Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith has seen limited work in the offense over the last few weeks. Since Week 10, Smith has seen a combined seven targets and two rushing attempts. The 30-year-old has yet to be a consistent fantasy option and has only had two productive weeks this season. Entering Week 13, Smith will face a tough Buffalo Bills passing defense that has allowed the fewest receiving yards this season. However, the Bills' run defense has allowed the third-most rushing yards this season. The Steelers' offense may want to establish the run game early against a run-funnel Bills defense and take pressure off quarterback Aaron Rodgers (wrist), who is still battling a left wrist injury. Smith is difficult to trust for fantasy managers heading into Week 13 and is mainly an option in deep leagues.

From TheHuddle
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jonnu Smith caught all three of his targets for 21 yards in a Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Fantasy Spin: Smith had just one catch in the last two weeks and hasn't had more than four catches in a game since Week 2. He's nothing more than an injury fill-in at this point.
From TheHuddle
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith failed to catch a single pass in Week 11, marking his first game without a reception since Week 4 of last season. Though the matchup against the Chicago Bears is favorable, there is little reason to expect Smith to bounce back to fantasy relevance in Week 12. The Steelers remain unpredictable in how they deploy their tight ends, with Smith, Pat Freiermuth, and Darnell Washington all playing significant snaps. It is clear, however, that Smith's fantasy value is entirely touchdown-dependent, as he has topped 20 receiving yards just four times this year. As the TE29 in RotoBaller's Week 12 rankings, fantasy managers should look elsewhere for a streaming option.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jonnu Smith (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 12.
Fantasy Spin: Smith will probably see a handful of targets this week but may only see short passes like he has in previous weeks. He can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle

From TheHuddle
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jonnu Smith (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 20.
Fantasy Spin: Smith will likely see a few targets in the passing game this week but is only a No. 2 tight end in fantasy leagues and can be avoided.

From TheHuddle
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith did not catch either of his two targets in a Week 11 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Smith has not had a worthwhile fantasy showing since Week 7, when he last found the end zone. It has been an incredibly disappointing season for the 30-year-old, who was expected to be heavily involved in Pittsburgh's offense after the team traded for him in the offseason. While Smith still has more fantasy points than teammate Darnell Washington, the latter has impressed in recent weeks and could earn a more consistent role moving forward. Smith should still be rostered in dynasty formats, but fantasy managers should look elsewhere for tight end production in all redraft leagues.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jonnu Smith was targeted two times during the Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals but finished the game with zero receptions.
Fantasy Spin: Smith was a valuable fantasy tight end last season but has been held to under 30 yards in every game this season. He can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith had his worst showing of the season in Week 10 and will hope to be more involved against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. This matchup is as good as it gets for fantasy tight ends, as the Bengals have surrendered the most fantasy points, the most yards, and the most touchdowns to the position this season. When these division rivals met in Week 7, all three of Smith, Pat Freiermuth, and Darnell Washington found the end zone in a shootout. With Sunday's contest once again expected to be high-scoring, Smith could see additional looks from quarterback Aaron Rodgers as both offenses fight to keep pace. His floor remains extremely low, but fantasy managers can consider Smith as a streaming option with a fair amount of touchdown upside this week.
From RotoBaller

From TheHuddle
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jonnu Smith (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 13.
Fantasy Spin: Smith will be involved in the passing game this week but will likely be targeted with short passes during the game. He can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jonnu Smith (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Fantasy Spin: Smith was held to a season-low four yards in the last game and is unlikely to be a big part of the passing game moving forward. He can be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers CB Darius Slay (concussion), CB Cory Trice (hamstring, knee), LB Cole Holcomb (illness), LB Alex Highsmith (pectoral), OT Broderick Jones (groin), TE Jonnu Smith (non-injury), LB T.J. Watt (non-injury) and DE Cameron Heyward (non-injury) did not participate in practice. OG Isaac Seumalo (pectoral) was limited during practice. WR Scotty Miller (finger) and S Jabrill Peppers (quadriceps) fully participated in practice.
From TheHuddle
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith has not eclipsed 30 receiving yards in any contest this season and will face a tough test against the Los Angeles Chargers this week. The Chargers' defense has been solid across the board, limiting opposing tight ends to the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game. On the bright side, Smith did earn five targets last week, tied for the second-most on the team. He could be equally or more involved in what's projected to be a close matchup on Sunday night, but it's hard to trust him with both Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington also earning opportunities. Smith checks in as the TE26 in RotoBaller's Week 10 rankings and should be avoided in most formats.
