spin: It was a tough night for Smith, who had a good matchup against a Cowboys secondary that has been routinely exploited throughout the season. As ever, you can't lay all of the Las Vegas' struggles on the veteran QB, as the offensive line had issues in protection while also effectively abandoning the run, and the team lacks difference makers in the receiving game outside of Brock Bowers. While Smith has had a couple of big games this season, he's a fringe QB2 candidate at best, and you'd be forgiven for targeting a higher upside reserve in standard leagues if one is available.
From TheHuddle
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith completed 27 of 42 passes for 238 yards with one touchdown and one interception while adding 14 yards on 4 carries on the ground in Monday night's 33-16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Raiders came out with a pass-heavy game plan with only eight designed running back carries all game, but Smith couldn't take advantage of a poor Dallas defense. His 42 pass attempts were the most since Week 2 against the Los Angeles Chargers. The 35-year-old has mostly struggled in his first season in Las Vegas, throwing more interceptions (12) than touchdowns (11) and exceeding 300 yards passing just once, which came all the way back in Week 1. It doesn't get any easier for Smith in Week 12 against a tough Cleveland Browns defense.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith hasn't had his best season through nine games and is coming off another tough performance in Week 10 at the Denver Broncos. Smith completed 16 of 26 passes for 143 yards and an interception, while also taking a season high six sacks. The 35-year-old came out of the game briefly for Kenny Pickett due to a bruised quadriceps injury, but was able to return and finish the game. Smith had the mini-bye after playing on Thursday night to rest the injury and heads into Monday night without an injury designation. The veteran hasn't been a playable fantasy option in most leagues in his first year in Las Vegas, but he has appeal as a QB2 streamer against a poor Dallas Cowboys defense that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks on Monday night. Smith ranks as RotoBaller's QB18 for Week 11.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith (quadriceps) is not included on the Week 11 injury report as the team gets ready to face the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football, according to the team's website. Smith was in some pain last Thursday night against the Denver Broncos when he suffered a bruised quadriceps, and he was even replaced in the game for a bit by Kenny Pickett. The 35-year-old eventually returned to finish the 10-7 loss, but he was hobbling around pretty good. The extra time off heading into Week 11 appears to have done the veteran QB some good, and he should be fine to play against Dallas on Monday after practicing in full on Wednesday. Smith has mostly been a liability for fantasy managers in his first year in Vegas, but he'll have some QB2 streaming appeal this week against a bad Cowboys secondary.

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith (quad) was diagnosed with a quad contusion following Thursday's Week 10 loss against the Denver Broncos, head coach Pete Carroll told members of the media, including NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. Smith briefly exited the game early in the fourth quarter and was replaced by Kenny Pickett, who attempted one pass. The veteran quarterback returned to the game, then left again with a "questionable" designation in the final minutes. Las Vegas did not get the ball back, and it's unclear whether Smith or Pickett would have earned snaps if the Raiders' offense returned to the field. The 35-year-old completed 16 of 26 passes for 143 yards and his league-leading 12th interception of the season. He also took six sacks. It remains to be seen whether Smith will play in Week 11. On a positive note, playing on Thursday night gives him a full 11 days to rest and recover before the Raiders return to action against Dallas.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith completed 16 of his 26 passes for 143 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception in a Week 10 loss to the Denver Broncos. Smith, who ran three times for seven yards, was sacked six times and briefly exited the game after taking a shot to the lower body.
Fantasy Spin: They never seemed to pinpoint the issue on the broadcast, but it appeared in replays that Smith took a knee to the quad. He missed one snap and was seen going in and out of the blue medical tent but was able to finish the game. The veteran struggled overall on Thursday night, though it wasn't all his fault as his interception went right through the hands of Ashton Jeanty, and most of the half-dozen sacks he absorbed came off of quick pressure. Still, anyone hoping that the return of Brock Bowers would turn Smith into a reliable QB2 has to be disappointed. We'll see what he can do against a porous Cowboys defense in Week 11.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith (quadriceps) exited the Week 10 game against the Denver Broncos with a quadriceps injury but was able to return.
Fantasy Spin: Kenny Pickett briefly replaced Smith, but Smith returned to action after being checked out in the medical tent. Outside of a few big performances, it has been a rough season for Smith. He is an erratic QB2.
From TheHuddle
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith is a low-end Superflex option with his team playing an excellent Denver Broncos defense on Thursday. The veteran was a superb fantasy quarterback after his resurgence with Seattle in 2022, but this season had been mostly diminishing returns until a four-touchdown outburst last week against Jacksonville. Even after his best game, Smith has an unsightly 1:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He has thrown 11 interceptions and 11 touchdowns through eight games, during which he's thrown for an average of just under 213 yards. Facing a Denver defense that ranks among the league's best against fantasy quarterbacks, Smith can be a bye-week fill-in if needed, but managers should favor their other options, if possible.
From RotoBaller
Raiders' QB Geno Smith scored an astounding 30.10 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 9 loss against the Jaguars. Smith threw for 284 yards on 29-of-39 with four touchdowns and one interception.

From FantasyLife
Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith completed 29 of his 39 passes for 284 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in a 30-29 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9.
Fantasy Spin: It has been a rollercoaster for Smith this season, and he has sprinkled in a couple of monster performances between several ugly outings. Overall, he has 11 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions. Needless to say, he is a risky QB2, albeit with some upside.
From TheHuddle
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith had arguably his best game in a Raiders uniform in his team's 30-29 overtime Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 35-year-old completed 29 of 39 pass attempts for 284 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Smith has mostly struggled so far this season. Heading into Week 9, he had thrown for 1,417 yards, seven touchdowns, and 10 interceptions across seven games played, leading to some questions about his job security in Las Vegas. Smith likely put those questions to bed for at least one week with his standout performance against Jacksonville. Still, Smith will remain tough for fantasy managers to trust in Week 10, as the Raiders have a difficult road matchup against their division rival, the Denver Broncos.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith enters a Week 9 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have allowed the fifth-most points to opposing quarterbacks. Smith continues to struggle with his new team, as he posted a season-low 2.78 points last week against the Chiefs. The Raiders' signal-caller has been one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the league, with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions on the year. Fantasy managers should continue to look elsewhere and even watch Kenny Pickett as a potential late-season replacement for Smith.

From FantasyLife
Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith completed 10-of-16 passes for 67 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs. QB Kenny Pickett was inserted into the lineup in his place.
Fantasy Spin: Smith has been terrible lately, and it wouldn't be shocking to see the Raiders seriously consider starting Pickett going forward. Either way, the Las Vegas starting quarterback is a low-end QB2 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.
