San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey enters Week 13 leading the NFL in touches (298) and second in receptions (81). Amid the 49ers' injury-riddled season, McCaffrey has been relied on heavily to keep the offense moving. Another heavy workload is in store for the ninth-year veteran when San Francisco heads to Cleveland to face the Browns. The weather forecast calls for strong winds, rain, and snow, which points to an emphasis on the ground game. The Browns had been one of the stronger run defenses in the league, though they have softened as of late. Since their Week 9 bye, Cleveland has given up top-12 finishes in three consecutive weeks to running backs Breece Hall, Derrick Henry, and Ashton Jeanty. McCaffrey is a strong candidate to make it four in a row and should be locked into fantasy football starting lineups for Week 13.

San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey had 24 carries, 89 yards, and a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12. He also caught all seven of his targeted passes for 53 yards.
Fantasy Spin: On a night when not much looked good offensively from either team, McCaffrey cobbled together 142 yards and a touchdown on a whopping 31 touches. Despite an overall decline in San Francisco's offensive prowess, CMC continues to grind out one effective performance after another, putting himself squarely in the conversation with Jonathan Taylor and Jahymr Gibbs for top overall fantasy RB.
From TheHuddle
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey handled another massive workload in Monday night's 20-9 win over the Carolina Panthers, recording 24 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown to go with seven catches (seven targets) for 53 yards in the pass game. McCaffrey now has 298 touches on the season after another 31 in Week 12 against his former team, with Jonathan Taylor being the next closest player at 237. The superstar running back also leads the league in receptions with 81. McCaffrey continues to be one of the top options in all of fantasy football as the engine of San Francisco's offense and a security blanket for quarterback Brock Purdy, who struggled throwing downfield in this game with three interceptions in the first half. McCaffrey will rank as an elite RB1 in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (rest) was able to practice in full for a second straight day Saturday, Nov. 22, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 12 game against the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy Spin: McCaffrey will face his original team, as the Panthers selected him No. 8 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. CMC has posted 96 or more total scrimmage yards in 10 of his 11 starts, while managing six rushing scores and eight total touchdowns in the previous six games. He remains an obvious RB1 in all fantasy leagues against the Panthers.
From TheHuddle
San Francisco 49ers DL Robert Beal Jr. (concussion), LB Tatum Bethune (ankle) and PK Eddy Pineiro (hamstring) did not practice Saturday, Nov. 22. Beal is doubtful for Week 12 against the Carolina Panthers, while the other two are out. LB Luke Gifford was a limited participant, and he is listed as questionable. RB Christian McCaffrey (rest), WR Ricky Pearsall (knee), QB Brock Purdy (toe), LB Curtis Robinson (elbow), OT Trent Williams (rest) and LB Dee Winters (knee) all practiced in full, and each were removed from the injury report.
From TheHuddle
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey was the overall RB1 in Week 11, his third such finish in the last five weeks and his tenth top-10 finish in 2025. McCaffrey is in a good spot to attempt a repeat against the Carolina Panthers on Monday night. Much of McCaffrey's production in 2025 has come as a pass-catcher, but with Carolina offering up 4.72 yards per carry to opposing running backs this season, there is reason to believe he will do more damage on the ground than usual in Week 12. Carolina has been especially bad over the last four weeks, giving up a league-worst six rushing touchdowns and the fourth-most fantasy points per game to running backs. It goes without saying that McCaffrey should be in starting lineups in Week 12, but fantasy football managers are justified in feeling especially optimistic about what the superstar will produce in his first game against his former team.

He has really picked up the production in recent weeks, going for 96 or more total scrimmage yards in 10 of his 11 games, while scoring six rushing touchdowns and eight total scores across the past six outings. He remains an obvious RB1 in all fantasy leagues against Carolina.

49ers' RB Christian McCaffrey scored an impressive 35.10 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 11 win in Arizona. McCaffrey ran for 81 yards and caught five passes for 40 yards with three touchdowns.
San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey rushed 13 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns and caught five passes for 40 yards and another score in a 41-22 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11.
Fantasy Spin: While McCaffrey piling up 121 yards from scrimmage is nothing new this season, it is worth noting that McCaffrey had one of his more efficient outings on the same day that Brock Purdy returned to action. If Purdy can help the San Francisco offense reach another level, it is only going to help McCaffrey moving forward.
