New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson has a favorable matchup against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football in Week 13, but he's not a dependable fantasy starter as long as TreVeyon Henderson remains healthy. Stevenson returned from a three-week injury absence last Sunday and found himself relegated to the backup role; he played just 31% of the offensive snaps and logged a measly 10 scrimmage yards on seven touches. Henderson was far more productive and efficient on his 65% snap share and 21 touches. The rookie has officially taken over as the primary ball carrier in New England, leaving Stevenson stuck in a depth role. If he were more efficient, Stevenson would be a candidate to carve out standalone value in games with favorable matchups. However, he has just 3.19 yards per carry this year, including just 1.95 yards per carry over his last two games. With a small workload, Stevenson's inefficiency makes it nearly impossible for him to carve out any sort of production or fantasy value. The Giants have allowed the second-most fantasy points to running backs in 2025, but he ranks as the RB44 in RotoBaller's Week 13 rankings and can be benched in most leagues.
From RotoBaller
Across the first eight weeks of the 2025 season, New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson recorded 448 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 99 touches as his team's RB1. However, Stevenson suffered a toe injury in Week 8 that forced him to miss New England's next three games across Weeks 9 through 11. During that stretch, Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson made his case to lead the team's backfield by averaging over 100 yards from scrimmage per game and scoring five touchdowns. In Stevenson's first game back in the lineup in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Henderson remained New England's feature back. Stevenson struggled to just 10 scrimmage yards on seven touches, while Henderson logged 81 yards from scrimmage on 21 touches. The Patriots may just be bringing Stevenson along slowly in his return from injury, but it's also quite possible that the 27-year-old will be limited to backup running back duties for the rest of 2025. Stevenson should be avoided by fantasy managers in Week 13, even in a favorable matchup against the New York Giants.

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) is officially active for Sunday's Week 12 contest against the hosting Cincinnati Bengals. Stevenson will return to the Patriots' backfield after a three-game absence due to a toe injury. With the 27-year-old out, rookie TreVeyon Henderson thrived in the team's lead-back role, scoring five total touchdowns (four rushing, one receiving) while also averaging 88 rushing yards per game. New England has been non-committal on what Stevenson's role will be upon his return. Before getting hurt, Stevenson was operating as the RB1 and had 83 carries for 279 yards and three touchdowns on the ground while adding 169 receiving yards. However, after Henderson's strong performances the last three weeks, Stevenson will likely see his role reduced. Treat him as more of a shaky RB3/flex in his return this weekend.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) currently carries a questionable tag into Sunday's Week 12 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Stevenson has missed the last three games, but is expected to play this weekend. It's unclear how the backfield snaps will be split up once Stevenson does return. TreVeyon Henderson has scored five touchdowns since Stevenson went down. The rookie back figures to have earned a larger role going forward. Stevenson is likely only going to offer flex appeal in what could be closer to a 50/50 split in the backfield going forward.

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson has been removed from the injury report after a toe injury sidelined him for three consecutive games. He'll return to action this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, presumably without any limitations. This week's backfield dynamic in New England is a little unclear. Stevenson held the lead-back role when healthy, but rookie TreVeyon Henderson looked excellent in his three-week stint as the starter. We expect to see Henderson remain heavily involved this weekend, and he even has a strong chance to lead the backfield in snaps. Nevertheless, the coaching staff has shown its commitment to Stevenson time and time again, which means we should expect him to handle healthy volume in his return to play. He's averaging 12.4 touches per game this season, and even if that number drops a little in Week 12, he's still a solid RB3/flex option. It also helps that he's facing off against a Bengals defense allowing the most fantasy points and second-most receiving yards to opposing running backs in 2025.

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) is expected to be cleared to make his return for this Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12, according to Chad Graff of The Athletic. Despite only being limited in practice this week, Stevenson appears ready to return for the first time since picking up a toe injury in the Week 8 win over the Cleveland Browns. The 27-year-old was operating as the Patriots' RB1 before his injury and had 83 rushing attempts for 279 yards (3.4 yards per carry) and three touchdowns in eight games. Rookie TreVeyon Henderson saw 47 rushing attempts for 264 yards and four touchdowns in the three games that Stevenson missed, adding 10 catches for 66 yards and another TD. Henderson's breakout likely earned him a larger role when Stevenson returns, so fantasy managers will want to temper expectations if Stevenson is active in Cincy.
From RotoBaller
Through the first eight weeks of 2025, New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) was his team's RB1, recording 448 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 99 touches. However, Stevenson has missed New England's last three contests with a toe injury, opening the door for rookie back TreVeyon Henderson. Henderson has recorded 330 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns on 57 touches over the last three weeks. Stevenson has logged two limited practices so far this week, and his status for New England's Week 12 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals remains unclear. Even if Stevenson can return against Cincinnati, his workload may now be limited thanks to Henderson's breakout. If Stevenson is active in Week 12, he profiles as a low-end flex option for fantasy managers in a favorable matchup against Cincinnati. Should Henderson continue to perform, Stevenson's value may only continue to drop over the final weeks of the fantasy season.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) was a limited participant in practice on Thursday. This was the second day in a row that Stevenson, who missed the last three games, logged a limited practice session. He's trending in the right direction to play in Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but Friday's practice should provide more clarity on his status. If he's a full participant, he'll likely head into the weekend without an injury designation. Otherwise, he could garner a "questionable" tag. Even if he does play, New England's backfield will look different than when he was last healthy. TreVeyon Henderson has emerged as an impressive playmaker in his rookie season, tallying 264 rushing yards, 65 receiving yards, and five touchdowns over the course of three games without Stevenson. Henderson has a strong chance to remain the Patriots' lead back, leaving Stevenson in line for fewer than 50% of the team's offensive snaps. Stevenson can be a low-end RB3/flex in a favorable matchup, but Henderson has far more fantasy appeal and upside.

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) is expected to return for the team's matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals after missing the last three weeks. Stevenson had started every game before his injury, managing 279 yards and three touchdowns on 83 attempts. The emergence of rookie TreVeyon Henderson could limit the veteran's workload upon his return, but the team still expects to use the duo as a one-two punch. Fantasy owners should exercise caution with Stevenson, as Henderson is likely to garner the bulk of the work this week.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) is expected to be available for Wednesday's practice, according to head coach Mike Vrabel. The fifth-year pro has been out since Week 9 as he battles a hamstring injury. While Stevenson returned to practice in a limited capacity to begin his prep ahead of their win against the Jets last Thursday night, he was tagged with a DNP to close out the week. It appears the extra few days of rest were enough to get him back to playing shape at least, although he'll return to a less clear situation in the backfield with TreVeyon Henderson's recent surge of production. For now, the most likely scenario would be that the split becomes more even moving forward, but it was trending that way even before he picked up the toe issue. This backfield is worth keeping tabs on when New England squares off with the hosting Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) missed Week 11's Thursday Night Football matchup against the New York Jets, and proceeded to watch rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson score three touchdowns and combine for 93 all-purpose yards, which was a career night for the rookie running back. This was after Henderson rushed for 147 yards in Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and scored twice in that game as well, while Stevenson was sidelined. Due to the nature of how Henderson has broken out, it raises the question of what Stevenson's role will be when he returns. At this time, it's too early to assume that Henderson will completely take over, given Patriots' head coach Mike Vrabel's feelings about Stevenson in the running game. Still, Henderson may be forcing Vrabel's hand in making him the starter, given the results he has put up over the past two weeks. Regardless, Henderson clearly has the upside over Stevenson and appears to be the running back you want in New England, but given the overall effectiveness of the Patriots' offense, whoever gets a majority of the touches will be fantasy relevant.

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) has been ruled out for Thursday night against the New York Jets, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Stevenson will miss his third consecutive game due to the toe injury suffered in Week 8 against the Browns, setting up rookie TreVeyon Henderson for another workhorse role in Week 11. Henderson finally broke out in Week 10 at Tampa Bay, handling 14 carries for 147 yards and breaking off two long touchdowns. ESPN's Dan Graziano suspects that Stevenson will reclaim his role as the Patriots' primary runner between the tackles when he is healthy enough to return, which could come in Week 12. Henderson should be fired up as a borderline RB1 for Thursday night, with Terrell Jennings (knee) questionable as well.
From RotoBaller
ESPN's Dan Graziano thinks that New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) will "reclaim his former roles as the Patriots' main between-the-tackles runner" when he's healthy. Stevenson injured his toe in the Week 8 win over the Cleveland Browns and has missed the last two games. The Pats entered the week with hope that he'd return for Thursday night's game against the division-rival New York Jets, but as of Tuesday night, "it looked as if that return would likely have to wait until Week 12." Rookie TreVeyon Henderson went over 100 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns in the Week 10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the Patriots "still trust the veteran Stevenson more in certain spots and would like to continue using both of them." It's not great news for Henderson's fantasy managers, but Graziano also adds that New England could look to incorporate the rookie more once Stevenson is back.
