Across 11 games since being acquired by the Philadelphia Eagles, running back Tank Bigsby has recorded just 18 carries for 164 yards. As long as star Eagles running back Saquon Barkley remains healthy, there appears to be a firm ceiling on Bigsby's playing time and opportunity for touches. The 24-year-old has logged double-digit offensive snaps in just one game this season. However, Bigsby's average of 9.1 rushing yards per attempt is a clear indicator of his significant production upside if Barkley were to suffer an injury. In a larger, 168-carry sample size across 16 games with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024, Bigsby averaged 4.6 yards per attempt and scored seven rushing touchdowns. Bigsby's never provided much production as a receiver, so fellow Eagles back Will Shipley would likely handle passing-downs work even if Barkley were to go down. Still, Bigsby is a high-end handcuff option who is worth rostering in fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams heading into a Week 14 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby won't be worthy of a fantasy start in Week 13's meeting with the visiting Chicago Bears. The third-year pro was traded to Philadelphia at the beginning of the season to play second fiddle in the team's backfield behind teammate Saquon Barkley. However, since taking over the job from A.J. Dillon, Bigsby has racked up just 18 carries and 164 yards for Philadelphia -- all of which have come since Week 8. As it stands, fantasy managers can safely avoid the Auburn product in all leagues sans deep dynasty formats, as the path to him finding fantasy relevance outside of an injury to the player ahead of him on the depth chart is narrow.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby could get his breakout moment this Friday if Saquon Barkley (groin) is unable to suit up. Bigsby is the only Philly RB besides Barkley to get any carries in the last two weeks, and would likely get his number called as the next man up should the Eagles' primary backfield option miss the game against Chicago. While the former Jaguar hasn't seen a ton of action since being traded to Philadelphia earlier this season, he has shown promise with his limited opportunities. In 10 games, Bigsby has carried the ball 18 times for 164 yards for an average of 9.1 yards per carry. The Eagles offensive live is always going to be a huge benefactor to whoever gets the handoffs, and fellow RB Will Shipley would probably be used more in the passing game. If he does get the starting nod, Bigsby should be seen as at least a mid-level RB2 against a Bears defense allowing the 14th-most fantasy points to RBs.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby has settled in as the team's RB2 behind starter Saquon Barkley. However, that doesn't mean the 24-year-old former Jaguars RB should be rostered in 12-team fantasy leagues for the time being. Bigsby played only three offensive snaps in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys and had one carry for eight yards. In his 10 games since joining the Eagles this year, Bigsby has only 18 carries for 164 yards in a backup role. Philly's offense has been sluggish, too, which hasn't helped Bigsby's cause for more work in a complementary role. Going into a Week 13 game against the Chicago Bears this Friday, the Eagles rank 21st in the league in rushing yards per game (110.5). Unless Barkley misses time with an injury, Bigsby can probably be left to the waiver wire in shallow fantasy formats.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby was the only backup RB to record any stats for his team last week, getting four carries for 34 yards versus Detroit. At this point, it's a complete toss-up on who plays second fiddle to Saquon Barkley in the Philly backfield. Bigsby has shown promise with the time on the field he's gotten, but next week it could be Will Shipley's number getting called. It doesn't seem like a good idea to have any Eagles back rostered in fantasy outside of Barkley, and if he does go down, it might just be a mad scramble to the waiver wire until it becomes clear who the true replacement would be.

Nov 21 8:50pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby hasn't been able to make much of an impact on the field this season. In Week 8, Bigsby rushed for 104 yards on nine yards, but outside of that Bigsby has been a non-factor. The 23-year-old has seen seven carries over the last two weeks as the primary back to Saquon Barkley. The expectation is that Bigsby is going to continue having a minimal role in the offense as long as Barkley is healthy. Bigsby could be worth stashing in deep leagues because if something happens to Barkley he'll likely have a larger role. Outside of that, Bigsby can be ignored while Barkley is healthy.

Philadelphia running back Tank Bigsby took his first offensive snaps with the Eagles in Week 7 and followed that up by turning nine carries into 104 yards in a Week 8 win over the Giants that saw starter Saquon Barkley exit early with a groin injury. With the Eagles on a Week 9 bye, Barkley's health remained in question heading into Week 10, making Bigsby a popular waiver add over those two weeks. In Week 10's win over the Packers, Barkley outsnapped Bigsby 44 to eight and saw 25 total opportunities to Bigsby's 3, proving once again that when healthy, the Eagles' backfield belongs to Barkley. Bigsby is still worthy of a roster spot as the apparent next man up behind Barkley, but heading into a Week 11 matchup with the Lions, he has no standalone value.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby took over lead back duties in Week 8 after Saquon Barkley left the game early due to a groin injury. Despite logging zero offensive snaps in his first five weeks on the team, Bigsby has seemingly jumped up to being the primary backfield backup after getting nine carries for 104 yards against the Giants. It's unlikely the former Jaguar will see much action this week against the Packers-or any game that Barkley plays in for that matter-but keep an eye on Bigsby as a top-tier handcuff in a pinch.

Nov 3 9:50pm CT

In the Philadelphia Eagles' final game before their Week 9 bye, star running back Saquon Barkley (groin) was forced to exit the game early due to a groin injury. That opened up an opportunity for Eagles back Tank Bigsby, who rushed for 104 yards on nine carries after taking over for Barkley. Immediately after Philadelphia's Week 8 game concluded, Barkley told reporters he expected to be ready for Week 10. Still, Bigsby could play a larger role in the Eagles' offense if Barkley is limited or his injury proves to be more serious than initially expected. Bigsby should be a waiver-wire target of fantasy managers in leagues with 12 or more teams heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Tank Bigsby could carry some fantasy relevance as the team heads into its bye week. Bigsby impressed in the 38-20 win over the New York Giants, rushing for 104 yards on just nine carries. The fourth year back spent the first three seasons of his career in Jacksonville, but was traded after Week 1 to Philadelphia to be the backup. Saquon Barkley suffered a groin injury late in the game, potentially opening the door for Bigsby to see an expanded role if Barkley misses time. Barkley downplayed the injury to reporters, and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport noted it's not believed to be serious. For now, Bigsby remains a valuable handcuff, though the Week 9 bye gives Barkley additional time to recover and return by Week 10.

Since being acquired by the Philadelphia Eagles in early September, running back Tank Bigsby has seen minimal usage. Heading into Week 8, Bigsby had seen just two total touches. However, that changed in Week 8 after Eagles RB1 Saquon Barkley (groin) was forced to exit the game early due to a groin injury. Bigsby recorded nine carries for 104 yards against the New York Giants with Barkley sidelined for a significant portion of the second half of the game. The Eagles have their bye week in Week 9, and Barkley reportedly appears confident that he'll be healthy enough to play in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. The bye week limits Bigsby's fantasy appeal, but he's still a name to monitor as long as there's any question about Barkley's health status. For deep-league managers with an available roster spot, stashing Bigsby through the bye week could pay dividends if Barkley's injury ends up being worse than it initially seems.
