Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. Jacobs sat out the Week 12 victory over the Minnesota Vikings with a knee contusion, but he returned last week for the Thanksgiving Day win against the Detroit Lions. It appears Jacobs is still dealing with lingering effects from his knee injury. He looked solid in Week 13, when he rushed for 83 yards on 17 attempts against Detroit. Jacobs being limited to begin the week is likely just the team being overly cautious. The 27-year-old should be viewed as a high-end RB1 for the upcoming matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 14.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) will play on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions and feels close to 100%, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Jacobs suffered a bone bruise in his knee in Green Bay's win over the New York Giants in Week 11 and was close to suiting up in Week 12, but with a second game coming up on Thursday, the team held him out, and he should be a full go against the Lions. Emanuel Wilson filled in admirably for the 27-year-old last week, handling 28 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns, but he will return to backup duties with Jacobs back. Jacobs had scored nine touchdowns in his last six games before exiting early against the Giants, and fantasy managers will be happy to plug him back into their lineups in Week 13.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) has no injury designation for Thursday's divisional clash against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving and is good to go, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jacobs was held out of the Week 12 win over the Minnesota Vikings after suffering a minor knee contusion in the Week 11 win over the New York Giants. The 27-year-old star RB is back after a one-game absence and will be looking to start a new touchdown streak. He has 11 rushing touchdowns in 10 games played this year and entered Week 11 with touchdowns in six straight games before injuring his knee. In the Week 1 win over Detroit, Jacobs had 19 carries for 66 yards and one touchdown. Even though backup Emanuel Wilson had over 100 rushing yards and two scores last week, all signs point to Jacobs returning to his workhorse role in Detroit.

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) is "good to go" and will be available to return from his injury for the pivotal Thanksgiving matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers. The Packers (7-3-1) sit half a game ahead of the Lions (7-4), and the Packers won comfortably over the Lions in Week 1 and have a chance to cement themselves at the top of the NFC North with a win on Thursday. The Chicago Bears (8-3) currently sit atop the NFC North; however, the Packers still face them twice in Weeks 14 and 16, so they control their own fate in the NFC. Jacobs' return is a significant step in the right direction for them to make this end-of-season run. His injury in Week 11 looked bad at first glance, so this news of him already being back is great news for the Packers fans and Jacobs' fantasy owners. Emanuel Wilson filled in for Jacobs last week and played great, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns, so Jacobs' upside may be capped because Wilson has earned more playing time. Still, Jacobs is also a set-it-and-forget-it type of player in fantasy football, regardless of the tough matchup. On the season, Jacobs has 11 touchdowns, 648 rushing yards, and 237 receiving yards.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) missed his first game of the year in the Week 12 win over the Minnesota Vikings due to a knee contusion, and he should be considered questionable for the Week 13 divisional clash against the Detroit Lions on Thursday on Thanksgiving Day after being listed as limited for the team's first two practices of the week on Monday and Tuesday. The 27-year-old's injury isn't considered serious, but the Packers could play it safe with their star RB on a short week. Jacobs may need to upgrade to a full practice on Wednesday to avoid a questionable tag going into Thursday's game. He has been a must-start RB1 in fantasy football with 11 touchdowns in 10 games this year, but fantasy managers could be without him for a second straight game. If Jacobs is out again in Week 13, Emanuel Wilson will be a plug-and-play RB2 again after scoring twice and rushing for over 100 yards on Sunday.

Dynasty | Packers running back Emanuel Wilson had 107 rushing yards and two touchdowns in an easy win against Minnesota. Dynasty Analysis: Wilson was called to action with Josh Jacobs out this week and predictably performed admirably. A very capable backup, Wilson looks like a player capable of putting up RB2 numbers at worst on a weekly basis should Jacobs miss more time moving forward. His dynasty value is capped at the moment but he remains a very solid handcuff to own in dynasty leagues.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee), who missed his first game of the year in Week 12 due to a knee contusion, was listed as limited on Monday's estimated practice report, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. In Jacobs' absence in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings, Emanuel Wilson stepped in nicely, running for 100-plus yards and scoring twice on the ground. It could be just a one-week boost for Wilson's fantasy value, though, if Jacobs can return for a Thanksgiving Day game against the division-rival Detroit Lions this Thursday. If Jacobs can practice in full on either Tuesday or Wednesday, he will most likely return to lead-back duties in Week 13. The 27-year-old former first-rounder has been a no-doubt, must-start RB1 in fantasy this year, scoring on the ground 11 times in his 10 games.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) is inactive for Sunday's Week 12 contest against the Minnesota Vikings, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL.com. Jacobs was listed as questionable and deemed to be a true game-time decision on Sunday morning. In the end, he won't be able to suit up for a key divisional battle at home. Jacobs, who first suffered the injury during the second quarter of last week's game against the New York Giants, will be replaced in the first-team offense by Emanuel Wilson. Wilson led the Packers' backfield after Jacobs departed last Sunday, tallying 40 rushing yards, nine receiving yards, and one touchdown through the final three quarters. This week, he ranks as a fringe top-24 running back in fantasy football. Chris Brooks and Pierre Strong Jr. should also earn some touches in their respective depth roles.

The Green Bay Packers plan to work out running back Josh Jacobs (knee) during pre-game warmups before deciding if he will suit up against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Jacobs practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday after missing Wednesday's practice, and his status is considered truly up in the air. The 27-year-old's knee is structurally sound, but it is supposedly still tender from last week. Jacobs is pushing to play; however, the Packers will also have a quick turnaround in Week 13 against the Lions on Thanksgiving. His pre-game warmup will be an important one to monitor on Sunday morning for fantasy managers with Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson, who would be a must-start if Jacobs can't go.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) is officially listed as questionable to play in his team's Week 12 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Jacobs suffered a knee contusion that forced him to exit early from his team's Week 11 win over the New York Giants and has been limited in practice this week as a result. The 27-year-old has recorded 885 scrimmage yards and 11 touchdowns on 197 touches across 10 games this season and profiles as a must-start fantasy running back against Minnesota if he's cleared to play. If Jacobs were out, Packers running back Emanuel Wilson would likely get the majority of Green Bay's backfield touches in Week 12. Third-year back Chris Brooks could factor into the mix as well. Wilson has recorded 289 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 64 touches so far this season and would profile as a low-end fantasy RB2 if Jacobs is inactive against Minnesota.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that running back Josh Jacobs (knee) is "feeling pretty good" and will practice again on Friday in a limited capacity, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Jacobs suffered a knee contusion in the Week 11 win over the New York Giants on Sunday and did not return because he could not bend his knee. The 27-year-old was listed as day-to-day earlier this week before missing practice on Wednesday. However, two back-to-back limited practices on Thursday and Friday should give him a chance to suit up in Week 12 against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings. Jacobs could end up questionable on the final injury report, but the star RB should at least have a shot to play this weekend. If he doesn't, Emanuel Wilson would be first in line for lead-back touches, with Chris Brooks backing him up.

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (knee) doesn't think it will take long for him to return after suffering a knee contusion in Sunday's win over the New York Giants, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN. It's not a pain issue for Jacobs, but he'll need to get his range of motion back before he's cleared to play again. He said that he banged his knee on the second play of Sunday's game, and he didn't return because his knee swelled up fast, and he couldn't bend it. The 27-year-old did not practice on Wednesday but was seen doing individual drills on Thursday, giving him a chance to be active this Sunday against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings. Jacobs' Week 12 status is truly up in the air right now, and the Packers might play it safe and hold him out this weekend. If that happens, Emanuel Wilson will be in line for lead-back duties, with Chris Brooks serving in a change-of-pace RB2 role.

Nov 20 12:10pm CT

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that running back Josh Jacobs (knee) will do individual drills in practice on Thursday, according to Ryan Wood of USA Today Sports. From there, the Packers will see how Jacobs' knee is feeling before deciding how much he'll do for the remainder of Thursday's practice. Although Jacobs is still up in the air to play this Sunday against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings, the good news is that he'll at least be a limited practice participant after he wasn't on the field on Wednesday. The 27-year-old has been a must-start in all fantasy formats as a touchdown machine in 2025, but he's shaping up as a risky commodity in Week 12, even if he's eventually cleared by Sunday's contest. At the very least, fantasy managers should have already scooped up Emanuel Wilson off the waiver wire, as he will be in line for lead-back duties against the Vikes if Jacobs is limited or out in Week 12.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that running back Josh Jacobs (knee) will not practice on Wednesday, according to Weston Hodkiewicz of the team's official site. "The plan is to try to get him healthy enough to go. It's gonna be a day-by-day thing ... and we'll see how he progresses as the week unfolds," LaFleur said. Jacobs suffered a knee contusion in the Week 11 win over the New York Giants, and the Packers are calling him day-to-day for now. The 27-year-old isn't being ruled out for a Week 12 divisional contest against the Minnesota Vikings, but he's going to need to get back on the practice field in the next couple of days to avoid being ruled out. Emanuel Wilson operated as Green Bay's RB1 after Jacobs left last Sunday, making him one of the most popular waiver-wire pickups this week, even if it's for the short term. Chris Brooks would also see an elevated workload if Jacobs is unable to play this weekend.
