Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk has started to carve out a role for himself after being sidelined twice earlier in the season with hamstring issues. Kirk snagged his first touchdown of the season in Week 12's big win over Buffalo, and he snagged five of his six targets for 54 yards, his second-best total of the season. Kirk will look to build on that momentum this week in a big AFC South showdown against the Colts, who have been a top-10 matchup for wide receivers this season. Kirk's ceiling also gets a boost from the return of C.J. Stroud, after missing three games with a concussion. Kirk does have upside, but he has only caught 21 passes for 198 yards in his seven games this season, so he also has a low floor. The veteran slot receiver checks in as the WR77 in RotoBaller's Week 13 rankings, meaning he can be left on the bench or waiver wires in most standard-sized formats this week.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk had his best game of the 2025 season in Week 12, recording five catches for 54 yards and a touchdown on six targets against the Buffalo Bills. It's been an injury-marred season for Kirk overall, as he's recorded 21 catches for 198 yards and a touchdown across seven games played. However, Kirk has earned 21 targets over the last four weeks and could be re-establishing himself as a steady presence in the slot for the Texans. The 29-year-old has typically been a fairly productive wide receiver when healthy, averaging 6.6 targets and 53.7 receiving yards per game across 100 career NFL contests. In PPR fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams, Kirk could be worth targeting on the waiver wire heading into a Week 13 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk had five receptions (on six targets) for 54 yards and a touchdown in a Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Spin: By pretty much any measure, Kirk has been a disappointment in his first season with the Texans, battling injuries and doing little in the games he's appeared -- entering play on Thursday night he'd topped 30 yards in a game just once this season. We'll see if his 5-54-1 effort against the Bills helps get his season on track or if he'll be right back on the struggle bus in Week 13. If you're desperate for help in deeper leagues, you might want to take a flier on Kirk. For everyone else, a wait-and-see approach is sufficient.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk caught five of his six targets for 54 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills. The 29-year-old had his best game as a Texan, scoring his first touchdown of the year and setting a new season-high in receptions. Kirk is trending up in the Houston offense, but so is Jayden Higgins, and Nico Collins has already established himself as the alpha receiver. If C.J. Stroud (concussion) can return next week and support three fantasy-relevant receivers, then Kirk will be worth starting in Week 14 and beyond. However, if that's not the case, the veteran is likely the odd man out among him, Collins, and Higgins. For now, he ranks as a fringe top-50 fantasy receiver rest-of-season.

From FantasyLife
Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk ended up with a single 6-yard reception on four targets in Week 11 against the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy Spin: Kirk had three or more receptions in his first four games this season, but he has tailed off working with backup QB Davis Mills, who has subbed for the injured QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) in the past two contests. Kirk's fantasy appeal remains limited to deeper leagues, especially as long as Mills is under center.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk had one of his quietest games of the season last week, despite the Texans airing it out in their comeback win over the Jaguars. Kirk finished with just one catch for three yards on three targets from Davis Mills, who was starting in place of C.J. Stroud (concussion). Mills will start again this week, and the Texans are expected to rely on their run game in their trip to Tennessee to face the Titans. In a reduced role in what is expected to be a conservative game plan, Kirk is just the WR64 in RotoBaller's rankings this week, making him not a great start in most formats.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk caught one of three targets for three yards in Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Spin: Kirk, who has battled a hamstring injury all season, played in his second game since Week 5. He has not been a big part of the offense when he has played, and could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues but can be avoided in most.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk is a high-risk play in all formats in Week 10 when his team hosts the Jaguars. Kirk just returned from a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury, but he'll now be without his starting quarterback, C.J. Stroud (concussion), for at least this week. He had four catches for 26 yards on eight targets last week against Denver and has at least three catches in each game this season, but only for 135 scoreless yards. Backup QB Davis Mills will likely manage the game while the team relies on its excellent defense. Kirk typically gets enough receptions to deserve a little PPR attention, but with a new QB and likely a conservative game plan, he is very high-risk this week. RotoBaller has him ranked as the No. 53 WR this week, so he should be left on the bench or waiver wire in most formats.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk snagged four of eight targets for 26 yards in Week 9 against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Spin: Kirk, who has battled a hamstring injury all season, played in his first game since Week 5. He has not been a big part of the offense when he has played this season, and could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues but can be avoided in most.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk is set to return in Week 9 from a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury, but he steps into a brutal matchup against the Broncos, who have allowed the second-fewest wide receiver fantasy points this season. Kirk has missed two games on two occasions this season with hamstring issues, and in his three healthy contests has totaled 10 catches on 16 targets for 109 yards. The Texans have young receivers who stepped up while Kirk was out, so it will be very interesting to see how the veteran works back into the mix on Sunday. He is the WR58 in RotoBaller's rankings for Week 9, so he's tough to start in most formats unless bye weeks and injuries have you desperate for PPR production.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 31, and is not on the injury report for Week 9.
Fantasy Spin: Kirk should return to the lineup this week after missing the Week 8 game. He has not been a big part of the offense when he has played this season but should still see a handful of targets against the Denver Broncos. He could be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues but can be avoided in most leagues.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans CB Alijah Huzzie (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 31, but has been ruled out for Week 9. DE Denico Autry (knee) was limited during practice and is listed as questionable. FB Jakob Johnson (hamstring), TE Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder) and DE Dylan Horton (knee) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. S Jalen Pitre (foot), WR Nico Collins (concussion), WR Christian Kirk (hamstring), WR Braxton Berrios (chest) and RB Woody Marks (calf) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk (hamstring) was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday and has been cleared to play in the Week 9 tilt on Sunday against the visiting Denver Broncos. The Texans will also have top receiver Nico Collins (concussion) back in the fold after he missed the Week 8 win over the San Francisco 49ers. With both Collins and Kirk back in action this weekend, it will make it more difficult for rookies Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins, and Xavier Hutchinson to stand out in the passing attack against a stingy Broncos defense. The 28-year-old Kirk has missed the Texans' last two games, but he should return to starting slot duties this Sunday. It's been a forgettable year so far for Kirk in his first season in Houston, as he's aught 10 passes for 109 yards and no touchdowns on 16 targets while playing in only three games due to hamstring injuries. Kirk won't be a recommended flex play in fantasy in his first game back.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 30.
Fantasy Spin: Kirk seems to be on track to return to the lineup this week after missing the last game because of the injury. He has caught 10 of his 16 targets this season but did post 64 yards in his last game. He will see a few targets if he plays this week but is unlikely to be a starting option in many leagues.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 30. WR Braxton Berrios (chest), RB Woody Marks (calf), DE Dylan Horton (knee) and DE Denico Autry (knee) were limited during practice. S Jalen Pitre (foot), WR Nico Collins (concussion), WR Christian Kirk (hamstring), CB Alijah Huzzie (knee) and FB Jakob Johnson (hamstring) fully participated in practice.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk is practicing again on Thursday, according to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan M. Alexander. Kirk has missed the last two games with another hamstring injury, but he returned to a limited practice on Wednesday and could be trending towards making his return this Sunday against the visiting Denver Broncos in Week 9. The 28-year-old slot man might have to upgrade to a full practice before Friday, though, to avoid going into the weekend with a questionable tag. In addition to Kirk, the Texans' offense could be getting top pass-catcher Nico Collins back on Sunday after he missed last week's win over the San Francisco 49ers due to a concussion. Kirk will be a pretty shaky, low-upside flex option for fantasy managers against Denver if he's active this weekend. But more importantly, if both Collins and Kirk return, it will be bad news for rookies Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins, and Xavier Hutchinson.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans OG Laken Tomlinson (non-injury), TE Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder), DE Dylan Horton (knee) and DE Denico Autry (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 29. S Jalen Pitre (foot), WR Nico Collins (concussion), WR Christian Kirk (hamstring), WR Braxton Berrios (chest) and FB Jakob Johnson (hamstring) were limited during practice. CB Alijah Huzzie (knee) fully participated in practice.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Fantasy Spin: Kirk was not able to play in the last game but seems to have a chance to return to the lineup this week. He has posted 10 receptions and 109 yards in three games this season and is averaging a little over five targets per game. He will see a handful of targets if he plays but may only be a possible flex option in some deeper leagues.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk (hamstring) has been sidelined since the team's Week 5 matchup with the Ravens. Kirk returned to practice on Wednesday, ahead of the team's Week 9 showdown with the Broncos. The 29-year-old's availability would be a major addition to a passing game averaging just 215.3 yards per game. Kirk has tallied 10 receptions for 109 yards over just three games. The Texans have remained in contention, largely due to their defense. As the offense gets healthy, a strong second half could be on the horizon for quarterback C.J. Stroud and the passing game.
