Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb ran nine times for 34 yards and a touchdown in a Week 13 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy Spin: Chubb, who scored on a 4-yard run in the second quarter, continues to lose carries to Woody Marks each week. The 34 yards was his fewest sine 16 at Seattle on Oct. 20. He's only worth rostering as a deep back-up in case of multiple injuries.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb continues to play a reduced role in the team's backfield, which keeps him from being a good fantasy play in most formats this week. Chubb has only totaled 14 rushing attempts in his last three games for a total of 80 yards, along with two catches for only four receiving yards. He has played under 30% of his team's offensive snaps in each of his last three weeks as well, as the team leans more heavily on rookie Woody Marks. Chubb's fantasy value is extremely touchdown-dependent, which is not usually a good thing since he hasn't found the end zone since Week 5 against the Ravens. He's only the RB57 in RotoBaller's Week 13 rankings, so he should be left on the bench or waiver wire in most formats.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans RB Woody Marks is averaging 17.3 touches over the past three games, and RB Nick Chubb is averaging 5.3 touches over that same span.
Fantasy Spin: Chubb operated as the lead back for most of the season, but the Texans have made the decision to turn the backfield over to Marks in recent weeks. The rookie has responded by topping 70 total yards in two of the last three games, and Houston has won three straight. At minimum, Marks should be a steady flex option the rest of the way, and he could push for RB2 numbers some weeks.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb had 16 yards on six carries against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. He also had one catch for minus-one yard.
Fantasy Spin: If there was any lingering doubt, Thursday night in a huge game against a tough opponent, Woody Marks got 17 touches to seven for Chubb, and the rookie was more effective with them. Unless Marks gets injured or starts having ball security issues, it's hard to see a path for Chubb to get back into playable fantasy territory again. Perhaps those in deeper leagues might want to roster him for depth, but that's about his ceiling right now.

From FantasyLife
Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb has played a reduced role in the last few weeks, and it's hard to trust him this Thursday night, even in a favorable matchup against the Bills. Chubb played only 18 snaps (26%) in Week 11 against the Titans and had just three carries for 17 yards. It was his lowest number of carries in any game this season, and his third time in the last five weeks with five carries or fewer. The Bills allow the second-most fantasy points per game to running backs in the NFL, but it will likely be Woody Marks that gets most of the work in Week 12. Chubb has dropped to RB42 in RotoBaller's rankings and is not much more than an injury handcuff for Marks at this point in the season.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb rushed three times for 17 yards in Week 11 against the Tennessee Titans, and he did not have a reception on two targets.
Fantasy Spin: The veteran had his shot at the workhorse job, but he has been surpassed by rookie Woody Marks, who has been much more productive. Chubb is only worth a roster spot in deeper fantasy leagues at this juncture.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb is a touchdown-dependent flex option against the Titans in Week 11, since the Titans have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs this season. Chubb only played 10 snaps and had five carries against the Jaguars last week since the game script called for the Texans to go pass-heavy, but he had been playing around 50% of snaps before that. He had double-digit carries in four of his previous five games, though, and found the end zone in Week 2 and Week 5. He will likely need to get another touchdown to be a good option in Week 11, since his yardage totals haven't been great. What is great, though, is the matchup, and it boosts Chubb to RB34 in RotoBaller's Week 11 rankings as a result.

From FantasyLife
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb ran a season low-tying five times for 47 yards and a catch for five yards in Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Spin: Chubb had nine fewer carries than Woody Marks in this one after tallying double-digit carries in six of his first eight games. Could this be the beginning of Marks taking over the bulk of the work in the Houston backfield? Head coach DeMeco Ryans hasn't veered from his game plan all season, so don't expect him to change now.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb could help carry the load for the team against the Jaguars in Week 10, since C.J. Stroud (concussion) will be sidelined. Chubb has seen fewer snaps the last few weeks, but he still is getting double-digit carries on a regular basis. He had 11 carries for 34 yards against the Broncos last week after 17 carries for 56 yards against the 49ers in Week 8. Chubb hasn't been very dynamic this season and hasn't ripped off many big plays. He does have a pair of touchdowns on the year and can bring touchdown-dependent upside in what should be a run-heavy game script with Davis Mills at QB. If the Texans can get out front and rely on their defense, Chubb could have a heavier workload than usual. He's ranked as the No. 35 RB, making him a stretch for a flex play in standard leagues but a fringe option for deep leagues. He will need to find the end zone to deliver on his fantasy potential, though.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb (foot) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's Week 10 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Chubb sat out practice to begin the week, but was able to return as a limited participant on Thursday. Now, Chubb has been removed from the injury report ahead of this divisional matchup. The 29-year-old figures to continue splitting up the backfield duties with Woody Marks. There has been a fairly even split between the two backs in recent weeks. That being said, both backs will have limited value until one pulls ahead as the lead back.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans S Jalen Pitre (concussion), QB C.J. Stroud (concussion), PK Ka'imi Fairbairn (quadriceps), LB Christian Harris (shin), OG Ed Ingram (knee) and OT Tytus Howard (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 7, and have been ruled out for Week 10. FB Jakob Johnson (hamstring) fully participated in practice but has been ruled out. TE Harrison Bryant (shoulder) fully participated in practice but is listed as questionable. WR Braxton Berrios (chest), RB Nick Chubb (foot), RB Dameon Pierce (non-injury), DE Will Anderson Jr. (quadriceps), TE Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder), DE Dylan Horton (knee) and DE Denico Autry (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb (foot) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Fantasy Spin: Chubb may be sharing playing time with Woody Marks but has still received at least 10 carries in four of his last five games. He has rushed for at least 50 yards in three of his eight games this season and can be a possible flex option in leagues this week.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb (foot) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 6.
Fantasy Spin: Chubb seems to have a chance to be available for Week 10, but fantasy players will know more about his status in the next day or two. He has received at least 10 carries in four of the last five games but has posted at least 50 yards on only two of those games. He will likely see a similar workload if he plays and can be a flex option in leagues.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb (foot) is back at practice on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday with a foot injury, according to DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN. It's a good sign that Chubb will be able to suit up this Sunday when the team takes on the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars, but the 29-year-old might need to upgrade to a full practice before Friday to avoid taking a questionable tag into the weekend. Chubb has been pretty lackluster on the ground in his first year with the Texans, and he could be facing more defenders in the box this weekend if he's active, since starting quarterback C.J. Stroud has already been ruled out with a concussion. Chubb has been Houston's preferred choice on early downs since Joe Mixon (ankle, foot) has yet to play in 2025, and he's run for 355 yards and two touchdowns on 91 carries. If Chubb is limited at all this weekend, rookie Woody Marks would see an expanded workload.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb (foot) practiced on Thursday, Nov. 6.
Fantasy Spin: Chubb has not been the most productive back for the Texans or fantasy lineups, but he can still provide a spark. With the team missing C.J. Stroud, they are potentially going to lean on their run game to help Davis Mills. Chubb can be a low-end RB3 or flex option in deeper leagues as a result.
From TheHuddle
Houston DE Denico Autry (knee), DE Will Anderson Jr. (quadriceps), TE Harrison Bryant (shoulder), RB Nick Chubb (foot), PK Ka'imi Fairbairn (quadriceps), LB Christian Harris (shin), OL Tytus Howard (concussion), OG Ed Ingram (knee), S Jalen Pitre (concussion) and QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 5. WR Braxton Berrios (chest) and TE Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder) were limited, while DE Dylan Horton (knee) and FB Jakob Johnson (hamstring) were full participants.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb (foot) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 5 due to his foot injury.
Fantasy Spin: Let's check back Thursday and Friday to see if Chubb will be able to suit up. He split backfield touches down the middle with Woody Marks last time out against the Denver Broncos. Chubb continues to see double-digit carries, going for 11 or more carries in four of the past five games. However, he has 3.3 yards per carry or fewer in the past three games, and he hasn't scored in a calendar month since Oct. 5. He is best used as a low-end RB3 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams heading into Week 10 in Jacksonville.
