Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins bounced back from his quiet game in Week 12 with a monster showing in his team's Week 13 win over the Indianapolis Colts. The 26-year-old hauled in five catches for 98 yards on 10 targets and also recorded a seven-yard rushing touchdown. Collins has now hauled in 57 catches for 795 yards and four touchdowns on 95 targets across 11 games this season. Dating back to Week 7, Collins has earned double-digit targets in five out of his last six games played. He clearly has the full trust of Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, who returned in Week 13 after missing two games with a concussion. Houston has also played much better football overall in the second half of the season, as they have now won four consecutive games. Collins profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver heading into a critical Week 14 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins was only targeted three times on Thursday Night, catching all three passes but finishing with only 55 yards. He was not targeted at all in the second half. Despite his down game, Collins' team was still able to pull out a huge win over the Bills, 23-19, to remain right in the middle of the playoff hunt in the AFC. The Texans have won three straight under Davis Mills, but they'll hope to get C.J. Stroud (concussion) back for next week's huge divisional road game against the Colts. If Stroud returns, Collins will have a higher ceiling, but he has gotten so much volume in the rest of his games this season that he should be poised for a bounce-back performance next week, regardless of who is under center.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins has at least seven catches in each of his last three games and is coming off a big game last week against the Titans. He had nine catches on 10 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown, while working with Davis Mills since C.J. Stroud (concussion) is still sidelined. Stroud will be absent for a third straight week when the Texans host the Bills on Thursday Night Football, but Collins continues to get plenty of volume, drawing double-digit targets in each of his four games since the team's Week 6 Bye Week. Since he brings big play potential and also gets consistent work, Collins is ranked as the No. 7 WR in RotoBaller's ranking in a neutral matchup against Buffalo.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (ankle) should be ready to play on Thursday against the Buffalo Bills after he was listed as a full practice participant on Tuesday. Collins opened the week on Monday listed as limited on the estimated report with a new ankle injury, but it doesn't appear to be serious enough to slow him down going into Week 12 despite the quick turnaround. Even though starting quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) will miss his third straight game this week, fantasy managers should not hesitate to start the 26-year-old pass-catcher against Buffalo. Collins has been a top-10 fantasy wideout in terms of half-PPR points per game (12.6) through 11 weeks of the season as Houston's clear WR1. And he's actually been better the last two weeks with Davis Mills running the offense, catching 16 of 25 targets for 228 yards and one touchdown.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (ankle) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated injury report, according to DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN. It's a new injury for Collins, but he didn't appear to be hurt in the team's Week 11 win over the Tennessee Titans. The 26-year-old caught a season-high nine passes on 10 targets for 92 yards and his fourth touchdown of the year in the 16-13 victory. Starting quarterback C.J. Stroud has missed the last two games with a concussion, but it hasn't slowed Collins down, as he now has 16 receptions on 25 targets for 228 yards and a touchdown the last two weeks with Davis Mills running the offense. As long as Collins can suit up on Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12, he should remain in all starting fantasy lineups. He is the WR11 with 12.6 half-PPR points per game in 2025.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins caught nine of his 10 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's Week 11 win over the Tennessee Titans. Collins paced the team in all major receiving categories, building on an equally impressive performance from back in Week 10. The Texans' top receiver has strung together three impressive games in a row, amassing at least 10 targets, seven receptions, and 14.5 fantasy points (PPR) in each of those contests. He ranks as a top-24 fantasy receiver this season, but his latest hot streak has him teetering on the edge of the WR1 tier for a Week 12 contest against the Buffalo Bills that will likely require C.J. Stroud (concussion) to throw a lot.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins is a good play this week against the Titans, even though he won't have C.J. Stroud (concussion) throwing him the ball, which causes him to slide out of the top 10 in the rankings. Collins had a massive week last week while working with backup Davis Mills, catching seven of 15 targets for 136 yards and tacking on a two-point conversion. The Texans will hope this week's game flow doesn't require Mills to throw 45 times, but it's clear that when the team does air it out, Collins is still the go-to option. Collins has double-digit targets in three straight games, and the Titans have been a good matchup for wide receivers this season. While the risk of a blowout is real, Collins is the WR12 in RotoBaller's Week 11 rankings, making him a strong WR2 option in all formats, even if the volume may be slightly lower this week due to game script.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins was all over the field during Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Collins made some huge catches for the Texans in this one, including a one-handed two-point conversion. He hauled in seven of his 15 targets for 136 yards in the comeback victory. This was the first time that Collins has finished with over 100 receiving yards since Week 3, which was also against the Jags. Collins has posted back-to-back seven-catch performances as he heads into a favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11.
From RotoBaller
Texans' WR Nico Collins had 7 receptions for 136 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's win against the Jaguars.
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins is ready to return to the lineup in Week 9 against the Broncos after missing Week 8 with a concussion. Collins is in a tough matchup against a strong pass defense, but he still brings elite upside. The fifth-year receiver from Michigan has averaged 7.7 targets per game this season and has 26 catches for 339 yards and three touchdowns. Before leaving Week 7's loss to the Seahawks, Collins had four catches for just 27 yards. He has been held under 100 yards in five of his six games this season, and even though he has WR1 upside, he's risky this week returning in such a tough matchup. The Broncos have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points in the NFL to receivers, so Collins checks in as the No. 18 WR in the RotoBaller rankings for the week. Get him back in your lineups this week, but temper expectations.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (concussion) has been cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol and will play in Week 9 on Sunday against the visiting Denver Broncos. Collins was limited in Wednesday's practice, but two full practices on Thursday and Friday put him on track to return to the lineup after missing the Week 8 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday due to a concussion he picked up the week prior on Monday night. The 26-year-old doesn't have the ideal matchup to return to, but the good news is the Broncos' secondary will be without All-Pro cornerback Patrick Surtain II (pectoral). When healthy, Collins is typically matchup-proof and should be quarterback C.J. Stroud's top target on Sunday. The former third-rounder has one 100-yard performance and has scored three times in his six games in 2025. Throw Collins back into your starting fantasy lineups this week.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (concussion) has cleared the league's mandatory concussion protocol and said he's "feeling great, ready to play this week" on Sunday for a Week 9 battle against the visiting Denver Broncos, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Sports. Collins suffered a concussion late in the Monday night loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7 and did not suit up for the Week 8 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He has been back at practice this week, though, and has already cleared the concussion protocol, so fantasy managers should have him back without any restrictions this weekend against a Broncos defense that will be without their top cornerback, Patrick Surtain II (pectoral). Although the matchup still isn't a great one -- Denver's vaunted pass rush could make things difficult for Houston's offensive line -- Collins should be reinserted into all starting fantasy lineups.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (concussion) is back at practice again on Thursday and is expected to clear the league's concussion protocol if all goes well, according to Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle. Collins suffered a concussion in the Week 7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks and sat out of the Week 8 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. However, he returned to a limited practice on Wednesday and is on track to clear the concussion protocol and play this weekend when the Texans host the Denver Broncos. Denver has not been a good matchup for opposing wideouts, but Collins is typically matchup-proof with WR1 upside, and the Broncos' top cornerback, Patrick Surtain II (pectoral), will not be active due to injury. If Collins is officially cleared by Friday, he should be a must-start in fantasy lineups.

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (concussion) returned to practice as he continues to progress through concussion protocol ahead of the team's Week 9 matchup with the Denver Broncos. The 3-4 Texans hope to have their leading receiver back ahead of a difficult test against the stout Broncos secondary. Through six games, Collins has tallied 26 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns. Collins' availability could be a major blow to the usage of Jayden Higgins and Jared Wayne, who filled in during the team's victory over the 49ers last week.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said on Monday that "we'll see how he progresses this week" when asked about wide receiver Nico Collins' (head) status in the league's concussion protocol. Collins is "doing well and trending toward a return" for a Week 9 contest against the Denver Broncos at this point, a source told Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Sports. The 26-year-old was unable to practice last week and didn't play in Sunday's win over the visiting San Francisco 49ers, but if he can get back on the field this week, he's trending toward playing this Sunday in a tough matchup against Denver. With fellow wideout Christian Kirk (hamstring) missing a second straight game over the weekend, Xavier Hutchinson led the team in receiving yards, with rookies Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins also seeing expanded workloads. Collins will be a must-start in Week 9 if he's cleared from the concussion protocol.
From RotoBaller
The Houston Texans have officially ruled out wide receiver Nico Collins (concussion) for the Week 8 contest this Sunday against the visiting San Francisco 49ers, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Collins suffered a concussion in the second half of the Monday night loss to the Seattle Seahawks and was unable to practice all week due to his head injury. In addition to Collins, Christian Kirk (hamstring) will miss a second straight game, meaning rookies Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins, and Xavier Hutchinson will all see boosted roles in Houston's passing attack this weekend. It's unclear if Collins will be able to clear the league's concussion protocol next week to make his return in Week 9 on Sunday, Nov. 2, against the Denver Broncos. Noel and Higgins will be on the WR4/flex radar for fantasy managers with the bye-week blues in Week 8, with six teams on bye.
